NoHo Recovery would recommend
I am 19 years old and I have been in and out of treatment for 7 years straight. NoHo is truly the best program I have ever been too and all the staff are amazing and extremely helpful and caring. And a huge thanks too… Ryan Mixion, Michael Donlan, Alex Rimbiach, Jeremy McAllister. Truly has change how I felt so fast and the best program I’ve ever been too! So if you are seeking help please come to NoHo Recovery it will seriously change your life and a life you deserve.
Noho has been such a blessing in helping me with my recovery. I’ve been in recovery for 3 years and no treatment center has ever allowed as much time, given as much empathy, set me up with a great team of… counselors/therapists/psych… etc… Noho truly gives you the tools to push forward and to succeed. They allow you to express your creativity and be yourself which I believe is SO important in recovery. Jessica and Jeremy are also wonderful house managers, they are always there for you when you need them, great support! The groups are also amazing, the facilitators know recovery because they’ve been there. They speak the truth and their actions and attitudes match— no BS with them. You’re learning from real people who have turned their lives around and have beautiful lives now because of it. If you want to go far in life you have to surround yourself with people who want the same— every person here is exactly that.
I love this place. There has been so much help and healing. The staff are incredible and the groups are so wonderful
Hi, just wanted to write a quick review and express my appreciation. Me and my man have been coming here since beginning of january and they really have listened to our needs, they take a great approach in recovery,… discovery, artistic opportunities and possibilities in life. I would 100% recommend this program. Ryan, Jenna, Chico, Mikey, Gary, Eddy, Rebecca, Joe, Laura, Ari, Jeremy and Jess have helped me achieve certain goals that are shaping me as a new person. Many other staff have been more than willing to help me in my recovery as well. They don’t just see you as insurance checks, they really tend to your needs as an individual and I recommend this program to anyone who seeks and has artistic talent. ❣️🫶🏼
I attended this PHP sober living program expecting ethical leadership and real clinical support. Instead, what I experienced was negligence, exploitation, and an environment that often felt unsafe. For months, I never… saw a therapist despite being enrolled in a program that billed insurance for full clinical treatment. The promises made before admission disappeared once I arrived. It felt clear that keeping beds full and billing insurance mattered more than providing meaningful care. Serious concerns about leadership also surfaced during my stay. Staff members themselves disclosed that the program director had been involved in financial misconduct that was uncovered internally. This was not a rumor among clients — it was something discussed and discovered by staff. That alone speaks to the instability and lack of oversight within the organization. In another deeply disturbing incident, a client reported being sexually assaulted and filed a police report. Residents were later told that security footage connected to the incident had been deleted or was unavailable. The situation was not handled with the urgency or transparency that such a serious allegation demands. Staff boundaries were routinely violated. House managers were hired without stable recovery time, and inappropriate romantic relationships between staff and clients occurred openly. Repeated relapses were ignored, even when they jeopardized the safety of the house. Living conditions were sometimes unsanitary, including urine-stained mattresses. They have people read these reviews and try and get them deleted or already have. There have been reviews about them that they managed to delete , so I will be watching and reposting if needed because this company needs to be held accountable and everyone who reads these reviews, needs to see the truth. I also have proof of everything listed. Recovery is life-or-death. In my experience, this program prioritized money over safety and ethics. I cannot recommend it to anyone seeking real help.
I sit here with SS hoping to get relief. These people are essentially the opposite of conceited. Big ups. Big.
From day one, the staff treated me with respect, patience, and genuine care. They didn’t just focus on sobriety—they focused on helping me rebuild structure, accountability, and confidence in my life. The team truly… shows up. Whether it was support staff, management, or clinicians, everyone was consistent, communicative, and invested in my progress. I always felt safe, heard, and supported—even on the hard days. This place didn’t just help me stay clean, it helped me learn how to live again. If you or someone you love is serious about recovery and wants a program that actually cares, I would absolutely recommend this center.
I want to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service provided by Sydney, who has been our house manager this review is for her. Her professionalism and care have truly been a bright spot. Sydney is… incredibly thorough with managing medication lists and always stays updated with hospital visits. Her approach is consistently caring, warm, and reliable, which we value greatly. She is a top-notch professional, and we highly recommend her services
NoHo Recovery, I could not say enough good things about it. Ryan Young and Jeremy helps tremendously in helping get into the program. Ryan Mixon and Jenna and the best at what they do and want to help people succeed.… The house managers Jessica, Jeremy, Paul, Sydney, Eddie, Chico and wonderful. They make the stay such a comfortable place to be. Just like family. If anyone one needs help, do not hesitate to reach out because this facility is 5 starts hands down. Thank you NoHo for what you do for me and the clients. It’s unbelievable!
NOHO Recovery has the most resources out of any treatment ive been to! They have a huge fellowship connection and there staff is on point with it , I highly recommend NoHo recovery, they truly do heal and change lives
I was extremely reluctant to go to treatment. After completing the program, I have nothing but good things to say about NoHo. It took some time and they supported me in many ways. I'm genuinely proud of what ive… accomplished here. We're lucky to have these places as an option because historically doing it alone wasn't cutting it. I am grateful for the help I was offered. My family is amazed and words cant express how thankful we are. 5/5
NoHo Recovery saved my life. They provided tools and outlets that helped me grow in more ways than one. From the various treatment opportunities to the facilitator’s immersive groups, belonging to a healthy sober… community has never felt so warm and welcoming. Intensive therapies like TMS and EMDR are readily available and life changing. This program allowed me to experience true recovery and gain life long skills that’ll improve my future quality of life.
No Ho recovery isn’t just a place to get drug tested and housed for a few months while they collect insurance checks. They actually want to see their clients succeed and have tons of avenues to do so. They take group… therapy seriously and are focused on helping people. It’s pretty rare to find that in LA.
This Place Truly Changes Lives Coming to NOHO Recovery was the best decision I’ve ever made. When I arrived, I was broken, unsure if I could ever turn my life around. The team here welcomed me with open arms and gave me… hope when I didn’t have any left. Because of NOHO Recovery , I now have the tools, strength, and clarity to live a healthy, sober life. I will forever be grateful for the care and guidance I received here. If you’re struggling with addiction, this is the place that can truly help you find your way back.
Being at Noho recovery has not only changed my physical well being, but my emotional and spiritual. Four months ago, I was stuck in my rinky-dink little Iowa town with no hope, staring down the bottom of a bottle. For… the longest time, I didn’t think I had a future ahead of me. I was at the peak of my addiction. And had nothing to look forward to. When I arrived at Noho recovery I was worried about my future still but after my first week there, I realized that my worries were unnecessary. They were incredibly accommodating, compassionate, understanding, and accepting. They have not only helped me get sober but they have helped me gain the skills I need to stay sober. As a Gay/Hispanic Individual I was worried about finding a place that was accepting and understanding. Ryan Young the housing Director accommodated all my needs as needy as they were. (I have a lot of needs lol) Jenna showed me that I am capable of doing anything I set my mind to. And Ryan Mixon and Brandon O’connell provide numerous opportunities to help us have stability after treatment ends. Groups at Noho Recovery aren’t like other places. They come from a holistic and loving standpoint. Where they don’t just target your sobriety needs, but your mental needs. I have been diagnosed with autism and BPD. Two incredibly difficult diagnosis to overcome and improve. I have been with Noho for 3 months now and not only have I seen improvement in my self and my future. My family and friends have noticed the same. Every day at Noho recovery is like hanging with friends. Yes sometimes friends have ups and downs but so does life. Thank you, Noho recovery for everything you’ve done for me and giving me a chance at a healthy sober future.
NoHo recovery this program help me to build my life and I’m so grateful and I’m so appreciative of everyone at NOHO they are one of the best programs to be at I have been more then a year sober thanks to NoHo. I thought… I could never be able to enjoy life and now I have everything I ever wanted that was my sobriety and my life. I am the best version of myself thanks to NoHo.
I can’t express how thankful our family is for NoHo Recovery. My brother attended and from the moment he walked through their doors, he was greeted with warmth and understanding. The staff truly went above and beyond to… support him every step of the way. They created a safe space for him to heal and grow, and their dedication made a real difference in his life. We've seen such a positive change in him since he completed the program. It’s heartwarming to see him thriving again, and we owe so much of that to the incredible team at NoHo. If you’re looking for a place that genuinely cares and is committed to making a difference, I can’t recommend them highly enough. We are forever grateful for their help!
NOHO Recovery’s IOP was a huge help in my recovery! The staff are supportive, very friendly and helpful, and really care about your progress. The program gave me structure and many different tools I actually use in my… daily life. I’m really grateful for my opportunity here!
The staff at NoHo Recovery is amazing—genuinely caring and always went above and beyond to support me personally. The housemates were outgoing and welcoming, and the strong sense of family in the community made all the… difference. NoHo didn’t just help me recover—they saved my life. Forever grateful.
NoHo Recovery has transformed my life—period. If you’re looking for a treatment center that doesn’t just treat symptoms but actually nurtures the soul back to life, this is the place. I’ve been to so many programs in… the past, and nothing comes close to the environment NoHo has created. It’s not sterile or robotic—this place is alive with purpose, love, humor, and real transformation. The staff here are all legends. From the top down, you can very clearly feel that this isn’t just a job to them—it’s a mission. What sets NoHo apart is the balance—you get structure without suffocation, freedom without chaos, and deep healing without fake fluff. They actually use cutting-edge, front-line modalities (which I love) and bring in group leaders who are the real deal—people who’ve lived it, studied it, and know how to guide others through it. Ryan Mixon in particular was the first person outside of my immediate family and friends who saw me for my gifts and potential right away and has stood by my growth every step of the way. He’s an incredible person with profound wisdom and foresight. It’s also one of the few places I’ve been where creativity and authenticity are encouraged—not stifled. I’ve laughed more here than I have in years. I’ve also cried, grown, and faced some of the deepest parts of myself… but always with support. Whether you’re just beginning your journey or trying again after one or a thousand falls, NoHo doesn’t judge. They meet you where you’re at—and then walk with you all the way to where you’re meant to go. If you want a place that believes in you even when you don’t yet believe in yourself—come here. Thank you, NoHo, for reminding me and giving me the unconditional love and space to be who I really am. —Helix
