About Community Medical Services – Wasilla
Community Medical Services operates from 2521 East Mountain Village Drive in Wasilla. The site sits in Matanuska Susitna County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Gateway, Knik-Fairview and Meadow Lakes. Distance matters here, and the nearest option is not always the one that fits.
Outpatient care is delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, an opioid treatment program and telehealth appointments. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Treatment Services at Community Medical Services
Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Buprenorphine and methadone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen.

Community Medical Services Address, Location and Contact Information
The address is 2521 East Mountain Village Drive, Wasilla, AK 99654, in Matanuska Susitna County. The catchment reaches Gateway, Knik-Fairview and Meadow Lakes. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.
Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Interpreting services including ASL are available on request. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip.

How Much Does Treatment at Community Medical Services Cost?
Uninsured rehab in Alaska generally costs $1,500 to $5,500 a month for standard outpatient care. RehabSeekers could not find Community Medical Services – Wasilla’s own prices at the time of writing, and those amounts describe the state, not this facility.

Community Medical Services Reviews and Ratings
Reviews are where patients and families describe Community Medical Services in their own terms: the welcome at admission, the counseling, the planning for life after treatment.
Reading them is a sensible step before calling the Wasilla facility. Writing one, if you have been treated there, helps the families who come next.
Best staff I’ve seen at a treatment center . What was the Docs full name again ? He was super chill and understanding
Staff is amazing and helpful. Nurses are smart, helpful and sensitive to the clients needs!
Always willing to work with you. Quality of life has greatly improved going here.
All the staff here are awesome! They have played a HUGE part in my sobriety journey. From the ladies at the front desk to the nurses in the back and Dr. Gardner; they have always made me feel comfortable and have… lowered my anxiety about dealing with clinical settings. I was super nervous about coming in and seeking treatment. But from day 1...minute 1, they all have been so helpful and friendly. Never have I felt judged or looked down on. Dr. Gardner is the best!!! He is such a humble person, always has encouraging words for me and reminds me to be proud of myself. I am so grateful for them. 💯🤗😎
If you want to sit and wait for an hour or two to get your dose because they refuse to hire another nurse or open another dosing window or any other minor issue that holds up the window for half a day while the line… stacks up to 40+ patients then it’s perfect for you. If you have a life or a job or anything like that then I don’t recommend.
My personal opinion is your wasilla front desk employee Michelle is a god sent and she deserves a raise. A medal and anything she wants!!!
Amazing staff all around. Every counselor I have had was phenomenal, caring and what I really liked was that they had experienced hardship or addiction first hand, so they really knew the struggles. The office staff is… great. Michelle is awesome, she's fast, witty and professional. I say professional because on many occasions, I've seen her deal with unreasonable, ornery and straight up rude patients, and she did it calmly, with a smile on her face. Adam is great too. The nursing staff is amazing. Leah and Rosie are a breath of fresh air in the morning. They always have a smile on their faces and seem to genuinely care about the well-being of their patients. I strongly recommend CMS to anyone struggling with addiction.
This place is a life saver and every single staff person is the best. They are so understanding, never judge, and couldn’t ask for better people. The front desk lady is the most patient of people I’ve ever met. She puts… up with the craziest of crazy’s like a pro. She’s awesome!!
The staff are very caring & always try to accommodate any issues.
The staff are incredible. They listen and are understanding.
I have always had a great experience coming here, the staff really cares about you and your recovery, if you want a better life this is a great start in your recovery journey
Everyone's really cool, they've been super helpful in my recovery journey, I really like my counselor. It is a little rough having to come every single day with two jobs and a disabled kid especially when I do… everything I'm supposed to do and it seems like my privileges are taking way too long to kick in but it is what it is. Good experience overall
There always fast for intake which is Monday Tuesday and Wednesday! After a day later all you have to do is put your number in and they call you up with in 30 minutes, usually half that time! Just love this place there… saving lives and families! God bless
I love how the counselors, nurses and the doctor are all on your side and want to see you succeed!!
This place is awesome, and patient. They don't judge, they don't treat you like dirt. I'm a returning patient, i tried other programs but this one got me to come back for a reason
Just transfered to this treatment center from out of state. To better my life. And it's been rough, however they have very kind nurses and extremely kind receptionists. Wish they could of been able to assist my needs… better as being from out of state.
The people that work here are very compassionate caring and dedicated to helping people. If you need help this is the place to start
Thanks so much to CMS for helping me find the courage to get sober and the support you need to stay on track. I was very skeptical of how well it could work for me at the beginning, but being a year into treatment, now… I can't believe how much it helped me find myself again. I love the staff, doctor, and I really love and connect with my counselor and they always help bring you up instead of putting you down. Even of you have a relapse, they don't belittle you and make you feel like recovery is unstained. Even on hard days I'm glad to know that I am apart of a system that not only helps those who are serious about recovery, but provides the motivation you need to stay on track and get your life back. Thank you for saving my life, and helping me improve my quality of life each and every day.
Is this a methadone clinic?
They helped me and I've got two friends who are going to them now!! Yay recovery!!
if you are really serious about getting sobar like i was 10 year addiction been sobar 2 1/2 years my life is amazing with this program i was able to get the help and support i needed to actually be successful at staying… sobar.....i never want to hear someone say they cant get help....cuz if there forreal there is help ohh and not one dirty ua in all that time!!!!!!!!!
Staff is so considerate and kind. They don’t treat you like less of a person. Coming here changed my life for the better. I had no idea how much I would benefit from their services. Anyone struggling with opioid… dependence should consider at least talking with the counselors here. We do recover!
Great place and in and out fast...summer is an amazing lady!!!
