About Mirror Inc/Newton – Newton

Mirror Inc/Newton operates from 1301 North Duncan Street in Newton. The site sits in Harvey County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Hillsboro, Moundridge and North Newton. Kansas draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.

Detox, residential treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Detox and Rehab Services at Mirror Inc/Newton

Withdrawal management covers alcohol, benzodiazepine, cocaine, methamphetamine and opioid dependence and is handled on site rather than referred elsewhere. Someone starting in detox can move into residential care without changing provider or repeating an intake. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Residential runs both short and long term, so the question at intake is which length the assessment points toward. Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together.

I've been there and was doing well in their reintegration program until they said I stole a lunch sack which was labeled as mine for work and unsuccessfully discharged me from their program. They waited until I went to… court before they did that. I recommend any other treatment facility to anybody who wants to work on themselves. These people do not care. From generic treatment programs to the nasty food they feed you there after they say you stole it. Don't go here

Very disappointed in this out patient treatment program. Scandalous treatment center while I was there in December 2017 and 1 1/2 days in January 2018.

This place is worthless... All they care about is money.. They kick people out that are on an assistance program so they have a place for people paying cash.. Karma will shut this place down...

This place kicked my grandson out for not showing up to group meetings when he was sick. He only had two days left of his treatment.
