I think it’s strange that the psychiatrist here expects parents to call around to different pharmacies to find out which ones carry certain medications for their children. Most pharmacists won’t give this information… over the phone, leaving families in a stressful, often impossible position. Care coordination is a core responsibility of clinical staff, not parents. When families are asked to do administrative legwork, it increases stress, delays treatment, and creates barriers to consistent care—especially for children who need timely medication adjustments. This system makes mental‑health care harder than it needs to be. Tasks like checking medication availability are typically handled by nurses or support staff in most clinics, and shifting that burden onto parents is not considered best practice. Overall, the approach here adds unnecessary obstacles for families already trying to support their children’s mental health.

So unprofessional I’ve been calling these people over two weeks for my daughter medication. No compassion and bad customer service. A waste of time

I was contacted via telephone, which of course I was indisposed & missed the initial call. The customer service representative was kind enough to leave a voicemail & of which I returned the call, as promptly as I… possibly could. Diane was the associate for MHSD who had initially reached out to me regarding discrepancies & concerns that are VITAL to my well-being & livelihood. Diane’s mannerisms aka “ Bedside manner” was courteous, empathetic, sympathetic, professional, soft-spoken, thorough, caring, sincere, accurate/logical & she was overall absolute godsend & pleasure to speak with regarding my problems & possible resolutions. She gave me descriptive & specific advice as to how to continue to achieve my goals. She even offered a follow up call the next day with more possible resources to aid my endeavor to Live a normal life again, since the loss of my husband. Thank you, Diane! From the bottom of my heart & soul core. And thank you MHSD for taking me into your program Providing me w the much needed help, That has been long overdo in my life. God bless y’all.♥️🙏

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Getting somone to even answer the phone is difficult. When they finally answered the intake interview was a 45 minute phone call, they requested documents ie: social card,… identification, utility bill and then after sending those documents I didn't hear another word. After calling numerous times finally speaking with a rep she informed me I had an appointment two weeks away. Not once did anyone contact me to confirm this appointment and two weeks would make it a month from the date I originally called. Please just seek help elsewhere trust me.
