About Community Resource Center – Vandalia

Community Resource Center is located at 421 West Main Street in Vandalia, within 9.3 miles of Brownstown and Mulberry Grove. Anyone within about 12 miles can reach it without a major journey, which takes in Brownstown, Mulberry Grove, Vernon and Bingham. Vandalia sits in Fayette County, and the county’s own provision is limited enough that this site draws from a wide area.

Services run to intensive outpatient and outpatient care. SAMHSA holds the federal registration; the Illinois Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery the state license. Approved medication runs alongside counseling, which is what medication-assisted treatment means in practice. Co-occurring conditions are handled concurrently rather than one after the other. Some contact can happen by video rather than in person. Trauma-focused work forms part of the approach.

Community Resource Center – Vandalia Detox and Rehab Services

Community Resource Center – Vandalia delivers intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. What suits one person will not suit another, so ask directly. It is reasonable to ask how progress is reviewed and by whom.

The record shows integrated treatment rather than one problem then the other. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask what the assessment recommends before comparing anything else. Waiting times vary, so it is worth asking at the first call.

absolutely terrible that this is all our children have for options. their counselor "sarah" is not equipped to be a counselor for children. if you have children and enjoy your rights as a parent stay away from here.
