Lehigh Valley Health Network – Bethlehem Address, Location and Contact Information
Records give the address as 2545 Schoenersville Road, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, 18017. This address falls in Northampton County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. The practical question of getting to appointments week after week is worth thinking through at the outset.
It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

I had a traumatic brain injury from an accident 5 months prior. I came in because I felt off. Still can't smell or taste anything, forgetting things etc. They asked me if I wanted to hurt myself, I said no. Asked me if… I wanted to hurt someone else. Again no. So tell me how a few minutes later they legit sent someone from psych to talk to me. I already established that I knew me feeling off was from. I don't want to hurt myself or anyone else so why do you want me to take all my jewelry out, change... no thank you. I left. They don't listen at all... theyre just trying to make the most money of you.. real talk.
Walls are always white when I go in there and they only take me to the behavioral health side and they wind up 302 me. I feel like I'm being harassed by local ambulance and security.
I was in for over a week on suicide watch, and the guy was watching me, had fallen asleep and I got proof of it.
They where very nice and kind. EXCELLENT SERVICE
This is a horrible place to go. Awful experience that confirmed what I have heard from other patients. This is the Black sheep of the LVHN network.
My mom was in the hospital for 2 days. Most of the time family was around so everyone was nice however, at night my mom had an accident in the bed because she was ringing for assistance and no one came in. After a aid… finally came in and my explained that her bed was wet and needed assistance. The aid left the room to get sheets and didn't return for over an hr. Leaving my mom lay in her urine.
To Dr. Tenzer, Nurse Amy, Mel and the other lovely lady, I want to thank you. Thank you for your understanding and thank you for being human. May your food basket never go empty.
I highly recommend you go somewhere else ! No need to elaborate.
Want to give a shout out to RN Shirley C.in the 3rd floor Cardiology unit. What a kind and caring class act. She made my dad relax before and after his procedure. All staff was warm and gracious, but Shirley was the best
It's a terrible, filthy place. My brother has advanced cirrhosis, can barely walk, weighs about 70 lbs. They discharged him after two days. Social workers only exist to let you know they are sending him to your house in… an Uber! If you want to live, stay out.
worst staff and doctors I ever deal with in my life
Pressed charges on me for going to receive help in the ER . Exhausted my insurance and I’ve sat in jail for going to receive help . If you’re having a mental health episode please go anywhere but here . They are cash… grabbers
My wife spent three days in this hospital after suffering an aneurysm, and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. Compared to the hospitals back home, the level of care here was noticeably worse. Not every… staff member was rude, but there were far more negative interactions than positive ones. Since she was admitted to the stroke unit, we expected attentive care and clear communication, but that wasn’t our experience. Aside from Logan, Keith, and the physical therapy nurse—who were compassionate, caring, and truly outstanding—it often felt like no one was checking in on her or keeping us informed. There were multiple times where it felt like, if I hadn’t been there to advocate for her, ask questions, help her, and make sure things were getting done, she would have been left to figure everything out on her own. Patients in a stroke unit shouldn’t have to rely on family members just to receive basic communication and support. Communication from the doctors and hospitalists was especially lacking. We were rarely updated on test results and often had to wait for them to appear in the patient portal. We ended up reviewing the results ourselves and using ChatGPT to help us understand them because no one took the time to explain what was going on. Even the medical notes seemed inconsistent—they didn’t clearly identify what type of aneurysm she had. Our experience with Radiology was also upsetting. The technicians came across as dismissive and unfriendly, and one interaction left my wife so overwhelmed that she returned to her room in tears. The few staff members who treated us with kindness made a real difference, and we’re very grateful to them. Unfortunately, they were the exception rather than the rule. Based on our experience, if you have the option, I would strongly recommend seeking care at a hospital in Philadelphia instead. Very shady hospital after talking to a few people and looking into it we’re pretty sure they were the reason the liver issues suddenly came up. They gas lit her into thinking she did it to herself with Tylenol, come to find out the drugs they were over using on her are also known to cause to cause liver issues and she was charged for every consult with different departments. This place should be shut down and every doctor should be stripped of their license STAY AWAY THEY WILL MAKE YOU SICKER!
Left my mother n lawn sitting in her own waste
Took my 2 year old here for breathing issues and we were completely disregarded. When we finally were taken back there were no rooms and the staff appeared to care less about her breathing. I notified a male nurse that… my daughter was weezing and having trouble breathing and I was ignored. When I finally got his attention he told me a doctor will be with my shortly only for him to come back 15 mins later asking me questions. When I asked for a different nurse he got upset and walked away stating he will let the charge nurse know. I waited another 10 mins no charge nurse or nurse. So I asked for a manager and the staff pointed me in the direction of the charge nurse who told me they were changing shifts anyway. I left and took my daughter to Riley’s children hospital which was 25 mins away where she was given 3 treatments and steroids because she in fact was having breathing problems. The lack of compassion for a baby I just couldn’t believe. Never go there especially if it is life or death.
Horrible service. Was in hospital for IV infusion and they served me expired yogurt.. When raised complaint the nurse apologize and also comments yogurt doesn’t usually harm even after expire . Felt nauseous 🤮 after it… and they are convincing me that it’s from the infusion and not yogurt.. they say they took the complaint but when asked for paperwork for the complaint raised they are dragging me to wait here and there but no complaint in paper!! If something severe happens to me today , it’s on them. Keith the COO was convincing me that if you take expired product from grocery what will you do, mistake happens everywhere and nothing is going to happen in consuming 5 days expired yogurt. I replied if grocery sell expired product I have right to sue them. Immediately he says ok now we are done talking because you are threatening to sue us. No proper apology and so arrogant and trying to play with words when I was expecting proper apology and liability in paper saying if at all anything happens they will takecare. All they did was throw me out.
Don’t try reaching anyone, like a patient family member at this Mulhenberg facility. You are out of luck. No one seem to care whether or not you get connected. One star is the lowest I could rate.
Do not come here for emergency!! My wife went to the ER with pain and Dr. Wallace told my wife she was fine and her iron was low and she should eat bison. No scans no nothing just to eat bison. So we went to the… Hecktown ER n they did a CT and it made us an appointment to urology and scanned showed she has a tumor. So to Muhlenburg you guys need to do better, maybe actually care bout your patients because this is not ok.
My doctor, Dr Huang was wonderful. Took time to talk me through my results and ease my concerns. The real rock star of my visit was my RN Christian S. He was friendly, warm, skilled, kind and attentive. I’m incredibly… grateful for the swift and comprehensive care I received here
Absolutely the best care. Every one is professional, knowledgeable, loving and caring. I am truly happy with their care. , True heroes 💕💕🙏🙏thank you all
Check in process is fast. The employees seem nice and knowledgeable but I will say that the wait time is ridiculous. My child and I arrived at 9 AM and waited 4 hours for the radiologist to do an ultrasound. Another… hour for the paperwork. I should have went to the children’s hospital always in and out there. So we’ve been here a total of 6 hours for a 10 min ultrasound🙃
My husband was admitted to the hospital, he was there a week, Dr Sanchez and Dr Mai S Abd-Alqader were both amazing m, took time with us to explain everything going on, they didn’t try and rush and answered any… questions we had, the day time nurses we also good, the night time nurses not so much they would come on shift at 7:00-7:30 and they wouldn’t even come into my room most nights until he called them around 9:30-10:00 pm for his nighttime meds. They just weren’t as friendly or helpful as the daytime nurses. But all in all his stay was good.
I would urge everyone to avoid this place as though your life depends upon it. (It very well might.) There were a few staff members who appeared somewhat competent. But the rest were seemingly clueless at best and truly… abusive at worst. Most fell into the last category. I won't go into the nature of the abuse here, but if your mind immediately went to the worst case scenario, you wouldn't be wrong.
Really not happy overall. My father was taken there's in ambulance to the ER. They were pretty good in the ER. Then when we got upstairs you the 2nd floor on a Friday the first nurses were getting ready to go and others… coming on to shift. So it was a little confusing but most were nice enough. But they did not do certain things that I feel like if they really cared they would have done like update there names on the board to know who was coming in and out of the room. Now that being said fri night shift and through the weekend shift was pure hell!! The way they talked to my father, they way they treated my 28 yr old son was just atrocious!!!! I'm actually considering filing a formal complaint about several people there. I was completely disgusted with the way they were and the way they did, oh sorry DIDN'T actually do their jobs. IT WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and there were only a few that were decent and treated us kindly and were professional and for those few is why I have 2 stars because if want the the few I would have given 0 stars!!!! Like I told the tech named Jesse y'all need to get it together before you speak to people the way you do! There was a very nice tech I believe name BRIDGETTE we have her a compliment she was outstanding and others should try to do their job better although I KNOW THEY ARE JUST THERE FOR THE PAY BECAUSE IT TRULY SHOWS!!!! GET IT TOGETHER LV MUHLENBURG!!!!!
Went in for undiagnosed whiplash and post concussion syndrome because the symptoms had become rapidly worse without obvious cause. Left without an attempt at etiology for the cause of rapid worsening, and without any… sort of benefit for symptoms. They attempted something called a migraine cocktail without any explanation as to why I might have a migraine, which for whatever reason made the symptoms much worse and added nausea. The doctor came back and I told him there was no improvement and that it had gotten much worse, in response to which he said I could go home. They seem to be running the ED with either foot standing firmly in the twin traps of overtreatment and therapeutic nihilism.
