I'VE NEVER POSTED A REVIEW BEFORE SO THAT SHOULD TELL YOU I DON'T NORMALLY DO THIS. HOWEVER THIS WAS IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO SAY SOMETHING! THE WAY THIS CLINIC LIKES TO PLAY WITH PEOPLE'S SOBRIETY IS NOT OKAY AND SOMETHING… NEEDS TO BE DONE ASAP.

OKAY I GOT ON HERE TO PUT AN UPDATE! BECAUSE THINGS HAVE GOTTEN TREMENDOUSLY WORSE SINCE I MADE MY FIRST REVIEW! I HAVE REACHED OUT TO THE CORPORATE OFFICE REGARDING MY ISSUES AND I HAVE YET TO HAVE SOMEONE CALL ME BACK… AND IT'S BEEN ALMOST A MONTH. SO I DECIDED TO JUST GIVE UP ON THIS CLINIC AND MOVE TO A DIFFERENT CLINIC. NOW BAART IS REFUSING TO GIVE ME MY TRANSFER PAPERWORK THEY'RE MAKING ME JUMP THROUGH HOOPS TO GET IT! CLEARLY THEY ARE DISCRIMINATING AGAINST ME! LIKE I SAID IN MY OTHER REVIEW PROBABLY BECAUSE I'M DISABLED! IF THEY THINK I'M GOING AWAY I'M NOT! EVEN WHEN I TRANSFER TO THE NEW CLINIC I'M NOT SHUTTING UP UNTIL SOMEONE DOES SOMETHING ABOUT THIS CLINIC AND THE WORKERS THERE! I ALSO WANTED TO POINT OUT THE NEW CLINIC I'M TRANSFERRING TO IS CALLED BHG THEY HAVE A FIVE STAR REVIEW! AND THEY'RE ONLY 20 MINUTES FROM TOPEKA!!!! SO IF IT'S AN OPTION FOR YOU TO DRIVE 20 MINUTES AWAY INSTEAD OF GOING TO THE TOPEKA CLINIC I ADVISE YOU TO DO SO! CUZ AS YOU SEE TOPEKA'S CLINIC ONLY HAS A 1.5 RATING WITH THE SAME AMOUNT OF REVIEWS!!! 🤯 You would think with so many negative reviews something would have already been done! And to the owner or whoever responds to people's reviews no I do not want to speak to Carrie (the director) so she can do absolutely nothing but upset me some more! I'd like for you to actually do something about the issue because clearly Carrie is the issue if you read the comments! I'd give them negative Stars if I could! I've been treated at this treatment center for almost 10 years and ever since the new director and company took over this place is a joke! They do not care about your well-being. This place is not there to help you only hurt you! I'm in the process now of finding out who I need to report them to!! So if you have other options I would explore those first! Let me also mention they like to discriminate as well and have favorites! My civil rights have been trampled on and I'm taking care of it! After reading some of the comments I'm starting to think they discriminate against disabled people cuz I'm disabled and I've seen a few more comments about other disabled being discriminated against. Just protect yourself and just don't go to this place if you don't have to! Let me also add when I was researching how to contact the corporate office I found out that Baymart which is the company that runs it about a year and a half ago had a bunch of clients information stolen. Who knows I was probably one of them and they just didn't tell me! Wouldn't surprise me smh... Means that most of them are clueless on how to protectively do their jobs or even what's going on in there!

I expressed concerns with how my father had been treated here to the director— he’s completely disabled and they refused to let him sit on a chair outside while he waited for me to pick him up and also refused to let… him sit inside. When I arrived my father was holding himself up by the beam. I am versed in ADA and if this is how they will treat my disabled father I am concerned with how they are treating people with substance use disorders. In speaking to the director she was very combative and defensive and kept telling me she couldn’t talk to me about the incident without a release of information. I just wanted to know their policy regarding sitting and ADA accommodations. As a mental health professional in this field, this was unprofessional and unethical and I hope they can get some training on how to treat people, no matter their background. We can do better.

Since the new director came it has went completely south it's all about money and your looked at as just another junkie this is somewhere people go to get help an get they're life together an this isn't the place it's a… money grab they will hold your medicine above you like a treat to a dog it makes me sick how the lady that runs that place can do what she is doing your best bet is to lock your self in a room an go thru withdrawal instead of getting tied up in that clinic

They would rather refuse to dose you then wait until a day for you to get paid all they are on it for a for the money they don’t care

They expected you to pay in full but won't let you get a job

I just received a response from the owners about my rating so I would like to clarify. This 4 star rating is a bit baffling it had to be a day that I met with Tom. I have been a client here on and off for a couple of… years now. I have been a client of many clinics over the years and on a scale of 1 to 10 it's about a 5. That said this clinic has a high turn over of staff so the rating depends on he they have fired or allowed to quit and who they were replaced by. Example: 2 years ago the acting director told me and my certified service dog to leave and I quote " you and your dirty dog need to leave" wen I explained he is my certified service dog I was told "get that dirty filthy animal out of here". That person has since left and six months ago they had a pretty good caring staff. Well that has again changed. With out naming names I will say that I am now looking to move to another town so I can go to a different clinic. Last but not least they do have a counselor now that in my opinion is the foundation or glue that keeps me from just quiting. This person is caring and thoughtful and actually knows wat he is doing. First he is honest, now most people really do not want to hear the truth unless it's wat they want to hear. So I am sure some other people will have some mud to sling. So just let me say THANK YOU TOM. You are a good man and someone I will never forget. To corporate I say. Talk to your clients they are suppose to be the most important people there. Thank you.

Not a good place

My name is Hassan James; patient #2036. I by no means usually leave reviews unless it’s of importance. My recovery journey has been a hiatus one, going on for about 7 months now. I’ve started my methadone treatment in… April 2024 -today’s current date (hopefully on-going until the treatment is no longer necessary) This location in SPECIFIC, has good people. Individuals you know are of good interest & truly cares for the recovery/rejuvenation of one’s life when coming here for help (Ms. Wanda, Rebecca, and Tom). There’s also people who, in my personal experience, I’ve observed & evaluated can ‘careless’. Their actions & approach to their patients shows clear signs as to why I feel the way I feel. & amongst the rest, I’ll be willing to bet my hopes for sobriety that, they too, feel the same way. Unfortunately, I had a dispute with the director of this location or ‘one in charge’ Camay Webber today. Which is also my counselor and my significant other’s counselor. This dispute is not a normal occurrence for me, I am not one for argument, disrespect, or insubordination. Anyone who really knows me or even interacted with me will tell you, I am a gentle spirit. Respectful, intelligent, compassionate, & selfless. My dissatisfactions with Ms. Webbers is a long one. & TRUST me I absolutely despise leaving complaints or words of judgement on people but this must be done. My recovery is very important to me, I’m about to be a parent in a few months, so it’s imperative that I have people who encourage, support, and holding me accountable on the matter, involved with me on my journey to sobriety. Camay Webber is NOT that person. She’s completely dismissive, inattentive, passively judgmental, neglectful, negligent, & dispassionate. As I constantly find myself reminding her my nature of disease, & reasons of. Her constant failure to properly schedule visits monthly, & making it seem as if the patient is at fault. I honestly feel as if Camay has her heart & mind in different places while being here. As this is just a ‘job’. A place where she just punches in the clock and rushes to sign off; doing the minimum required to obtain & keep this ‘job’..I am no means in position to judge as I am not perfect! But I am a patient. I expect to be treated with genuine care and compassion, & unfortunately I have not. As I feel more like a victim to her personal problems, problems that I am not responsible for. It’s an unfair burden to place upon someone who has enough to deal with as is. We're all human, & we have our own issues and solutions to go about resolving those issues, some healthy some not, but to bring your problems to your workplace. A workplace where people, addicts in specific are at the center of attention… is not a wise, or professional thing to do. I believe a Ms.Webber of a prior time would even agree. A counselor by definition is ‘a person trained to give guidance on personal, social, or psychological problems.’ And she is not that for me, & I am willing to bet AGAIN my chances of sobriety on, that I’m not the only one who feels this way. This is a shared feeling among her patients. That’s a problem. I no means want Ms.Webber to be terminated or without financial compensation but there must be some kind of correction action for this. She’s the face of the company. & the mission that Baymark preaches doesn’t align with her work ethic here as a director or employee. Patients shouldn’t be afraid to report or consult with their counselor or the director. They should feel safe to disclose any information. She does not provide that environment to her patients. As patients walk around the clinic distressing that “Oh Camay has an attitude, be careful” or “Camay is on one today” or worse “Camay is here” with a discern attitude. That’s not okay. I try to avoid/ prevent conflict as much as possible but when it becomes overwhelming, I must speak up. Today was the day. I simply could not hold my tongue and allow myself to be treated such a way no more. Please make action. Mine and others’ recovery depends on it.

Please make sure you fix this issue . I believe when people surrender themselves to treatment they also surrender themselves to be treated with respect a dignity . Professionalism should be top priority nothing less .
