Something is wrong with their metjadone , I been at 100 mgs for several years , transferred to Springeild mass for a few months with 27 bottles , came back a few months later and been pretty much in withdrawals since ,… they took my 27 bottles and cut me to weekly pickups .. until I found My correct dose , mind you I been stable at 100 for years now , now at 125 mgs the highest I ever been , I am okay one week and sick , borderline withdrawals the next . Something IS wrong with there methadone or their Calabration is way off .. this week ,of March 19 I am in full withdrawals at 125 mgs . Tell me how the hell tbks is even possible !!!! Now I worry to let them know as they already took all my bottles , it’s truly messing with my life and my job .. this cant continue like this , I need to be stable or switch elsewhere because something , at the north haven clinic is OFF!!! I don’t know what to do at this point .
I've been a apt client since 2007 and was at nh since the day was open up until about a month Ago. I had to get transferred from this clinic to another location. Because the director Kim Dee uses her power In a misuse… type of way. I told my psychiatrist about it as Kim tried to tell me that I was no longer allowed to see the psychiatrist. That is part of the app foundation, and she went through great lengths to try and stop me. And then blamed it on the higher-ups, even though I talked to them. And they said that was not the case. And my psychiatrist saw the actions of her as well. And immediately moved me to another location period the North Haven clinic. I do not recommend to anyone seeking help with addiction. Because kim, the director has been recorded in meetings by past workers who have canals. Now now quit because of her actions, they recorded her stating that it's more important to worry about funding than it is about the people. And helping them. Today I went to my new clinic was getting bottles. And only going in once a week until they saw in the computer.Today somebody dropped my bottles down.So I have to come multiple times a week now.Because someone from the north haven clinic who I have not been a client there for the past month.Just this past week, put in that I failed a breathalyzer test which is funny because i'm not even a clienter anymore. And I have never been breathtaked since two thousand seven.Because I do not drink alcohol.Hence, I am a drug addict that is recovering. Lucky the nurse and the counselors at my new clinic location caught the person and is going to report the person who put this on my file to make me lose one of my bottles And I have recordings and everything of Kim basically using her power in the wrong way which I'm really thinking about releasing to the higher-ups or to the news because she does not deserve to be a director and All they're doing is taking the funding money and instead of putting it towards T hordes better groups, better resources for our homeless, recovering addict. They're using it to remodel their comfort. So they can have a nicer place to sit down in the lobby or a nicer office. After today, stunt with somebody at North Haven lying, stating that I failed a Breathalyzer test and getting one of my bottles taken away. Somehow, even though I'm not a client there, I will be calling Bob. The head of that foundation. And if he doesn't take care of the situation and get rid of the people that don't deserve to be at this clinic because they're not helping any addicts at all. They're actually hurting people. Then, I will keep calling demos. Every single day with the group of clients that are tired of the actions that are happening at north haven.Because there are so many things that are not being followed that.I went to longworth and have called up and have talked to multiple people from different locations. And north haven does not follow any of the rules that the app supposedly states they're supposed to follow. When it comes to bottles when it comes to everything and every time I try to get more bottles than one week.I was brought through the ringer and my wife, who was a nurse who holds onto my medication with gloves and everything, because she's allergic to opiates, she has watched the type of harassment of me, trying to get bottles and then making me jump through hoops, and then blaming it at the end on the medication that they prescribe me at the app foundation! I advise every addict to choose a different location.Other than north haven app foundation, because ninety percent of the workers there look at you like you're a piece of garbage because you made a bad choice in life, and they don't care about your well being all they care about is the paycheck in their pocket. And the nurses there will tell you straight to your face, which is so sad when you get up to the window and you find out the truth from the people that work there of what goes beyond beyond the scenes!
Wonderful program and staff ,Apt foundation is one of the best places I've been able to follow through because they actually care!
It works if you work it . Saved My Life.
Gives you a chance to start your life over !!Amen
Apt is a great facility that offers different programs & medication options for those struggling w/addiction but are ready to make the change. It's conveniently located & right on the bus route. Counselors at Apt are… caring, genuinely want to help, & most have also been thru the program so can emphasize w/your situation.
Amazing staff an knowledgeable about this difficult situation an go out of there way to help get your life back on track.!!!
Not a bad place much better than root
Truly awesome folks.. they really care about you..
Its a great friendly environment!!
Great service, very friendly while remaining professional. The 2 ladies that helped me out were excellent! Completely dispelled the unnecessary sense of nervousness I had given myself when it comes to looking into my… mental health & well being thereof. Thank you sincerely!
This review has 2 parts. The first is for Kimberly DiMeola. She is the Director of the treatment center. I met Kim this morning after being there for over 2 years. She is absolutely amazing !!!!!!!! She really cares… about the what happens in the treatment plan that is made for us. Now I know why this facility operates as well as it does. It is because Kim cares as much as she does. Thank you Kim for all that you do !!!!!! Now the 2nd part...this is for Retta. Retta is a nurse that helps dispense the meds. I must say I look foward to seeing her everyday. Everyday Retta puts a motivating verse on her window. This verse changes every day and really motivates me to always think positive and never let lifes struggles get me down. She really makes a difference in my life each morning. Thank you Retta .....I think the world of you!!!! One more recognition i think is well deserved....and that would be the women at the front desk. They do a fantastic job making sure the patients are well taken care of when they arrive. Their job can be very difficult because lets face it....people can be very moody ,,,,and very needy.... They have a way of keeping people happy.,.,,Thank you all !!!!! for all you do!!!!!!
This place helped me stay clean and healthy for twelve years on their maintenance program. I started at the Congress Ave. location, moved to the Long Warf clinic after a few years, then ended up at the North Haven… location for the last several years of treatment. Every staff member at all three locations treated me with patience and respect from day one. Other programs in the area pale in comparison. The councilors at APT seemed to have a better understanding of addiction than most. Being treated like an human being, not an addict, is why I was able to persevere through a dozen years without a single relapse. APT never pushed me to taper off before I was ready, never pressured me to remain. If you are considering a maintenance program, this one will give you a chance, and any chance is better than none.
So the Apt is a big program with long lines and a dif experience then the program around the corner which is SCRC. Which I believe is the better location better and shorter lines but the apt is literally across the… street from a new school and are in the process of shutting down and moving even tho they have been there for 12 b4 they built the school but I look at it these programs save alot of street overdoses from fentynal and now cocaine laced with tranq and fentynal. But I do believe these places for the most part give the person a Chance Weather a small percent or not any life saved is a blessing to the parents and they do counseling And one on one help u see the different Dr u may need they help and work with u if u have mental health and need different types of meds they help with all that. It's a 4 star clinic and recommended especially if u have a love one ur trying to save from a life of misery destruction jails institutions and sadly alot of death the street r dangerous and even more so for women so push and help them get clean call and save thier life these programs help so don't live with that guilt. Also u can call 211 and they will have a person to guide u thru the dif programs that new haven and surrounding areas have so check them out save a friend love one or a parent.
A really great place to have an alternative to using Street opiate drugs which are very dangerous and
Stay strong!!!!
Are you looking to get clean from addiction from opiates such as painkillers and / or herion. Apt Foundation is the place to call or visit. There great staff is there to help.
