Defense mechanism, beliefs, anxiety, balance, compromising, productive, aggressiveness, issues, problem's,bad or good behaviors every day you wore them up your sleeves,and… more and you wore them well but when I learned who you were was hard for me to believe,by any means necessary lord knows no surrender know retreat was your beliefs no games or schemes, now I see why other called you the true Ms.Recovery,I'm no M.L.K.but the day I walked through them doors I had a dream,you get what you put in when you work hard for something you develop a different kinda attachment for it just like your disease, and the gift of recovery is what you wanted all of us to achieve,to join the list of greatness without compromising who we are and what we have build an defense mechanism only we could see,we are who we are until we walk through that front door to leave the bullshit in the streets,to be productive in ur own recovery,all the streets and the anxiety of relationships and all the other behaviors that's bad must be released,on the contrary say an do what you mean, problem solving and everything in-between, excessive conversation on or off the phone makes being there harder at times it may seem, you was always full of data your Internet is always on,just a reminder you came there by yourself try to leave alone,find your own zone,I'm not talking about cox but after awhile it felt good calling home,you gave me this and I can go on an on these 10 effects and a few months later I'm still clean and I wrote this in your honor,to me your avenues black mamba so I will end this with you was my blessing in there and Thank you Ms.Donna So mite not understand this and the wording,that's ok but if you are anything like I was this is the place you need to be, when you go be open minded the staff is the best from the front desk all the way through they are showing you a different perspective of living,I'm a souechef but they have the recipe to recovery...one day you will have to get serious about you....

No actual detox , 3 hrs per day 5 day's a week rehab ?! My brother goes here , I would not suggest sending you or your Loved one here unless you only want out of the house for 3 hrs a day . There isn't enough space to say how I feel about Lake Wellness. I woke up on 9/10/23 and decided to reach out to them via online. I filled out a form and was called within minutes offering help. I honestly could not do… it by myself. The staff there is exceptional. The counselors there were exceptional. And the doctor very caring. Everytime I went in I felt like I was walking into home and knew I was safe. Thank you so much Lake Wellness, yall saved my life!!!!!

Lake Wellness has been a great experience for me from the curriculum, to the counselors, and that extends to the staff who works for us. They are so very humble and down to earth, they’re always extending their hands at… being helpful. Most of the staff is in recovery so they know what we are looking for and understand us. this place was very helpful, in particular Bruce is an excellent counselor and is extremely knowledgeable of the neurological mechanics of addiction as well as the spiritual component of recovery

Coming here has been a very good experience for me..the counseling is great and the staff is very professional and also they are great making you feel apart of I would definitely recommend this company to anyone trying… to get there life back on track..luv you guys and thanks for the help...

This facility was a real game changer for me. My group facilitator Bruce was engaging, caring and available. The outpatient therapy helped to move me towards my goals, I enjoyed the company of other people in similar… trajectories of sobriety and I have already benefitted from being able to share with them. I learned so much about the science behind addiction. This is a stellar program!

Bruce is a counselor that really cares about his clients. I would recommend him and Lake wellness to anyone with addiction issues. Very professional.

This was my 2nd IOP. The counselor and staff were very professional and friendly. The group sessions along with the class lectures were informative,educational,and required group participation.I feel that the tools I… acquired at Lake Wellness prepared me for when I completed the program. I’m now 10.6 months sober it’s one day at a time but this IOP program works if your willing to listen and do the things suggested and the WORK.God Bless

I do not have one complaint about Lake Wellness. The counselor I had was amazing. The entire staff was very genuine & down to earth. They actually care how your doing. You can talk to anyone there & they are very happy… to give you their advice or personal experience. It’s all about communication & wanting your recovery. You have to want to do it for you! Suit up & show up. The group I was in was great! Niesha was my counselor she will be straight up & honest with you & that is what we all need. They also do one on ones with the counselor & you whenever you need. Another main part in recovery is working the steps, having a sponsor, & meetings. If anyone is looking to do outpatient I highly recommend Lake Wellness. All you need to do is take that first step! Thank you guys for everything. My experience at Lake Wellness, was exceptional. From the time I started there I felt comfortable and at ease. Their entire staff were helpful, kind, and encouraging. The counselors and medical personel were… knowledgeable with a good bedside manner, that listen and make clear they want to do all they can. I definitely recommend Lake Wellness to all.

I thought that it would be difficult to talk, but between being matched with a great group therapist (Sabrina), great dr. (Brittany) on top of Jeff and Eric being extremely understanding...I know that I have found the… perfect place for me at Lake Wellness. Thank you guy so much & I really enjoyed the ppl in my group, as well. They made it easier to talk.

I would like to say ,first off I was not looking forward to another treatment center. My husband gave me the number to Lake Wellness and I called that day.. From the very start I felt so safe and welcomed. Tyler made me… feel very hopeful and guided me through the signing up process and was very patient and understanding. Once I started group I knew I was at the right place . Because of Lake Wellness and their staff I am still sober and look so forward to my group and my counselor Piper. All I can say is thank God my husband gave me this number cause I would still be struggling with my addiction. Thank you Lake Wellness. Thank you Tyler !!

My family member did not get all the resources that he was supposed to receive. Group sessions always cut short, never received the DNA testing to guide the appropriate prescription of the correct medication and his 1x… a week psychiatrist visit was not once a week. Several appts were cancelled or no doctor available. When he did get an appt., it was only 10 min, kind of a med check. They did not discuss his problems on an individual basis or offer the individual therapy that is so necessary. Everybody seemed to be on the same medication. One pill to fix everyone. They are taking money from people who are desperate for help and leaving many feeling still broken but now also taken advantage of.

BEWARE OF SCAM!!! I signed up for the outpatient rehab program. After finishing my 7 week course, they suggested that I extend for another week (if my insurance approve). I have completed the course and suppose to do a… follow up once a week for a year. There hasn’t been any calls to see how I am doing or to set up an appointment. I had to do a drug test twice a week that was not covered under my insurance. When I received my first EOB stating that I owed for the testing, I asked the center about this charge and they told me “ not to worry about it that it was included with my deductible”. Now I am told that it wasn’t part of my deductible and that I signed a form stating I am responsible for “outside venders”. I wasn’t given a choice to go somewhere else that was in network for this test, and now I have a $2000 bill. I already paid my deductible of $2000 for the treatment, how can I pay another $2000 for something I wasn’t aware of. I have waited over a month for “upper management” to get back to me without any response. Also, what was the purposes of these weekly testing if there wasn’t any consequences for failing it? Interestingly enough, the headquarter for this testing company is in the same town as the headquarter for Townsend. The lack of genuine care and concern from this facility is appalling since it is considered as a treatment center to help those in need. The only care and concern I have received are from my group attendees who have called to show me their support. Also, one of the “reviewer” is an employee that gave the facility 5 stars.
