Chemical Dependency Treatment Servs – Syracuse Detox and Rehab Services

Chemical Dependency Treatment Servs – Syracuse is recorded as offering intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.

Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

I've been with Crouse 's Opioid Treatment Program for Methadone Maintenance Therapy for over 8 years straight now. This is by far the best option I have experienced which is why] I have stuck with it. The staff are all… professional, well-trained/experienced, empathetic and, willing to work with you without any pre-conceptions of your situation (whatever that be). It was open at the old location since the 1970s and 1 of the oldest clinics in the U.S. They have excellent services, on premise nursing & hep c treatment, peers, help with housing & legal & career/schooling, there are certain free risk management supplies available and their by far the most tolerant and therapeutic environment for treatment. They dose ppl in local jail and can get ur dose while ur at a hospital or long term facility. They offer up to 2 mont- of take homes with good behavior and early dosing if ur schedule needs it. They even have night groups and split dosing for qualified/needing patients. The counselors really go to bat for the patients as well as the nurses. There is also psych. care available on premise. They don't allow b.s. like fighting and drama or any other stupidity... In my experience if someone is not being tapered at the speed the patient wants it is because they have a standard medical taper for people who can no longer attend for causing trouble with their fellow patients &/or neighboring businesses.... Aside from that I would be highly suspect of anyone claiming otherwise as this clinic is run by one of the most reputable hospitals for healthcare in New York State and has many programs reputable throughout the country.

I have been on the methadone program for a year here. I have had no issues at all. I cannot get take homes doses after being clean for months because I use cannabis. I’ve heard they are “working on it” but we will see.… Recommend this after the stories I hear at other places. It’s also a semi-new, clean building ( could be more clean if patients are more considerate)

No wait to join methadone outpatient program. Drug and trauma counseling. Safe with on-site security. Singles and nurses on staff.

If you have that feeling again of being stuck, take this as the sign you needed. A year ago I was so badly off that my organs were failing- it was a commitment, but Crouse outpatient helped me in so many ways that I… didn’t expect. If something doesn’t work, try something else, it doesn’t matter as long as you get healthy again. You’ve got this!

Notorious for dischargeing patients on high level maintenance without a taper. Population control at its finist. Over the past 2 years I have watched these ppl hold doses over patients drop doses as well as discharge… ppl on doses well over 100 without a taper. This place and the ppl that run it are disgusting

Such a huge beautiful necessary & appreciated upgrade from the OLD 410 S. Crouse building that was falling apart & small.

Amazing MMT program (methadone maintenance treatment). This program has completely turned my life around and without it I would almost certainly be dead. Professional nurses and counselors who will work with you to form… an individualized plan for your personal journey towards recovery. Very accommodating as far as appointments go, and also will work out a sliding scale payment plan for patients who don't have insurance. The staff can also help new patients apply for Medicaid. Overall, the staff are great and really want to see their clients succeed!! Also the wait list is very short! ( Less than a month)

Anna and Becky o hara were the best two female counseling people I had there as they both dont qork there now 😪.. there's other good staff..yes can be a pain in the butt to go everyday but it dose save lives and helps.… The only hard thing about the web site is that I couldn't find the number to call it doesn't give that option on there front page 🙄

Out of all the clinics Ive been to, 410 crouse has been the worst. The red tape they put up does more to hurt clients than it does help them. They will lower your dose as a punishment to any which one of their thousand… rules that are in place for no legitimate reason. Do yourself a favor and find a different clinic to attend.
