Creative Change Counseling – Trenton Detox and Rehab Services
Creative Change Counseling – Trenton is recorded as offering intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

Creative Change Counseling – Trenton Address, Location and Contact Information
The site is at 3525 Quakerbridge Road in Trenton, New Jersey, 8619. The city lies within Mercer County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. If the first call does not reach anyone, try again at a different time of day rather than assuming the service is closed.

Creative Change Counseling – Trenton Reviews and Ratings
A review of Creative Change Counseling does not need to be long. If you were a patient or a family member, a few plain sentences on what went well, and what you wish you had known beforehand, will help the next reader.
I have been in counseling for many years and this is one of the most unprofessional places I had ever been to. The 2 therapists I received were no where near qualified to treat a person with ptsd. In fact, the last… therapist assigned to me said such messed up things to me about my abuser that I blacked out and I quickly ended my treatment at this place. I had a friend going here as well and she went through 3 different therapists because they kept leaving and NOW this place decided to suddenly close its doors next week and only let people know a few days ago. Not transitioning clients to new treatment within a reasonable amount of time is malpractice.
To help counsel and serve people who have addictions.
This place should be investigated by the FBI or whichever government branch monitors IOPs! I left the program 2 months ago due to how poor of a program it became after the previous director and 3, yes 3 therapists left.… They are STILL fraudulently billing my health benefits! How do they get away with this? Do not make the mistake of trusting this establishment.
I’d like to preface this review and say Gina, Nancy, and Chrissy are absolutely wonderful. I will carry on going to Creative Change because Nancy really takes the time to listen and answer any questions. 10 stars for… the three of them. However. I want to express my frustration with the substance abuse team. It is a lucky thing I wanted help and sobriety for myself, because I had to do it myself. Had I been in active detox, a trip to the ER would have been necessary. Other than Brian, negative stars. I had a crisis and a lapse in my sobriety and decided to refer myself to their IOP. I had to call and email many times (more than 10) to get Markus to call me back. We had exactly one phone conversation and no follow up. Our phone call cut off at the end and he didn’t even call me back? Jerome. Where do I start. I had two appointments back to back with Jerome for an initial eval/to sign paperwork. He fell asleep during our first appointment (that he didn’t know we had scheduled). I can look past that as we’ve all had those days. However. Jerome never had the courtesy to give me a start date for IOP. He never reached out. We literally signed that I was starting and then he disappeared. Thank GOODNESS I am old enough and wise enough to seek medical intervention if need be. It concerns me that there was absolutely zero follow up here. I will not be seeking IOP services with creative change any longer, and had this been a true emergency I would not entrust my family or friends with their substance abuse department. I recommend Princeton House tenfold for substance abuse treatment.
This place is very poorly run. First of all they never answer the damn phone. Like seriously how hard is it? My son has been bounced around from therapist to therapist 3 times now. After the last guy left, it's been… over two months since he has seen someone and their communication is terrible. If my child's well-being was a priority then they have failed him. Now I have to start the long process of finding him a new place to go. What a disappointment this place is.
VERY PROFESSIONAL.
I am really appreciative to Stacy Wolff Director of Peer Recovery. She takes the time to help and guide me through these rough times I am having in my early sobriety. I am so happy I am going to creative change because… it's people like her that work at creative change that makes me want to go back to IOP each day. To me she is amazing and I love her energy. She's so passionate about what she does and it definitely shows. Thank you Stacy Wolff for caring so much!
Great place! Support comfortable place to be around and all of the staff is absolutely incredible.
Great place
When you share your story(the good, the traumatic, & everything in between) with a therapist you truly have to be 100% comfortable with the individual. The process will not properly serve you otherwise. My therapist… Nastasya at Creative Change Counseling is amazing. I’ve been in therapy on & off since a young child & no one has ever asked me to make a list to have ready for our next session on ways I can put myself first until now. I exhaled some when closing out of our first session which was new for me. It’s not just sessions on me venting(though that’s ok too) but it’s about growing as a person & being heard..It’s about voicing traumas & finding a place to put them that you can visit them when/if you want/need to while not allowing it to weigh you down in a negative way daily. Nastasya is compassionate, empathetic, attentive, non judgmental, reliable, & extremely easy to talk to. She validates my experiences without any judgement at all & shows genuine concern for my well being while actively listening and reflecting back what I’ve said. These qualities are very important to me when sharing such personal & private moments with a therapist. The place is also very nice and they offer a gym for clients to use, a game room, a movie room,& more. Their priority is definitely mental health and wellness and it shows! I feel blessed to have found a therapist as stellar as Nastasya & I highly recommend her and the safe space she’s created for me at Creative Change Counseling! It’s definitely something I’m putting on my list to continue doing to put myself first! 10 Stars in my book!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This place is great, Creative Change, I have a very nice, understanding, compassionate therapist named Nastasya and the other therapists that I met were just as nice. They even have a place for the kiddos when you're in… session, a playroom, a huge movie theater and the gym if you want to work out. Everyone I met is very nice and have been very flexible with my schedule so if you need a place to start this would be a great first step!!! 😁
Creative change is like finding a rare diamond in a world that is full of hate. This is a safe space for those in recovery. They offer an amazing gym with great workout equipment and free yoga classes. They have an… incredible game and movie room, they also offer some amazing meetings for all needs.I am so grateful 🙏🏽 this place has become my new safe haven. Thank you to all the staff.
Sarah it's a great receptionist. You will be welcomed from the door. The building is pristine and smells so good. Bathrooms always clean. Angela has been wonderful from the start. DIVERSITY MATTERS!! She's got a great… thing going but my goodness it's Hit or miss with therapists. 8 assigned in 2 years. The only consistency is you're going to have to start with another soon and don't expect that the one you were told you're assigned to knows that you've been signed to them. They just don't stay. For children, don't expect therapists to take parents concerns seriously. Do not sign a release to allow therapist to speak with other services without you present but don't think they won't do it without consent anyway. Do not expect privacy; they will have no problem speaking out in the open floor about you and treatment with other therapists. Therapists will tell you that they don't need your money and that you've waisted their time if you don't engage right away and will tell you that it's unprofessional if you text to confirm appointment. You will be patronized. If you feel you're being looked down on, you are. Everyone will smile to your face. You will be left to sit 40+minutes and will not be notified if your therapist doesn't show. Stay away from Jerome and Monyae. The other don'ts are already gone. If you try and they make you feel a certain kind of way, go with your gut. It'll get worse. YOUR MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS!!! YOU MATTER!!!! The mother of a therapist that works in the Mt Laurel office calling with the survey is the light of the world!! She will breath life into you. -My first hand accounts here are still better than with Catholic Charities.
I can't stress enough what an amazing place this is,most importantly the staff too.I attend at least 3 times a week. That includes SMART meetings, Trauma group therapy and Refuge meetings. Love their workshops (art) as… well.Shout outs to Nikki,Michelle, Brandon,Eric and Kevin!
I love it here , the intake process goes smooth with Sara and Michelle . The therapists are amazing (Kim , Richard ) . And the gatherings they have are so fun!! They focus on what you really need taken care of and… actually listen to your needs. Thank you creative change! :)
This place is amazing! Courteous, friendly & very customer oriented. Special shout out to the receptionist who always make me feel comfortably welcomed & satisfied as a client. I highly recommend this place!! ❤️
Creative Change Counseling is a gem in the community, the building is very clean and staff is wonderful to work with. They have been so kind to provide a safe place for anyone in recovery to go to attend activities and… meetings, and socialize. They have 2 meeting rooms, a gym, and a movie theater. Definitely worth checking out and supporting, as they are providing a great service to the community.
I have been to Creative Change alot of times for various events wether it's for a meeting such as the Recovery bible meeting or a Garden themed brunch, or an outdoor community event, all have been very fulfilling, Sara… is usually the first face I would see and I'm always greeted with a huge genuine smile, she makes you feel right at home , always willing to help ina by way she can. It's nice to have such a place to go to and feel welcome, and I always get something beneficial out of each time
Creative change counseling has a tremendous impact on the community they serve, an amazing place for a Rec Center, dedicated Employees who know what they are doing. I’d recommend to anyone!
I’ve been to Creative Change a couple times, for an amazing recovery outreach event and a meeting, both times I had a great experience! Their staff is super friendly, Sara made me feel welcomed with her positive… attitude and her professionalism. Would recommend to all friends and family!
Michelle is an amazing therapist/person. I highly recommend her.
I have referred a couple people here and they were able to coordinate their intake with Sara at the front desk she was well informed about the program and super nice to them. They love their therapist Monyae and I hear… nothing but good things about the director Angela. Awesome program. They also have a peer recovery center a few doors down which is an awesome resource that was needed in this community.
