LifeStream Behavioral Center – Leesburg Detox and Rehab Services
What LifeStream Behavioral Center – Leesburg offers, on record, is intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

LifeStream Behavioral Center – Leesburg Address, Location and Contact Information
This facility serves Leesburg, Florida. The city lies within Lake County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

How Much Does Treatment at LifeStream Behavioral Center – Leesburg Cost?
Self-pay rehab in Florida commonly costs $6,000 to $35,000 a month for residential treatment and $1,500 to $5,500 a month for standard outpatient care. This place is horrible. Intake nurses scaring patients, saying "u think ur having panic attacks now just wait until u get to the back". During the 3 hours sitting in intake they discussed other patients and how this… didn't qualify for their pay grade. Females put in with the men, who scream violent things through out the night. Only medicine that was offered was tranquilizers and not my normal prescription. Roaches in the rooms. This place needs to be shut down. They treat the patients horrible. And because I was placed with some really mentally ill people when I was there for a panic attack, i watched and observed. Just because those people have mental problems doesn't make them anymore less of a person. There were a very few employees who were caring and those people are blessings to a place like this. Horrible horrible experience. Also note that no one responds to the hundreds of horrible reviews, should be ashamed treating people this way
if i could negative i would. My daughter has been multiple times and 0 communication. If i had a choice where she could go but since it's involuntary baker act we can't. I'm so over the place
If your looking to be in contact with your doctors office, don’t count on it. Need a call back? Won’t happen! Mistakes? CONSTANTLY! My advice? Go to a different location if you can. Especially for MAT services. They are… horrible, sorry.
I know the food is catered but there's love in the way they prepared it. The nurses are so kind even when patients are unkind to them. All the staff are welcomeing and really smart at what they do. Thank you for helping… me when I was at my worst. 🧡💛🧡
Walking in to see a “Dr” but saw a nurse practitioner, all great. Today I am trying to get in contact with her and I got passed around, then hung up after hearing her say “you know what?” Only cause I asked her to let… me talk. “Call center”, (1st person) older lady, was rude but explained me they are not at the same location. (We need help not 2 uncalled attitudes.) They are frustrated with the system, no problem, but we already have enough to deal with this too. Get a beeper system. Something has to get better ASAP!
Not a place I would recommend for anyone!!
This place is a joke they claim they can help your child they don’t help at all it’s a waste of time wouldn’t recommend this to place to no one
if i could leave less stars I would. If you are looking for a place for a loved one or for yourself to get treatment and to be treated with compassion in an environment that feels safe—do not take them here. Though they… follow normal protocols of ensuring no access to anything dangerous, the atmosphere does not feel safe. My mom was forced to go here, as her family we had no say. Since then, we have been left in the dark with any regard to her treatment plan, next steps, or anything of the sort. Staff sound frustrated when we try to contact my mom, even though most of us just want to make sure she is okay. Upon contact with her, she was not in a room yet even though we were told by staff that she had a room already, In fact, my mom was not in a room but she was laying on the concrete floor with a thin blanket for hours with a migraine and they refused to give her any medication even though she had her prescription migraines medication in her belongings at intake. They also did not give her all of her prescribed medications that she needs, which is ridiculous. They do not treat patients as humans, my mom had felt like a prisoner. Once, when I called to try to check in on my mom, they informed her that she had 5 minutes on the phone which actually was 3 minutes. In the three minutes, my mom had told me she got a room late in the night, was not given her prescribed medications for her previously diagnosed medical conditions, and screaming and yelling was heard in the background. How can you have faith in the facility’s ability to help heal and encourage patients to get back on track under these conditions? Again, the lack of communication with staff about next steps and lack of proper accommodations is disgraceful and frankly deplorable. If you have the opportunity to choose a facility for your loved one, this is not the place to go. edit: Do not expect any direct communication or cooperation in relation to your loved one’s treatment or any of the processes involved with intake or discharge. They lie and tell you anything they can to get you off the phone. If you try to contact your loved one, they take it out on them. On several occasions when contacting my mom, the nurses or whoever they have at the desk in the ward yelled at my mom and at one point slammed a door in her face after yelling at her. They do not know how to treat patients or their family members with any dignity or respect. They do not seem to actually care about patients wellbeing and the employees need a lot of training in dealing with patients that are already in fragile states and probably additional training in compassion fatigue. Never in my life would I think a place that is supposed to help people heal and better themselves would treat people this way.
I don’t have many good things to say about this establishment, but I am leaving one star because I can’t leave a zero, and 5 star for a few employees who treated me with kindness. Madison, Deb, Cymberly T.J., Shakayla,… and Patti. God bless all of you.
Baked potatoes
I was in the kids section for a short time. The staff were unacceptably dismissive and uncaring, the children were completely uncontrolled and even negatively reinforced, and there's no psychologist helping to regulate… or even teach a sliver of psychological/therapeutic advice to staff, not anyone, i alone did more work calming a young child having a panic attack then these full grown adults being paid to do essentially nothing. The constant screams id heard from multiple of the children were absolutely agonizing and caused near constant flashbacks and reinforced trauma, and the neglect to show any compassion, care, nor consideration for me nor anybody else's hardship because of the staff's terrible job of keeping peace, it's just unacceptable and irrefutably wrong. The drinks and snacks, just constant sugar to force the children and adult patients into sugar-fueled "happiness" or so they feel less like shit quicker and therefore can be booted out without as tangible means for complaint to the terrible care there; whatever's convenient for the corporation, right? They played 24/7 videos and blasted music near unstoppably as per every beck and call to a single disruptive, out of control child who staff simply did not feel they were paid enough to deal with, as is their job. I had to deal with an incredible worsening in my depersonalization and dissociative traits, flashbacks, and suicidal ideation due to the treatment reflected in this review and more. I do not know how this place is legally apt to be up and running, one of the children would just assault staff for weeks with near no consequence, or consolation to the staff. The adult section was better than the kids, and kids are 10x easier to (co)regulate, you've all failed at your jobs and should most likely seek therapeutic education and implementation into your jail-esque institution. Thank you for your time! Have a terrible night, please!
am writing this review to share a deeply concerning experience at LifeStream Behavioral Center in Leesburg, Florida. My adult son was admitted for emergency psychiatric care in June 2026, and from the moment he arrived,… the conditions were troubling. He was not given a proper place to sleep for several hours, and when he finally was, it was a mattress on the floor in a shared room. During his stay, he experienced a chaotic and frightening environment, including what sounded like ongoing yelling and even a physical altercation. Instead of feeling safe and stabilized, he felt scared and emotionally worse. Communication with staff was extremely difficult. I was unable to identify or speak with his assigned nurse despite repeated attempts, and calls were often unanswered or transferred without response. Requests to move him to a quieter, safer area were denied, and reaching a supervisor proved nearly impossible. While a few staff members were compassionate and helpful, most appeared disengaged. His psychiatric evaluation before discharge was very brief, raising concerns about the accuracy of his diagnosis and overall care. Based on both his experience and what I personally heard during phone calls, this facility did not provide the safe, structured, and therapeutic environment that patients in crisis need. I hope this review encourages improvements so that other families do not go through a similar experience.
Horrible.
I don't recommend this place, I was a patient there back in November of 2025. I still have nightmares about this place.
I had really good care here. I checked myself in for detox and stayed 3 days. I had great staff. I had a good experience and i like Dr. Corea.
Deplorable conditions for humans to live in. I was taken there around 3:00 am and was left in a waiting area with people sprawled out all over the floor hard plastic chairs with blankets. I didn't get into the rehab… area until around 1:00 pm. I didn't get a room until 9:00 pm. I had been awake for around 38 hours before I got a room assignment. I know it is a lock down facility, but it is more like jail. Patients sucker punching other patients, breaking the water fountain off the wall, urinating on the floor. I feared my life in there. The staff is constantly being screamed at by patients that are fed up with simple things like, getting their medication on time or to use a bathroom. The food was hard to identify, I was not sure what I was eating. Some of the staff members were helpful but most just seemed like they didn't even see me standing right in front of them waiting to talk to them, or just ignored me when I was trying ask for something like my insulin injection or to get my blood sugar checked. I didn't get my insulin injections until hours after I had a meal, causing my blood sugar to go extremely high every time I ate. Insulin is supposed to be injected before eating to keep levels at a good level. They should check diabetics sugar levels before eating to see how much insulin is needed and keeping blood sugar levels from going extremely high. If you have a person that needs help, I would recommend taking them somewhere else. This place needs to be investigated.

while i was here i was treated very horribly in the girls unit. they bullied and antagonized the patients causing fights between them. it was very scary and chaotic. i arrived from the hospital and had to wait three… days to see the psychiatrist. i feel if mental health was more important here there would be regular therapist visit and daily physiatrist visits. it was very sad seeing the treatment of patients and how the staff created chaos to those already struggling. very disappointed with my experience and hope things change for the health of the patients
Trying to locate someone and they act like cant pull the person name up
Life changing, loved the service and all the people here!
I'm Emily Carlson. The worst hospital I've been to in fl. Mind you, I've been there 50 times since I was 11 years old due to trauma And self harm, which then eventualy led to staff getting in physical altercations… regularly due to not caring enough about their job or maybe they just hate their job I get it it's hard but if it's not a field for you, you shouldn't go into it. If your cumbrella eyelashes weren't always in the way you could probably do that paperwork quicker too.
The woman in charge refused to give my schitziphrenic son his much needed medicine and after I was told to bring a signed statement from my son stating that I could pick up his meds anytime that nightand they were… packed and would be ready for me, I drove three hours after working at night and noone could find them. The young ladies working that night were not at fault however, I don't think the head nurse even searched for themMs.jennifer should never have kept them from my son. They are psych meds not opioids.I would not recommend this place for mental help
The nurses and the techs do as best they can, and yes the detox is not bad but when they domt have room on detox they say to come in and stick you on a floor that is not treating detox. When and if they find you have a… head injury (I do) or mental illness no matter if you tell them they make you hallucinate very badly cause no chemical imbalance just some shaken up neurons. Then I asked the nurse and tech and they lied n said it was an anti-histamine. I had to check myself out to get medical attention for what I was experiencing, horrid hallucinations. It would be nice if a doctor would treat the patient instead of the file the just opened.
I was told to be there at 130pm for the 2-3pm visitation window on a Sunday and myself and about 10 others were left to stand in the FL heat until about 205pm, at which point there were clipboard, pen and paperwork… shortages. They did extend the visitation time, but the intake process was not pleasant. FYI, You are only allowed to bring your keys and ID, which they photo copy. Based on my loved ones experience here they felt they were simply being held/detained and medicated heavily 3 times a day. They waited around 5 to 6 hours in the waiting room. Eventually they got a twin mattress on the floor with 3 other patients. The staff were somewhere between helpful and dismissive throughout. When my loved one returned for the follow up appointment (which was an hour from our house each way) they were asked if they needed medication or was planning to use their therapist and when they said no, they were told there was no need for the appointment, which left them further distressed and frustrated, understandably. So be warned about the need for following up in person. Please consider donating allowable items to this center. I believe the staff and patients could benefit greatly from some extra tlc.
