Never been worth a damn I've been misdiagnosed for pretty much up to a decade there. I've had medicines give me adverse side effects and just gave another pill to correct that = more side effects. One time I was talking… to the old psych Dr in the wheel chair about a proper diagnosis well she said do you want to be autistic.. then you are. Terrible terrible services state wide. It's time for a state wide over haul ive never got a proper test and I've been thru at least 10 services in Oklahoma
Here again, it could be better, it was ok the last time I was here about two weeks ago, they helped, but when the heatwave was outside, I had to sit in the heat outside at the benches, but that's ok, I'm where I need to… be at, working together would help, I'm Marisela Tk on fb.
This place is pathetic. It’s sad when these people can’t even give your loved one your number to call u nor do they ever call me on any information or updates on my brother when I’m his care giver n his medical… advocate. Last time they asked me some weird questions n acted like they was gunna keep my brother permanently. I’m absolutely disgusted with the mental health facilities in Oklahoma
Just let you know. They discuss you as a patient with staff as a part of the program. Whatever you say is not private. I reached out to them per the request. After a couple emails. I stand by my original statement.
They actually dont know its there job to help people here and treat you and anyone who cares about you like a tweaker
It's a good place.
This place I went there last year and I am trying to get back in there now. It was the best facility I’ve ever been in the nicest people who worked there and the doctors or so amazing I’m hoping they will let me come… back if they have a bed, i’ve been to other facilities and had bad experience. The only one I would be in is McAllister Carl Albert. They are the best.
I've been with Carl albert outpatient for 3 1/2 years.every six months I've asked to switch teams and get off purple team. They have refused.they can't communicate, they lack compassion and comprehension. They lack any… real knowledge to do the job at hand.they look to disrespect you and violate the laws and policies set forth to govern them. I've asked repeatedly for years to speak with the out patient supervisor just to be refused. So after 3 years I go to the main building to make a complaint with Rachel, she falsified everything I told her and manipulated the situation, she lied to Debbie about everything I said. Carl Albert ended my services over the complaint. Debbie saying you've been on 3 teams in 3 years your not a good fit..I've been on purple team the whole time. Put it to a lie detector. Carl albert falsified my original intake paperwork, so Angie falsified my new intake paperwork by using the original to finally transfer me to green team after 3+ years of asking. Angie angry at the complaint made falsified and created a situation to have my services canceled instead helping..she got personally, disrespectful, and vengeful, treating me a very hostile manner. When all I did is ask for respect..Angie claims she's never even seen me before, I've been with Carl albert for 3+years, Angie only 2 and I've asked to speak with her for 2 years, she never once in 2 years even returned my phone call. Carl Albert can't communicate, not from staff member to staff member nor to clients. They don't actually look to help. The individual(s) that schedule the appointments for the doctor do so without you knowledge or consent and refuse to send out a reminder call so you miss appointments you never knew you had. They refuse to call you to schedule an appointment. They will give you tablets without showing you how to work them, outpatient hasn't had land lines in 3+ years.they aren't good at responding nor reaching out. Since being at carl albert I've suppose to see my counselor twice a week I'm lucky if it's twice a month let alone once a month. Let alone they cancel your appointment without telling you. No communication, I've asked for 3+ years for carl albert to help me find another provider that accepts sooner care here locally. Medicad for my age group and they have flat out just not done it. Yet Debbie claims I'm not a good fit because I've been on 3 teams in 3 years thus I need to go elsewhere and end my services.ive been on purple team for 3+ years from the very beginning. Nice job at falsifying information. Like you did my file, mental illnesses, intake, the amount of out patient teams I've been on, my complaint etc etc..ya'll don't listen. No wonder mcalester's mentally ill mortality rate is so high, between wrongful deaths with the police department, ODs and suicides. Nobody here can get any help. What if said I record on my phone when I go to carl albert because what they do is illegal. Rachel claims I called the doctors incompetent, despite not using that word, but I will now. Rachel you are incompetent and ought to be fired. The sexism, hate, discrimination and hostility I've received by Debbie, Rachel and Angie is absolutely 100% despicable and illegal.for them to continue to falsifie information let alone put words into my mouth to justify how poorly of a service they run and justify their actions speaks volumes. The amount of hate I've received by outpatient is absolutely absurd especially by Angie, who claims I've never met her because she's never seen me, despite the fact I've been with Carl albert longer then see has. She been there for 2 years I've only been asking for her for 2 years, she has never returned a single phone call in 2 years. She is part of the problem. But instead of fixing the issue she made it personal and even threatened to call the cops when all I was saying is to treat me with respect. She yelled at me while claiming I was the one who was being loud..what if I said it was all recorded. Ya'll screwed up. I will be filling a formal complaint, I will be spreading my testimony
I love Barbra, she's the best consoler
Went at 19 should have just never came in the first place. Don’t bring your family member here if you actually care about them.
4th time I went to the crisis care center at carl albert they were very rude to me and the police, they said they had more important people that really needed to be there, like I don't matter, I guess, me taking… medicine is for attention and imaginary, I rather have died than go there, I'm in norman now, if I had any other mental problems, I probably would never go to another hospital again, because other people need the space, not me, I rather die, They don't care about you, I don't even like police,
They have made a big difference in my quantity of life. Thank you.
Very kind and friend stuff, good meal. Clean facilities. Group classes are good, maybe more activities. Doctor is fine.
I had put in a good review for this place at one point, I take it all back. The adult facility is good; but all the children's facilities have poor communication internally, poor communication with the parents, push… mental health drugs on pre-teens and treat the parents with complete disrespect. The first time they did something absurdly upsetting in regard to my child, I wrote it off as an individual caregiver, but it's clearly a problem that stems from higher up because the issues are consistent across therapists/aids
Went here for about 3 years for outpatient therapy and group therapy. The groups mostly were for older people so always felt very out of place. The regular counseling appointments I had that were one on one never really… helped me cause they'd only spend 15-30 minutes with me and always acted like it was an inconvenience that I was there. As soon as I'd get to know my therapist, they'd change me to a different color team and my therapist would get changed. They always wanted me to video chat on zoom with my psychologist to get meds changed or see how they were working. The nurse who draws blood, I think her name is Guardey or Gordy, is extremely hateful and mean. She tried many separate times and separate appointments to draw my blood and was never successful and always made me feel like it was my fault she couldn't do her job. There was another therapist that was so rude she made me and my sister cry. The only good thing about this place was the lunches they'd give during group therapy and the sweet front desk ladies. I really hope it will change someday. Mental health matters.
Why did the bald headed psychologist tell me people would think I'm weird or odd. I've had alot of trauma in my life and feel the psychologist was out of line for saying that to me. I'm use to people saying negative… stuff to me though.
they were all extremely rude and the place had a stench that smelled like rotten eggs. the therapist was very unpleasant and had bad breath would not recommend
Place is a joke
The lady's are very very nice at carlobert
Not just bad for clients but for employees as well. My wife kept getting pulled into drama by the case managers. She went to her supervisor and the building supervisor to resolve the issue but instead they attacked her… and then got her fired when they found out so was filing an hr complaint. Dirty place full of dirty people. My wife was on the phone with a dhs worker the lady actually congratulated her for not being there anymore! Do not recommend if you can afford otherwise.
The People that work there aren't very professional.
They have failed my younger sister her therapist rewards her for bad behaviors. My sister needed to get put someone to get help but they keep backing out and saying she dont qualify for any help and she needs help in a… bad way.
Excellent service. Saved my friends life
Love this place ❤
They completely dropped the ball for My kid. Do not recommend
They are all a blessing!!! No pressure, so much support!! Thank you all so very much for helping me and continuing to help me on my healing journey ❤️ 💖
Havent had a good experience been trying to go to them for the better part of 2 months now and their solutions are pills and jesus. Cant ever get them to answer their phones so i can get the meds they prescribed to me… because theres always an issue at my pharmacy regarding their services and the meds im given. If you need help this place probably isnt for you.
