Livengrin Foundation Inc – Bensalem Detox and Rehab Services
Livengrin Foundation Inc – Bensalem carries a listing for detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Withdrawal is managed under clinical observation before other treatment begins, which matters most in the first seventy-two hours for alcohol and benzodiazepines. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.
Combined treatment is not recorded, which is worth checking before committing. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

Livengrin Foundation Inc – Bensalem Address, Location and Contact Information
Livengrin Foundation Inc – Bensalem is located at 4833 Hulmeville Road in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, 19020. The city lies within Bucks County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

I had law enforcement hazing me they had a friend recommended this place when I went there ...they had 4 cops spend a week there harassing me an mocking me The staff looked the other way for law enforcement violated my… hippa privacy an all...until i walked out an funny my parole agent locked me right up In. State prison ..an stated a bunch of shit for me I spent 6 months getting abused So police can get retaliation it all began with livingrin selling me out
Excellent service 👍🏻
The nurses and techs gave me the most incredible care anyone could imagine. I wouldn't have gotten better without them. The counselors I dealt with were the opposite. They were unprofessional, aggressive, and didn’t… have the slightest bit of care or empathy in them. This would have been 5 stars if it weren’t for the way I was treated or should I say made to feel afraid because of these 3 counselors.
Michelles the best. Go for the rehab stay for the food.
incredible staff truly helped me become a productive member of society
Best rehabilitation around hands down.it works if you work it!
From admissions, to the therapists, to techs, to nursing & medical staff this facility and program provides a complete wrap around approach for those participating in its services. They genuinely want to see you… succeed! The attitude one has entering the program is going to shift their experience within the program. Individuals generally don’t enter a place like this because everything is going great. I came in irritable, cranky, and just not functioning well. All of the staff displayed patience and were empathetic towards me. I’m continuing to take part in OP services (because why not?) and I continue to receive the same level of respect and support that I received when I first walked through the admissions door. Give yourself a chance….
Since our loved one has entered the facility we have had so much relief. The staff has been excellent at helping us as family navigate through this process. Our loved one has been very positive and grateful since… entering the facility and said every person he has met has been helpful. This place has given us all hope for a bright future.
From the start this facility has went above and beyond to not only help my loved one but help me navigate the entire process. The staff has been amazing from the second we reached out. The family support groups were… helpful and informative. They really know how to build a support system for not only the one with addiction but also their loved ones, if they choose to utilize them.
Livengrin was great the detox center employees such as Annie and kelly and nurses were amazing the techs are great. I see negative reviews and I dont agree a great place to go and ive been to 9 rehabs throughout the… country. My counselor Beth was very helpful and great while there other shout outs to Kaitlyn a nurse, Harold a tech, Michelle tech justin and Brian techs anyone else I missed I apologize you were all great. My insurance had issues they fixed it immediately so that I was covered
If I could give zero stars, I would. Less than 40 hours into my loved one's stay, he was in full fight-or-flight and wanted to leave—something we were told is completely normal early in treatment. When our family called… for support, we were told by a staff member that she had “spent the whole day with him and he does not need to be here.” That statement was reckless and unprofessional. Early resistance is why people go to rehab. At that point, he was scared, dysregulated, and not capable of making clear decisions about his care. Instead of helping him through that moment, this staff member validated his urge to leave. He checked out early and is now worse off. A rehab facility should be trained to see through fear and denial—not reinforce it. What happened here caused real harm, and families deserve to know that.
I worked with the livengrin staff on a level of care transfer and it was a seamless transition. They were communicative, recovery focused and professional from start to finish. As a mental health professional, I would… give this organization my highest recommendation. Thank you to the staff for going above and beyond and making recovery possible.
Jared tabia the outpatient counselor is a great guy he gets things done to right away. And Mr. Harold also don't get enough credit he works his butt off.
I've been dealing with something from a DUI from 2012. I lost my job. I had to move. I cannot get anybody to help me and I've been sober now for many years. I haven't drank in many many years and for almost 7 months my… license has been suspended. After it was reinstated from 2012, I renewed it four times. This is the fifth time I went to renew it. Mind you, I live in New Jersey. This happened in Pennsylvania and they were saying that they don't have all my paperwork. My old lawyer wouldn't even help me out. They said they have more important things to do. I paid some other company 300 bucks. I've spent hours and hours and hours trying to get this resolved. Titling companies bucks county courthouse Doylestown courthouse Court of clerks I got nowhere absolutely nowhere except frustration and anger again. I was making sometimes three phone calls a day trying to get through to PennDOT and always getting a different answer. They wanted stuff from 2012. You don't even have to keep medical or tax records for that long so to speak. The one place over in Pennsylvania said I would have to go back and do IOP and they wanted a 5-month update on how I was doing. I've graduated IOP and I've been sober ever since Unfortunately, I did not find out about this place till about a month ago. Unfortunately I moved from Jersey to Michigan so it's been a little bit of a pain I was dealing with one of the other places regarding DUIs common law places in Pennsylvania that the court basically works with, but absolutely one of the worst experience in my life. But again it wasn't till almost the 7th month of dealing with this that I was told I could go and try to deal with another facility However, livinggren has been beyond helpful beyond sympathetic to my situation. They are absolutely trying to help me. HELEN and JAMIE, are absolutely amazing! Everyone that I've spoken to there has been absolutely amazing, but these two women in particular that have been trying to help me are just absolutely god sense. So I'm sure that everyone else at that facility is just absolutely amazing as well. I only wish I found this place when I needed help with my substance abuse but better late than never they say!!
A wonderful place, has given me hope for a great future for my son. Thank u thank u
I've been trying to reach someone here for 3 weeks. I've left about a dozen messages they never call back.
Excellent care from a very knowledgeable and caring staff.
I’ve been sober for nearly 20 years ODAT. I spent 3 weeks at Livengrin in early 2006 and not a great experience and just a lot of chaos and staff unable to maintain control of the patients. That said, I suppose my brief… visit was part of my journey!
Staff is very unprofessional made number attemts to speak with the counselor even after permissions was granted still nothing beth couldnt be bothered the rehab was a waste of time for my wife if she had a better… support plan it may have been effective but we tried and tried to speak with beth about this we know her better than she soes
It opened up my eyes, heart, soul , and mind. It gave me life again, and I will always be grateful. Thank
The therapists who are actually IN recovery are helpful, the therapists who have no life experience with addiction or recovery are on a power-trip and speak down to you (in my experience and my peers’)… it was the staff… techs that helped changed my life. Finished last day of treatment and stayed till 10pm and they gave me an AFA because I didn’t sleep one more night there and leave in the morning… they didn’t get one more night of insurance payment…then called my po! Good thing I had already told him or I could’ve ended up with a probation violation. Happy Harold is THE REAL DEAL! Thank you!
I’ve had the best experience at Livengrin—the staff is honestly the most helpful I’ve ever encountered being in a treatment facility. I feel like the counselors and techs and even administration truly care about ALL… patients and encourage us to be the best version of ourselves. Even coming back in a few times, it’s not like I’ve been judged-ever. They’ve always welcomed me back with open arms and a little tough love and honesty—which I desperately needed. I joke that livengrin is a home away from home but I have so many positive relationships that stemmed from this facility. I plan on coming back here to work someday. Nothing but great things to say about my stay at livengrin and would recommend to anyone seeking drug alcohol treatment AND mental health services!!
DONT DO IT FIND SOME WHERE ELSE I DONT KNOW ABOUT ALL OF IT BUT OUTPATIENT IS THE WORST ITS A JOKE AND THEY GO OVER THE SAME STUFF EVERY WEEK ITS HORRIBLE THEY ACTUALLY TRY TO RUIN YOUR LIFE HAD ME TAKE A DEMOTION IN… WORK THEN DISCHARGE ME FOR NO REASON WHAT SO EVER ESPECIALLY IF YOUR ON PROBATION THEY WILL LIE TO YOUR PO ONLY GOOD THING IS THE NURSE SHE HAS A HEART BUT IM TELLING YOU DONT DO IT ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY WITH THEM
would not recommend this place went many yrs ago and they literally kicked me out at like 8pm when I lived in NJ didn't call my family to pick me up gave me 1 call and when they didn't answer I got booted and told to… wait at a bus stop my wet clothes were in garbage bags cause I had laundry going all cause cursed out loud more then twice in 3 weeks of being there not to mention paid in full and no refund. if it wasn't for a worker who saw me walking after they left their shift to get me to a meeting and from there I was able to find a ride home at 1am to nj. worst rehab ever. been clean 10 yrs thanks to endevour house nj
Brandon was an amazing counselor and helped me a lot. Everyone here is very nice and extremely helpful.
I must say this place is awesome I was their for treatment and the staff was great by the names of Joyce both Justin's joe mainly all of them food was great community was great and my counselor kateri She was amazing… she always helped me and was their when I needed her I mean I can go on and on but thank you guys for helping me when I was their I love you guys 90 days I will be back to speak to give back
The staff there are awful disrespectful......and they charge for AA classes that are free.......When is comes to possibly saving lives they turn down individuals who want to better themselves.....You speak to the… voicemail more than the staff and you can think twice if you want a supervisor's help......Livengrin is a joke when comes addiction treatment......they use there positions to do more harm then good........it's distasteful
