About CenterPointe – Omaha
CenterPointe operates in Omaha. The site sits in Douglas County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. The practical catchment runs wider than the city limits, taking in people who travel in rather than finding care on their doorstep. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Residential treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at CenterPointe
Residential treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Residential runs both short and long term, so the question at intake is which length the assessment points toward. Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together.

CenterPointe Address, Location and Contact Information
The service is based in Omaha, NE 68102, in Douglas County. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity. It is worth checking which entrance to use and where parking sits before a first appointment.
Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Interpreting services including ASL are available on request. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip.

CenterPointe Reviews and Ratings

Yep
Most of the post I see are from people who came and failed the program or a family member who is upset their family chose to walk out. Center pointe is a great place that’s helping people recover and get their lives… back , it’s up to the individual to take accountability and work to make their lives better . Everything they need is there.
This place is a joke. An absolute excuse of a treatment center. The staff “loses” medication on a daily. There’s no cameras in the facility. Including the tv room where guys and girls are allowed to be at the same time.… Their clients have no black out period. Can use the phone and go on passes right away upon arrival. They don’t observe their clients taking UAs. ZERO accountability. An ROI was signed for me and when I call up there about the person who signed it they said we cannot confirm or deny if they’re here. I told them about the ROI that was signed and asked them to verify it. They said they couldn’t. Lazy. Worthless. Ridiculous. NEVER go here. This place should be shut down and if I can have any part in making that happen I will. If it would have let me give them ZERO stars, I would have! P.S. get a handle on your clients! I’d call down there and complain about a male client that keeps harassing my gf but everyone that “works” there is entirely too lazy to do ANYTHING about ANYTHING! Get it together!
Security issue!! My fiancé. It is supposed to be securely locked up and this weekend. I've got a few texts from him which he claims is not him. And how could he if he is not allowed to have a phone? And it is supposedly… locked in a room where staff only has access. So he does not have access to his phone until he leaves the building for appointments and such. So someone on the staff has been using his phone and texting me his fiancé. This is a security breach and a serious problem. I will be looking into it contacting the appropriate authorities. I this is unacceptable. Your items are supposed to be private locked up and taken care of not fingered through and used by staff. I only have one other concern as of why a staff member would Ihave done this. Staff was very uncooperative when I called them to address this issue. They kept me on hold. They hung up on me. They took very minimal information. Not even my phone number. I am very upset at the fact that this has gone on in a place. Of reform rehab mental rehab, drug addiction rehab. This is not the kind of staff that these people need. I would appreciate somebody to give me a call before.I have to call them again.\nAlso be calling probation officers , drug court officers , judges to let them know what kind of staff they have working at one of the rehab centers they go through.
The bhts taught more groups than the counselors. No rules, accountability, they had me leading and teaching a group I should of had a license to teach. The nurse was stationed in Lincoln, we didn't watch the clients… when they did their UAs... total poop show
Trying to get clean !? This is not the place for you . Easy under staff running 2 staff to 30 patients when it's supposed to be 1 dtaff per 5 patients . They alllow people to actively use drugs in their building .… People get caught with m3th and alcohol drunk on campus ect... and they let them stay and come back then they do it again and they let them stay. A girl gets caught with k2 and a kid a 1/2 oz of m3th and fake pee. And that was our neighbor and he tried to say it was us that gave him which is no where close to true . His friend brought it in and they new the girl brought it in another patient . So he allowed the people who had the drugs and failed the tests stay and they tried to blame myself and others saying we got it for them and we were clean UA and never they found nothing on us in our room on texts so clearly they just beilived someone who got caught with drugs over someone who's passed every test . Ryan is very sexist and power trips he makes the men be little them Selfs and say things to him before we can be dismissed or get to tasty . He would lie and say oh rainbow and Desiree said u did this when that was a lie because she brought the m3th into the campus but wen off hear say instead of the video proof they had that I was innocent . Ever sense Ryan carruthers tried to touch my inappropriately I became a target of abuse and eventually he got me kicked out and sent to jail . Which thank god was greatest thing ever kept me away from his predatory actions and got me off papers I'm a free man an over 14 months clean . Today no thanks to center pointe campus for hope who cause me more trama . And the nurse got fired for sleeping with patients and co workers and her car tires got slashed twice at work . How professional . And would sneak things in . Sick one day sneaks to my room and closes door if anyone find out I'm in heee and brought u this Red Bull and meds they wouldn't give u i can lose my job. Then 2 other staff quit and was actively using while at work and another staff fired for stealing Benzos from a patients med supply . Be careful don't go there unless u have to
The nurse there shouldn't even be able to be a nurse very rude and unprofessional took wife in for detox of alcohol addiction and she blew to high to stay and nurse says to me, "maybe she shouldn't of drank like that"!… It's called addiction she has no control over it!!! Why do you think she is there to get help. Then says she to high abc to be there it's to dangerous but tells me to take her home even though she has dangerous levels!!! I never in my life have been turned down so much for help no wonder why people stay addicts no good help. How she talked and come about it was totally wrong and rude. Obviously don't know how addiction works.
When I visited a family member here, the facility was welcoming and Latoya was friendly, positive and comforting, and helpful to both families and residents.
It’s one thing not being given your prescribed mental health medication if it’s just an isolated incident. But 4 times? I can’t say it’s all bad but this medication thing is unacceptable. Imagine the care they’d put… into making sure all clients had meds if they had a suicide on their hands.
Place allows drug use with minimal re-enforcement. I've seen people bring drugs in, share with others, leave and be back a month later. Just terrible.
All the staff therapist everyone who works there is great. This place helped me in alot of ways that I didn't know I needed and also helped me learn more about myself and also coping skills that I can use when I feel… like using/drinking
6 years sober and I could not have done it if it were not for the staff and the people here. Thank you for giving my life back.
I have been thru the short term program here and at the time it was an amazing experience. I remained sober for several months. However I had to go back through again because after getting sober off of alcohol I quickly… found out my mental health was a mess and relapsed. I went back in almost exactly 60 days after graduating STR to go through long term to come back and find that half of the staff had either been fired or quit and it was a completely different environment than I had left. The behavioral health tech's have a very high turn over rate and it seemed to me that they got rid of everyone there that truly cared and was there for the right reasons for completely random off the street people. I actually had more clean time than a behavioral health tech that worked with me. They do not offer one on one therapy even though they say they do it will just happen that you will not see your counselor for several weeks unless you have Heather. Even the counselor/supervisor Tanesha did not see me once in the almost 3 weeks I was there. And I absolutely advocated for myself and was very vocal about what I needed and was going through. Then when I messed up they were quick to kick me out. The programs absolutely have the right idea and are strategically set up correctly, however it is not adhered to and that leaves A LOT of cracks to fall through. But like I said 1 experience was great and one awful. The food is amazing and like I said the program is set up correctly they absolutely have the right idea. It's just a toss up on staff and peers and your own willingness whether you will succeed here in my opinion. I often think of my time there and hope that they have figured out there staffing issues, have gotten some counselors and BHT's with strong ideals and devoted to there job and the kinks have been worked out. Because like I said this program really does have an amazing structure and if they could get the issues figured out and stick to a structure it would be 5 star without a doubt.
The CEO is amazing. The people he trusts to run his buildings and programs are sneaky and manipulative. It is a good ol buddy system, friends of friends. The treatment of their staff is horrible. There is a disconnect… between the Administrative offices in Lincoln and with the Center in Omaha.
comin back soon cause i dont trust any other place.
Terrible experience. My "counselor " only met with me once over the course of a month. Treatment from the medical staff was atrocious. NO covid protocol and I contracted the virus there.
They charge so much each day to be there fine but then charge if you want coffee or sugar, creamer.
This place helped me greatly to become a new man and to finally have hope. They honestly care about people. Never again will I be who I was. I'm stronger now.
Great people
This place is the best thing to have happened to me. I would have killed my self and wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the staff here. If you let them they will help you .
It place of recovery.
