About Community Medical Services – Missoula

Community Medical Services operates from 2415 South Catlin Street in Missoula. The site sits in Missoula County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Bonner-West Riverside, East Missoula and Lolo. Montana draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.

Outpatient care is delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, an opioid treatment program and telehealth appointments. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Treatment Services at Community Medical Services

Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Buprenorphine and methadone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen.

The address is 2415 South Catlin Street, Missoula, MT 59801, in Missoula County. The catchment reaches Bonner-West Riverside, East Missoula and Lolo. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.

I completed a clinical rotation at CMS as a nursing student, and I was completely blown away by their work here! It's clear that they care deeply about each and every one of their patients, and the staff are kind,… compassionate, and incredibly thoughtful. I would, hands down, recommend them for anybody searching for effective, supportive treatment. 5 stars from me!

Korin Three years ago, I went to Korin for help…. I was struggling, a lot, and wasn’t sure what I was gonna do, but I went and saw her her and all of a sudden my life got better. She helped me through the process and… also helped me with what I needed to do to get through that process, I’m telling you right now if there’s anything or anybody that can help you, she’s the one!! I’m so thankful for her. She saved my life.!!!!

I have been coming for ten years and it's been full of up & downs but after ten years, I can happily say I am in the best place in my life and I owe, if not all of it, most of it to Korin, Dr. Parsons and ALL the Great… People of CMS !!! If it wasn't for all these Great People and this program, I for sure would NOT be here. God Bless & Thank All of You soo Much !!! 🙏 ,Jayson

Medical community got me addicted to pain meds and this place is helping me. Everyone cares from the front desk, managers, drs and nurses. I have never seen anyone treated poorly or rudely. They really care here. Not… too busy and a stark contrast to places in Seattle that seem to keep you sick and frustrated. Thank you everyone, I love you ❤️

This place has changed my life. Having the opportunity to be free from even wanting to use substances is a blessing and a relief. My counselor Korin is the most amazing person and has helped me in many different ways.… She is a big part of my life and goes above and beyond her duties to make sure that I am doing well. Being able to be connected with medical and mental health providers all inclusively has really helped my mental health as well; I am in the best space I have ever been.

They are the most helpful people I have ever dealt with...the staff have always been extremely nice and I have never seen them be anything but nice to any other patient's...

Have been working with cms for a few years now finally clean and making progress towards being able to taper off the meds and continue with the tools I've gained from counseling and the Dr to continue to be successful… with no substances in my life.

Very professional, excellent counselors (Heidi is an exemplary employee & important asset to this company's image), but just lousy waiting room: hard, uncomfortable chairs, harsh lighting, no coffee or donuts/cheap… snacks, oh well.

Beyond terrible place. They will treat you like garbage here. All the staff members are pos lol I have private paid for over a year and with that, I’ve gotten into damn near screaming matches with all of them for… playing weird games, talking down to me and other clients. I’ve gone to HR twice to report them (which does absolutely nothing) they DO NOT care about you or your rehabilitation. These people want you to get upset, they want you to snap, you are just another number in the line of “bums”. Beyond unprofessional, degrading nonsense. Switch to Ideal Option. Because screw this place. Don’t believe me? Give it one week you’ll see lol

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I feel like an actual human being because everyone from the Dr, to the councilors, to the staff in front and in back ALWAYS treat me with kindness, and respect. I'm happy to have… found a place where I'm not made to feel guilty for seeking help. Thank you! You're a GODSEND, a place of Grace.

One of the best clinics I've ever been to. Very nice people, I love the fact they stay open until 1PM because I have to drive a 4 hour drive every Monday to get there. Overall happy with their services.

This outfit is simply a sham commercial enterprise, they charge 50-100 times the generic cost of drugs like Suboxone, provide no real services at all other than taking advantage of persons suffering from Opiod… withdrawals that their doctors have cut loose. You

Rachel Burkhart9 years ago

Well for the most part they have made a lot of improvements over the past year, but unfortunately they still have a dosing nurse (frannie) who instead of giving great customer service like the rest of the staff, she… plays favorites with clients, socializing with them WHILE DOSING SOMETIMES FOR 15 MINUTES PER CLIENT. TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE AND RUDE MAKING EVERYONE WAIT AND LATE! She is so unprofessional and inconsistent I really think she must have failed nursing school and this was the only job she can get.
