About Mirror Inc – Topeka
Mirror Inc operates from 2201 SE 25th Street in Topeka. The site sits in Shawnee County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Oskaloosa and Tecumseh. Kansas draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.
Detox, residential treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Detox and Rehab Services at Mirror Inc
Withdrawal management covers alcohol, benzodiazepine, cocaine, methamphetamine and opioid dependence and is handled on site rather than referred elsewhere. Someone starting in detox can move into residential care without changing provider or repeating an intake. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Residential runs both short and long term, so the question at intake is which length the assessment points toward. Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together.

Mirror Inc Address, Location and Contact Information
The address is 2201 SE 25th Street, Topeka, KS 66605, in Shawnee County. The catchment reaches Oskaloosa and Tecumseh. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.
Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Interpreting services including ASL are available on request. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip.

Mirror Inc Reviews and Ratings
Referring professionals and healthcare workers who have worked with Mirror Inc can leave a review in this section, as can patients and their loved ones. Accounts of how referrals and handovers were handled are especially useful.
The fact that half the staff gets high is wild. My daughter has been out there through outpatient and they let her pass drug tests knowing shes using. When my granddaughter ends up dead, I will sue them. This place… doesnt care about addicts. At all.
This is a good option if you need help with addiction recovery. My feedback about the 28 day program is that this is a serious, vigorous road to get better. Mirror also guides clients on to the next step, which is often… an Oxford House or other sober living plan. They'll help with vocational rehab and making contacts in the community-like churches and alumni willing to help. My counselor Jamie is the best but all the staff are devoted to clients. The other clients in recovery will be all sorts with different backgrounds. You will make friends with as many or as few sober people as you like! Family and friends visitation is once a week. An optional 2 mile jog and weights are available for exercise. The food is plentiful and you will have a chore. Chores are.loke helping in the kitchen or mopping floors, etc. Call ahead for a bed as there is sometimes a wait-list. Don't expect easy and fun, and expect lots of AA/NA meetings. But there's plenty of downtime for TV, reading and an occasional nap. This and Velejo are probably your best 2 options for addiction recovery in Topeka.
My son was at the Mirror Residential facility in Topeka. The councilor told my son he would not get his certificate from the program after being there 28 days. They sent his information to the court and said he did not… graduate. Today he was sentenced to 60 days in jail. He has mental and drug problems. We should have sent him to a good mental health program because this program did not work for him. If you are a Targeted Individual do not go to this facility!!!! They told me he had graduated when I asked them and apparently that was a lie! They should have thrown him out, but they kept him for the money!!!
I came in from Leavenworth having never been to treatment before & unsure of what to expect. In the first 5 minutes of arrival I was met by Nick & Gordon who (along with the other amazing staff) helped guide me through… my recovery journey. I felt like I was in the right place immediately. All of the staff were ex-addicts who knew exactly what I was going through & showed me the tools I could use to stay sober. 11+ months sober & I love my life! Not a day goes by that I don't think about my time there & how they helped me and so many others. I love EVERYTHING about my time there. In fact I recall a conversation with Nick asking if I could stay for another 30 days. Thank you Mirror Topeka for saving my life.
I can say this place did miracles for my recovery. They are amazing and all deserve a raise.
Changed my life for the better have 45 clean and it all started there
My husband was there for a week, nobody talked to him, his paperwork was never filled out,he stayed in bed almost the whole time. Nobody said anything too him, the staff never even gave him his medicine. The males and… females are hanging out that’s not what is supposed to happen, he told the staff that he was leaving and they gave him narcan as a parting gift. He was told his consular was at a funeral and there was nobody else he could talk to. These places are supposed to help people but this place is a joke and it needs to be looked into.
I just graduated from inpatient alcohol treatment at this facility on May 15th 2024. The staff is absolutely phenomenal! Everybody from maintenance up to the director is in active recovery or has been effected by… addiction. It's an awesome environment. I currently have 70 days of sobriety and owe all of it to mirrors. There is a reason they are called the dream team, but I may change the staffs name to the miracle team. I'm currently in out patient and it's amazing over there too. The food was great also. Please, if you are looking for help, the Topeka facility is the bees knees. They saved my life.
This place is a joke. They do not care about anyone getting better or doing good. They lie. They do not help.
This place is a joke. They do not help people. They make it worse on people. They say they will help but they lie.
I have a family member in there trying to get help. The people in charge are rude and disrespectful to the clients and there family members. They yell and put them down . They are in there trying to get help so do your… jobs. I have called and tried to talk to someone and all I get is the run around. I will not stop until something changes and the clients are treated like decent human beings. Do better. Also went for a visit on Saturday on June 24th. 2023. Jack is rude and disrespectful. I can't believe you have a person working at a place that is rude and disrespectful. And it seems like nobody takes these concerns seriously.
I called to ask a few questions because i have a family member releasing here and after the first question the lady hung up on me! She didn’t say “have a nice day” “good bye” or anything, just hung up. Based on other… reviews I hope the rest of the staff aren’t all rude like this. As for the women I spoke to, I hope you aren’t that rude to your family as you were with me, It doesn’t take any effort to be a decent human. Do better.
I can say it looks nice but just picking people up for church
Excellent place for those who want to establish a solid foundation in recovery and become productive members of society. Staff is super helpful at giving clients all the tools they need to succeed.
Place is horrible, they sent me back three times and died on me, don't expect any help to get back on your feet. Staff are rude, to you and your family.
Phone number not up to date and have my husband back in jail and wont say why
If I could give less then one I would.. Kick my son out because he works a second shift job. Takes a bus back..DOESN'T GET BACK UNTIL 1:30AM.. And doesn't wake up at 6:30AM .. You people are awful..
