Their patient portal app is controlled by an outside source that changed the name of the DIAGNOSIS/DIAGNOSES area to PROBLEMS. I no longer felt comfortable using this app for my appointment that day and my therapist… doesn’t do in person appointments. I was told that “I’m impeding my own therapy by finding reasons to be upset just as I’m making headway with a therapist” by my therapist. We only had 3 sessions. I had Alyssa Katz as my therapist for 7 years… no issues. Olivia Plunkett for nearly a year… no problems. I’m moving forward with a positive attitude though and I’m excited to be assigned a new therapist. Dr. Chambliss, everyone at the front desk and the employees in the pharmacy are wonderful! UPDATE: It has been over a month since I left this review and I’ve still not been assigned a new therapist. I feel as if I’m being punished for asking to be reassigned. I’ve been treated by Creative Health for 15+ years now and I’m medicated so I need to be seen by a therapist legally twice a year, I believe. This is completely unprofessional and dangerous to do to mentally ill patients… just medicate them but offer no therapy. My next med check is in July. I’ll be addressing this matter with Dr. Chambliss as I am mentally ill to the point of disability. You’d think they’d prioritize someone on several meds with my history, but you’d be mistaken. UPDATE 6/26: I haven’t had a therapist since the end of March. I’ve left 3 voicemails this week with the department that assigns therapists to verify and confirm that I am in fact on a waiting list to be assigned a therapist. I called today asking if I could actually speak to someone in that department instead of just automatically getting their voicemail and having to leave a message every time I call and wait to no avail. I was told that the people who work in this incredibly crucial department for an outpatient mental healthcare facility only assign patients therapists on WEDNESDAYS! I was told that if I’m not reassigned in 3-4 weeks to call back. UPDATE 7/21/26: My 3 star rating has been changed to a 1 star rating. Dr. Chambliss not only showed up 16 minutes late for our 15 minute video appointment, but he also mocked me and criticized me for not wanting to do EMDR therapy on their app with the therapist I mentioned previously in my review here saying “you cancelled your appointment because they changed the name of the diagnosis section to problems?” As if it wasn’t a big deal my need to feel safe and secure using their app for literal trauma therapy, which they changed since. They hate you if you advocate for yourself. He asked me about what’s going on in my life at the beginning of our appointment because he certainly can’t ask me how therapy is going since I haven’t had a therapist since the end of March. I tell him what is going on with me not being reassigned yet and mention him also only giving me 2 refills on one of my meds when my other 3 meds had 3 refills. He said it was intentional that he didn’t make a mistake and talked over me for the majority of the rest of our rushed appointment saying “any irritability outside of Creative Health?” As if my concerns about how I’m being treated and not being treated doesn’t matter to him. I must just be crazy and irritated about everything in life, right? That’s how it felt when he said it. He talked over me causing me to instinctively speak louder as I’m desperately advocating for myself and my mental health and then told me we’d have to reschedule our appointment for another day when I can be calm. This is how he speaks to someone with C-PSTD, severe OCD and ADHD with a history of suicide attempts. It feels abusive. He told me to complain to the government about it. I haven’t had any attempts or self harm issues in nearly 14 years and I sincerely worry about his other patients who may still be in a self destructive place like people being assigned to him right out of the psych ward. This place is dangerous and no one in the company on a higher level who can do anything about it cares.
Didn’t like anything about it for my child another cash in insurance place and ignorant case workers
For 2 weeks I have called to try to get help, all I needed to know was insurance acceptance nobody called me back I left voicemails, and now today im told “We’re not taking new clients” GEE could’ve told me that 2 weeks… ago so im not wasting my time, Absolutely crap company clearly they don’t care about anything but money or they would return a phone call
I have had nothing but bad experiences with this place. And I have been taking all the proper steps to make sure I report this location. When you treat patients like crap. Even worse mental helath patients like crap.… Full scale accountability should come down on you. If I have to be the one to make sure they are held accountable. Welp ill be their worst nightmare. Do not bother unless you absolutely have too. This place has employed horrible people who will treat you like crap and laugh as they torment your loved ones. Who are already vulnerable individuals with mental health. This location needs to just shut down and re staff. This place is 100% committing crimes. Needs to be investigated. To be clear everything i have experienced has been toward my under aged children which is even more disgusting. They target your children just to make you upset. Ps for all the others who are writing reviews how the front staff purposely gives you the wrong time. So that you miss appointment. Just ao you know this is a violation of patient rights under constitute patient abandonment or unprofessional conduct, which absolutely violates your patient rights. If you need help to go about report them to help the investigation into this place contact me. Ill give you the info where you can inform the right people of your experiences. Even if its something else. Im sure your rights were violated by this place. You deserve better!
Years of competent compassionate care. Robin, on the front desk, is always unflappable, efficient and courteous. The nurse, Kay, manages to do my vitals check quickly and carefully. (The coffee situation could use some… improvement) But otherwise, attending this facility has brought positive changes to my life.
Dr Chambliss is amazing. Dr Chambliss makes things right. Excellent dr. I'm blessed. On the other hand, Savannah Maxwell (therapist) is condescending, unprofessional and does not respect patient privacy. Also, cuts… EVERY session 10-15 mins short.
Waste of time - they don't really wanna help. Rope ya in and ya spend hours there just for them to then say they have no availability unless you leave work but yet your bills already cant get paid. They dont care how… shitty you feel
They cancelled my daughters appointment after I was very clear not to she has insurance. She didn’t find the insurance even though she told me to bring in her card. Wasted of time
My first therapist here, sydney kramer, told me she didn’t know how to help me because all my issues “are internal”. It took them months to assign me a new therapist after that and i still haven’t seen her yet. My… psychiatrist, wilmarie montero-negron, never has any availability. it’s always at least 6 weeks in between appointments even if you need to see her sooner than that. and the people at the front desk do nothing to help you. i asked if they could let me know if she had any cancellations and they told me no they can’t.
If I could less stars I would. This place is a joke. Rescheduling appointments when we are there. Taking hours longer than they said.. and i mean HOURS! I tried calling and just keeping getting transfered and voice… mails.
The front desk who picked up the phone today on Feb 17 at 2:30 was really rude and not being helpful
Months ago, when I first started planning on moving, I got an ESA from Shawn Aikens for my two pets. When I first got the letter it only said one animal, despite having multiple conversations with him about both… animals. Georgina was awful to me, saying that’s not how it was done ect ect. She’s not even a doctor or anything, she’s literally just the records lady. I finally got her to talk to him and he changed it, no problem. Then I noticed the other issue, something I had been SUPER clear about multiple times. If there is more than one animal on an ESA letter you have to say which pet helps with which condition. Georgina scoffed at me and refused to have anything done about it. She said “I’ve seen tons of these and they’re never like that.” So I gave up and figured she must know best. Boy was I wrong. Petscreening has sent my profile back for THAT EXACT REASON which is clearly defined under HUD guidelines. This was right before the July 4th weekend. Well Georgina is on vacation until past the holiday. And even if Shawn, the prescriber, writes a letter it wont matter because it has to go through her. She was supposed to be back Wednesday, so I called Wednesday. Guess what? She decided to extend her vacation so I’m told to wait longer. Today is the last day I was given by the company to update my profile before it’s rejected. If it’s rejected I lose my apartment because my dog is over the weight limit. When I started panicking I was told to calm down and that it isn’t their fault that I needed something last minute. If the letter had been written the way I told them it needed to be based on the guidelines I read this wouldn’t be happening. My whole life will crumble because no one wanted to listen and no one was empathetic enough to care. Both my therapist and psychiatrist at this office never even so much as returned my message. Do not trust anyone here. UPDATE: Shawn doesn’t feel like he should have too so he wont. I wiil lose everything.
No urgency in regard to care, apparently not a single child psychiatrist works on Fridays, and everyone I talk to act like they really hate their job!! DON NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!
They have sent the wrong zoom link for telehealth appointments to me and my loved ones multiple times, resulting in wasted time, missed appointments and delayed prescription refills. Even with phone calls to check in… they're still unable to correct the issue in a timely manner. No one ever wants to take responsibility when this happens, they just pass the buck with some irritating, empty platitude. Office staff are inept and complacent. Doctors are checked out, always putting their own preferences over the needs of their patients. If you get a good therapist or caseworker, don't get attached because they'll be moving on to greener pastures. You get exactly what you pay for with this place: incompetence and disrespect in spades.
As it stands, I was voluntarily in Therapy for a small amount of time, the experience of Which I have no complaints. My issue is the false assessment that labeled Me delusional on paper based off of someone else's… spiritual beliefs. The unprofessional application of one's own belief in mandating that someone who doesn't believe a religion brought here by foreigners with a clause to accept or Die, does not make a "non-believer" delusional. The discrimination of the Nurse who evaluated me negatively is an abridgement of My Right to choose My Beliefs. As such, She should lose her license to practice as her belief in Jesus is put before her job to properly determine the mental health of another who believes differently. This is a crime, as my record now reflects someone else's prejudice for me not believing what they do. Considered Mal-Practice based on personal stigma in a place where We have freedom of religion. Unconstitutional to say the least.
I was diagnosed at 8 with Autism. My social issues and speech problems led to me getting bullied throughout my childhood. I went to another clinic where I was diagnosed with PTSD. I went here a few years ago and two… older therapists tried to convince me I wasn’t Autistic off talking to me for a few minutes. Excuse me, they weren’t there for my speech therapy and communication classes as a child. I also had IEP growing up because of my Autism. I had and still have learning issues and need work accommodations. Not everything is just general anxiety and depression.
Dr kim sucks at listening, diagnosing, and scheduling. This man has cancelled more than 2 appointments just so he could go on vacation or have the day off and forget about his patients. I’ve been seeing him for over 5… years and this just really pissed me off
I’ve had nothing but a positive experience with the therapists I’ve seen. I saw April for two years and then Alyssa for six years. Since Alyssa left in March 2024, I’ve gone through two different therapists in a matter… of two months and am waiting to be assigned a third. Idk who thought it was a good idea to place me with a boomer therapist but whoever made that decision was severely mistaken. That same boomer therapist told me to not contact my parents. She wrote that in all capital letters on an appointment card. It is not a therapist’s place to ever tell their clients to not contact their own family. I actually question whether or not the director of out patient mental health knows anything at all how trauma affects the brain because she had the audacity to tell me two therapy sessions a week are supposed to only be temporary. I’d like to see her go through 30+ years of trauma and then maybe she wouldn’t say such ignorant things to clients. Was assigned a new therapist Maria. She literally put zero effort into the therapy service she provided to me and decided after one session she no longer wanted to provide therapy to me despite receiving a detailed outline from my previous therapist about my case. Meanwhile, Karen up and left on a seven day vacation without bothering to email me back. Seems like nobody really cares or listens to the clients advocating for themselves and their needs. Have not had a proper therapy session in well over a month. Spoke to Karen yesterday and she said, “we don’t have any therapist right now for you.” How are you just going to fire a perfectly good therapist and not have anyone to take over her caseload?! This place is severely mismanaged and impossible to get any sort of help and answers. Was assigned a new therapist Michelle and all of a sudden she’s canceling appointments and delegating the responsibility of telling her clients to a supervisor. Emailed her twice now to reschedule the canceled appointment and she has not responded. Beyond ridiculous the level of mistreatment at this facility. Now the psychiatrists are a different story. Since 2016 I have had four different psychiatrists. Dr. Kirby was the absolute best psychiatrist I’ve ever had! Then she up and left and I have switched psychiatrists twice. One psychiatrist kept telling me he appreciates me. Did not like that. Then I switched to another psychiatrist and she downright refused to refill all my medications. Then she lied and told me she sent in refills when she didn’t and now I can’t switch to a new psychiatrist. Absolute worst doctors ever! And ever since Covid started they’ve been locking people out of the building so no one can get their medicine. Today I went to pick up my medicine and I forgot to bring my phone so I couldn’t call them to bring it to my car. They refused me access into the building and then the pharmacy technician refused to give me my prescriptions unless I signed a paper and went back outside. They called the manager out and the manager told them to give me my prescriptions. I told them I can sue them for medical malpractice if they don’t give me my prescriptions. And that’s not the first time I’ve threatened to sue them. They weren’t giving me a new psychiatrist so I wasn’t getting that service. They were just refilling my medicine. I threatened to sue them if I wasn’t given a new doctor. Next day I was assigned a new doctor.
The clinicians at this facility have made a habit of improper record keeping, ghosting their patients and missing appointments with no notice. There is no sense of urgency when it comes to their clients.
I have Robert Ryan 4 therapy Much better now than I used 2 🐝 Dr. Dorfman is my psychiatrist He at tymes gets me pissed That's ok cuz I learn as I go What I learned is to take it slow Now I know the world we see Does not… revolve around me Others they are hurting too Now I know just what to do Deep breathing is a tool to use Never is it ok to abuse
If you want mental health help, it's hard to get these days. That's why I put up with too much here. Now I am on wait-lists elsewhere, just trying to get help for my daughter.
After about two years of having med after med added to my list...I gave up the day my therapist, Nancy, said it seemed most of my issues were emotional....? It's like they don't want to hear what you have to say.
Great office and therapist once you get on the right medication.
