I've been really impressed with the follow up and communication. Certainly there are bumps with every place we interact with in life, but how the bumps are handled has been really great. Staff have been responsive,… communicative, helpful, and understanding. And my son is overall making great strides.
I cannot get ahold of them at all!! I keep calling and no one answers. I'm just trying to get my number switched on file because I got a new one💔
IF YOUR GOING TO WINGS PLESE READ THIS!!!! I went here a few months ago and it was the worst treatment center ive ever been too, they do not allow home passes because it "gives tou a chance to bring something back or… relapse on the pass" and i asked what about when you get sent home and the director told me "it isnt the centers problem when you leave" the staff was VERY inappropriate with one of the clients, she got caught making out with one of the students and if you dont believe that i have proof of the staff still dating the client to this day, if you get caught RECIEVING a note and throwing it away instead of turning it in you will get a sexual harassment charge and if you hug or kiss from a client you will get a RAPE charge, they are very money motivated if you read the contracts you have to sign you will see how much money they scrap out of you, if you BREAK A TREE BRANCH its $150, if you fig a hole outside its ANOTHER $150, and theres much more insane costs, if your roomates laundry is on your side of the room you will get a a THEFT charge and same if you borrow a bottle of LOTION, and they DO NOT call your parents or have good communication whatsoever, im not going to say it is the worst place ever but im telling you what to expect when you go there.
Not sure why its so damn difficult to get ahold of someone in that building ,so I can bring a patient art supplies. As a parent im appalled shouldn't take DAYS to talk to a damn human!!
I attended wings from 11-3-23 to 2-7-23 two dates I will always remember by heart l I was 17 and am now 20. My experience at wings were some of the best moments I had as a teenager ,the beginning and ending is always a… little more emotional especially as a teenager who had to miss on the holidays with their family. I will say I enjoyed the holiday outings, food, the plans they had for us, the structure, recreation, and programming, especially my counselor, Abby Olson always made sure I was good even when she had other things going on. The staff at the time were caring and understanding. My favorite part was the connection and memories I got to share with the guys we were like brothers🙏. Shoutout Ross and all the cooks as well as the teachers. 10/10 (you take it how you make it) shout out Kristy, Scott, and Cheryl🙏❤️
This place is horrible. Unrealistic expectations for staff and clients. Save your children and do not send them here!
I was here January-March 25’ and idk how it is now since some of the staff I went there with are now gone, but I can say that I had some of the best experiences of my life in wings, all the staff were supportive & I’ll… never forget them & the people I met there. It takes a couple weeks to adjust and I didn’t wanna be there at first, but as my time there came to an end I didn’t wanna leave, I’ll forever carry the things I've learnt from wings with me. Thank you for giving me more chances than i ever deserved, Love n miss everyone there❤️
Lack of communication prejudice when your kid experience uncomfortable situations on an adult level your not informed your deposit isn't returned when said messages don't get you literally can be waiting not a few days… or even a few weeks but months and still no return call or message returned unless it's about bringing new clients scheduled appointments are missed literally I only gave one star because only one staff personnel who deals with kids hands on is suitable for the position this is so frustrating especially when your kid is in their care administration is the absolute worst and driven by new money please let me save you time don't send your kid here especially if there copper
I was here for 78 days could’ve been 71 but I got extended for something I didn’t do it was very understandable but overwhelming. My stay was very bitter sweet I loveeee love loveeee the staff and the girls I had there… with me Omgg I will FORVER have this place in my heart. This place has taught me a ton of things i wouldn't have learned if I never went here. It took me about 3 weeks to adjust to the new environment but after that I kinda loved it I definitely wouldn’t do it again! But I miss this place a lot I really really do I wanna go back and spend just one more day lol 😭🫶🏼
I went here when I was an adolescent I think when I was around 16, I’m 21 now. Growing up I didn’t go to a lot of humane treatment centers when I think back on my time here though it was awesome. The food was great I… was never hungry we went on field trips and got outside often. It was so fun here it felt like summer camp but in a therapeutic way. I hope it’s the same since I went there. Thank you guys.
The staff there are amazing. 🩷
I was here September-December 2024 and I honestly don’t have one bad comment about the place. My counselor was Rachelle and she was genuinely the best. She truly wanted the best for all of the kids, if it wasn’t for her… I don’t think I would’ve enjoyed my stay as much as I did. All of the staff were so amazing. They all put in the effort to make the kids’ lives easier & you can clearly tell that they truly care. I met some of the best people while I was there & I will continue to remember that place. Thanks for everything :)
I have made repeated calls with questions about my grandson. I am now his legal guardian and full time caretaker. I don’t even get the consideration of a return call. Guess they got paid and that’s what matters$$$.… After my post, I did get a call from director Wylie. I’m torn because I feel the post was the only reason I got the call as he requested I remove or change it. It’s not about their program, but about the frustration with their personnel who completely ignore repeated requests for a call. Common courtesy!
i was here in the summer and ran away twice but i wanted to say that the kids i met here and all of the tech staff i havent forgotten anything from that place. seeing how othher kids were struggling with totally… different things that i was struggling with, but somehow we all made each other feel less lonely. although i might have to come back soon i wouldnt run away.
My son was here for 90 days. I am beyond grateful for the help and guidance he/we received. The counselors went above and beyond. She genuinely listened to our input and incorporated what she heard into his… assignments.we had some Extenuating circumstances that she was able to accommodate as well. I felt the director had my son's best interest at heart. He genuinely cared about the children. They were very accommodating with my schedule for our weekly visits. I chose to give 4 stars due to a few issues with a nurse. The nurse that we ended up dealing with for the rest of his stay went above and beyond as well. I would highly recommend this facility and staff.
I was at wings from January 25th or 2022 to may 17th of 2023. Kayli was my counselor and she did a fantastic job. They helped me realize that I can do amazing things and I deserve a shot at a better life. I didn’t want… to leave. I met amazing people I still talk with today. I haven’t called in a while but I’m doing so much better than I was before I came there. Kristy is a great mentor and floor staff. I really related to her. Everyone was so kind and supportive. Truly great people. Wings is a blessing. Gave me a shot at life, support, and skills I hope to forever use.
Incredible place. They do so much with the kids. It has changed my daughter immensely. I would give a 10 star if I could.
I wish I would’ve listened to what they had to say. They were right.
I have literally called this place and left at least 10-15 messages with various people over the span of 2-3 days, sent them 2 emails, and NO ONE will return my phone call or messages! My son was referred to go there,… but how can I get him in if no one calls back ... and now I'm wondering do I want my son there if I can't even get a return call from a staff member? I am so frustrated. A parent shouldn't have to cry and beg for a return phone call from a place like this.
We had a rough beginning at Wings but all in all my daughter ended up doing better. She is at home now and really wanting to do better with her life. I still don't like that my child wasn't able to talk to us more or… the fact we weren't able to see her for more than 40 days (due to covid-19) but she did make progress.
I met the love of my life in wings
My counselor Grace was the best I could’ve asked for! Along with amazing staff! Sheryl and Allyson and Katie and Kortney, the list just goes on and on! Can’t forget about Greg’s recovery mentoring!! Wings gave me my… second chance at life and I’m so grateful!
This place helped me a lot, the staff go out of their way to help you out, the food is great although the meals get a little bit repetitive. My counselor went the extra mile to help set me up for the rest of my life.… There's a lot of structure which makes it frustrating at times but it also helps a lot too. The teacher helps everyone at a personalized level to make they actually meet ur needs. There is also a pretty decent amount of recreational activities that make it more fun. I also started some of the realest friendships I've ever had and learned how to maintain healthy relationships with them and others. Overall I recommend this place to anyone in need of treatment.
I had an amazing experience at wings. They helped me in various ways not only with my chemical dependency but mental health as well. I am so thankful to have my life back. The tech’s, staff and counselors are amazing.… Shoutout to DODI! ❤️
My son was at Wings for 81 days. All of the staff is great. My sons counselor Dodi was I’m incredible. She was able to get him to settle in and participate in activities. The work they do here with these teenagers is… great. I always received return phone calls in a timely manner and were always able answer my questions. I am extremely thankful for the staff in this program
I came in and i was fine and i left with very red eye lids i had them for a month ive asked multiple staff to bring me to a doctor for it i was ignored they took me off my meds and lied and said my mom pulled them which… wasnt the case some techs care and some techs dont give a damn about the clients when clients are wrongly accused cd techs refuse to swallow there pride and apologize to clients somedays while my stay jail wouldve been a better option
