This place is everything one needs out of a MAT dosing facility. As long as your insurance is in normal order or you’re able to pay…. Either way these people and this place is ONLY HERE TO HELP. They do NOT do this… because it’s FUN or because us addicts are really easy to work with on a daily basis!! They do it because they GAF. The staff work hard and help as much as they can. I think a lot of the 1 or 2 Star reviews need to be taken with a grain of salt. Miracle workers, unfortunately, are not real.
These people REALLY want $$$. I called just to find out what their costs were (left a message), only to have them call my phone EVERY DAY until I got ahold of them... and their cost is substantially higher than the… other clinics.
Place is a joke. Sometimes you don't have a counselor or a doctor depends on who you are
Everyone here has been so wonderful since I started this past January. From Teri up front to the counselors and Ken in the back, everyone of them has been great in helping me on my journey to sobriety. A huge thank you… to all of you
I've been here for over 11 years and have maintained sobriety with the help of the staff this treatment center is one of the best the staff is caring and always showing commitment to their clients. I would recommend Ann… Arbor treatment center to anyone who is serious about their sobriety. Honestly I can't say enough good things about the treatment center. One day at a time.
I have nothing but good things to say about this place! I moved to Michigan from Florida last year and they've been able to accommodate every need I've had. I've been to other MAT clinics and as good as some have been… nobody comes close to the atmosphere or care that is provided by AACTC.
This place has really been. Making life a little easier for me when I really needed it most
Where do I even start with these people
Transferred in from another city. All staff was very welcoming and kind. The Nurse Jamie and Receptionist Teri were especially helpful. Excellent place!!
I have been going to AACTC for MAT for 8 years of almost the whole time I've had the same amazing counselor Named Dr Harrison Igwe PHD I've been with him over 7 years he has worked here. We had 2 awesome Drs that left… idk why. But they were great I hear our new Dr is wonderful but I normally see Amanda the PA as she is in on my day I come once every 28 days. I have remained Clean thru this tough time of moving here, personal mental issues CPTSD GAD depression and ya know normal alphabet soup you get diagnosed with. Only difference is mine is all mostly from prior to starting IV Heroin at 26. I am from deep Eastside detroit up to State Fair between Schoeneer & Gratiot. Started at French & Gratiot. Now I have battle grade CPTSD on top.of the PTSD/Trauma from childhood. It's rough. Taking a medicine to keep your disease properly controlled is NOT wrong. Wish I'd have learned that 4 yrs before I have in and tried the Detroit clinics which are a WHOLE NOTHER ANIMAL compared to AACTC. They respect you if you respect them which is all anyone.wants in life. Please come join us and live!!!! It does work if you do the program right and not just as a back up if you're dope sick or your dudes out. Work the counseling you'll never stop til you're ready. Not for anyone or thing. It's hard work but now so worth my life now verses 2004. Ms Ginger RN, Myra RN Jamie RN and the front desk lady Mrs. Terri are the kindest and helpful women around.
I am alive because the Grace and mercy of Jesus. Also MAT therapy. A nurse named Mrs Jamie today was going over a paper list layed down by the computer and she even checked to make sure she had enough methadone I her… bottle before she started and she had more than enough. All the sudden she stopped and said hold on she noticed without measuring it that two of my bottles were short in like two seconds. If she wasn't watching as good as that no one wouldn't have believed me. I have painful multiple Sclerosis and she is really good. This place saves our family in so many ways too. Mrs Terry, Mr. Ryan, the doctor she is amazing. I've never been treated so good and respectful at a clinic
Well I attended comprehensive treatment and now I'm in Therapeutics, I would have to say that comprehensive treatment is a lot stricter and they care about your recovery a lot more than the usual methadone clinic, you… attend drops every week, also you going to meetings once a week and you have a hour in person with your counselor. Therapeutics there's none of that but also the recovery rate isn't good... I've been there for a year and had about four different counselors when I was at comprehensive I have one counselor from when I started until I left, but if you don't attend their meetings they will tell you you can't dose and we all know what that can cause (that was the part I did not like at comprehensive. If you can just go to rehab and avoid methadone, DO IT, he'll be getting high on methadone your entire life your bones will start hurting because it decays little by little your teeth are falling out your mouth it doesn't matter how much you brush, also get ready for sweets(donuts, ice cream chocolate?in no time you'll be overweight: be careful what you ask for, methadone is the government's drugs
Aactc has helped me change my behavior and remain clean the staff are helpful they will go above and beyond to do what they can for you as long as you do your requirements for the program. The director Ken is a fair man… he will do what he can for you but you have to be willing to meet half way and show him your trying then he will go to bat for you.Since Ken has been director the consulars seem to stay as compared to pervious directors they would be hear 1 day then gone the next. The nurse Mel is awesome she is friendly and just makes the process alot better. The secretary Terri tries to get you in and out as quick as possible she takes alot of people's frustrations because of this or that and still keeps a smile and just makes it a more enjoyable experience. Overall the staff are great and I would recommend going there if your struggling or just sick and tired of being sick and tired or just ready to get help they can definitely save your life that'd forsure
This place is great! The staff is amazing and friendly. I would recommend anyone with wanting a better life of sobriety to definitely come check this place out.
Been going here for almost 5 years. They have helped me get sober and have been very supportive of my recovery! Ken is awesome. Terry is wonderful, and my counselor Ryan has been the best counselor i have had in 5 years!
Ann Arbor is good at helping people. you can feel and really tell the staff cares for their patients.
You have to be perfect to keep your take homes I'm not kidding you got to do everything right no mistakes no life problems allowed
I'm new to this clinic and already appreciate the actual work and time put into my intake and counseling session. I previously was dosing at a clinic in Dearborn. The difference here and there is day and night. If you… really are looking for help I would recommend starting here. Some places don't fully do their jobs and it's easier to take the in and out route because lack of care, but when you see the difference of time someone puts into you yourself for the better it's WELL WORTH IT 🙏
Best clinic I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with
This place is not the place to go during the holidays! They were closed for a whole weekend and said to go to the hospital to get dosed, had a sign on their locked doors and everything. We go to the hospital and they… said the records show that you have already been dosed today(not true), come back tomorrow. So that’s what we do and everything is fine for the next few days. Mind you we drive an hour there and an hour back home every day. We do this until they open again and then return to the clinic. Then they tell us you missed all those days so now we’re dropping your dose and you have to see the doctor. Incompetent! Not even trying to help people. They have to have better communication between the hospital and the clinic. Don’t tell the patients to go to another place when your closed when you are incompetent to keep record of it! And then blame it on the patients. I would recommend going to the clinic in Jackson, because now my husband is in pain and unable to go to work and live his every day life.
I’ve guest dosed at this clinic 4 times now and every time there has been a problem on the end of my home clinic. The Ann Arbor clinic called me to verify and let me know they were missing some documentation. They… return calls when asked and made sure me and my friend got dosed. Great place
Terry is the best receptionist you will ever meet and ginger the nurse is like a month to me! And dr price my hermano is the best met doctor you can find and if you can get Mrs Christine harris as YOUR THERAPIST DO IT!… She’s amazing she worked from Detroit to Ann Arbor and will help u and be there for you whenever u need her. I LOVE YALL AND ILL MISS YALL ILL be the to visit YOURE ADOPTED SON 0848 NICO
