About MedMark Treatment Centers – Albuquerque
MedMark Treatment Centers operates from 1528 Five Points Road SW in Albuquerque. The site sits in Bernalillo County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, Pajarito Mesa and South Valley. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at MedMark Treatment Centers
Intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers.

Great place
I was lied to by everyone over here when I did my phone interview I asked the person i talked to if they would sign the medical nessity from for me because I am going to need help with gas or rides in order for me to go… every and they told me yes that they would sign it for me at the clinic because I need to be there every day except Saturday and Sunday so I go to the clinic to get everything i need done to start going over there And when I'm there I asked everyone that I interacted with the same question and every one gave me the same answer skip to Monday and the first day that I'm officially enrolled in the clinic I take the form that I need signed and I have 2 of them one that is already filled out all I need is a signature and the other one is blank and needed to be filled out and signed either one of them would have been fine so I start asking everyone that told me yes that they would make sure that the forms that I needed filled out and sent in if they could sign it so I can send it in and everything changed from one day to the next from every one telling me yes they can make sure it is taken care of for me to no we don't fill out paperwork so I asked if they could just sign the one that I filled out and was again told no that they won't sign anything so now I'm stuck at a clinic that I'm going to eventually get kicked out of for missing to many days and will never be able to move up and be able to get take homes because I'm not going to be able to make it every day because everyone refuses to do the paperwork I need for my insurance

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO THIS CLINIC FOR THE PAST 15 YRS AT LEAST. I DEFINITELY THINK IT WAS MUCH MORE ORGANIZED And THE STAFF ACTUALLY CARED IF U WERE GOING THROUGH SOMETHING. AN TRIED THERE BEST TO HELP U WORK THROUGH IT,… THEY DEFINITELY WENT ABOVE AN BEYOND TO HELP U GET WHATEVER RESOURCES WERE AVAILABLE THAT PERTAINED TO U & COULD POSSIBLY HELP U IN ANY WAY.SINCE THE SWITCH TO NEW COMPANY COUNSELORS R JUST THERE FOR A PAYCHECK, AN SEEM TO CHANGE W THE WEEK. IVE GONE THROUGH ABOUT 7 COUNSELORS IN THE PAST 2 YRS AN NOT 1 OF THEM HAVE ACTUALLY GIVEN A HELLO OUTSIDE R 1 ON 1 ONCE A MONTH, LET ALONE HELP ME WITH ANYTHING IVE ASKED FOR HELP W. NOT JUST THAT BUT OUT OF 2 OTHER CLINICS OUR METHADONE HASNT BEEN HOLDING ME AT ALL AND IS CONSIDERATELY DIFFERENT IN COLORS FOR ABOUT THE PAST 6 MTHS NOW OR 1 DAY IT WILL BE STRONG THE WAY IT SHOULD B AN THE NEXT IT'S NOT, WHY? I'm ACTUALLY TRYING TO SWITCH CLINICS NOW, SUCKS CUZ I ALWAYS LIKED COMING HERE ...
If you need help I would consider going to ANY other clinic in Albuquerque. This clinic can't keep staff for longer than a couple of weeks so the clients end up paying the price for it. Ever since MedMark took them over… they dont care about the clients or their staff apparently otherwise they wouldn't have such a hard time keeping people around. I have been going there for 15yrs & i am most likely going to be changing clinics soon.
This clinic has gone completely downhill ever since it was bought out by MedMark. It went from a well running, efficient clinic that got you in and out to a total train wreck no matter what day of the week or what time… you come. And it's like this EVERY day. For months on end it's been like this. The nurses just don't care at all that there are DOZENS of people backed up to the point that the line is going out the back door of the building. They just take their time. The counselors are great. But they can't help get people in and out. If you have the choice of going literally ANYWHERE else, take it. Do not come to this clinic. You will regret it.
What is the Director name?
Worse clinic. ever since it's changed managment it has gone dwn
I'll give them 5 stars , mainly cuz to be honest with this place u get what u put in.. For example if u give a 100 % then the staff with put in 100 % . They are very helpful and Genuine if they see u are trying they… will give u that extra push u need.
Staff allowed petty and personal issues not related to recovery to over shadow certain immediately management and pressing issues. After addressing this to staff, including upper management I was admonished. I left this… clinic disappointed and disillusioned about the possibility of this form of recovery. I continually get negative responses from other clinics in town when I apply for treatment.
They are so nice there even when you're struggling with addiction they still handle you with love and care
Came in with my daughter on her first visit as an intake. We almost left as there was no step by step process. We waited 45 minutes just for paperwork and we where wondering what was the next step. All while the 3… lady's in the office talked about their person lives. Very discouraging when my daughter is trying to be seen. I had to walk up to the office to ask what was the next step when we were asked to put on masks after 45 minutes of being there and staff was not using mask.
This place has saved me from some bad places in my life,if it wasn't for Recovery Services my revolving door too Prison would have continued, thank you😊 too all the nurse's and my counselors .
This place is awseome. In and out and they help anybody. Not judgemental at all. Best clinlc in Albuquerque. Thank you....
Good place
If they really want to help people why aren't they open when they say they'll be open. I was there before 7:30 then after several calls was told that on this morning they don't open till 9:30! No signs, no online info,… nothing.
I love this place! I was in the RSONM program at MDC, I immediately transferred to Five Points upon discharge and never missed a dose nor have I used since July 2018!
Good people
Because they provide help and counseling.
