I went into the ER for severe stomach pain, nausea, and back pain 9/9/2026. It did not take long to go back and get checked. The ER nurse assigned to me was so knowledgable, friendly, and patient to check in on me. I… felt safe with her even in the midst of what was happening to me. The ultrasound was quick and before the ER doctor came back in the room the surgeon beat him to my bedside. Dr Thomas Kelley (Fort Bragg transplant) came in professional, patient even in my emergency and explained what was happening to me. His confidence gave me confidence and peace. He did not waste time, he was setting it all in motion with urgency and his bedside manner was amazing. I hope he is staying with Eisenhower a very long time. The surgical team was handling getting everything ready as I was a quick case from the emergency room. (Soldiers were having a hard time figuring out who was staying since I was a last minute surgical add on.) They were more concerned about leaving than my health yet Ms. Tiffany Moore was an real time angel sent to be with me. She was professional and kind to stay with me throughout my surgery and recovery to ICU. When anxiety came she calmed me instantly with her presence. The anesthesiologist was thorough and quick. He stepped in to prep what was missed in the quick movement. The senior leaders who were taking care of me in my emergency amazed me at their level of care for me. I have not seen this level of dedication to care in a very, very long time. The ICU staff caring for me were Tiago Martins, Leea Langheld, SGT Gilbertson and Crystal Rodriguez were outstanding. They were patient with me even as I was in pain post-op. They were professional and advocated for me when all I could do was cry in pain. The excellent care of each of the staff who cared for me during a rough day gave me confidence that I was in the right place at the right time and I will recover well. I am so grateful to each one of them for taking good care of me.

If I could give this place zero stars, it wouldn’t be low enough. This hospital has sent me forms to fill out that were previously filled out by another patient, including a ,DOD number, work address, and all other… personal information. I have left family medicine with someone else’s tooth. I was assigned a psychologist that is openly sexist and had become so severe that I had my husband sit in my therapy appointments to keep The psychiatrist professional and respectful. All of this is bad, but the worst thing is I Have been waiting for results from a heart monitor I wore last year of April 2025, It is currently May 2026 and I’m being told that I have to wait another month for an appointment to receive my results. Save yourself, the struggle, the hassle, and the stress go somewhere else. It’s well worth the deductible.

We had a fantastic experience with Jaleah at the EAMC Pharmacy. We came in with the understanding from a previous visit (2 days earlier) that we could pick up my medications because that individual would activate them.… We did another Q number on 30 April 2026 and was called to Jaleahs window. She confirmed that the doctor put them in but they had not be activated. Jaleah was so considerate and helpful that she took the time to activate the meds and had us wait while she completed the task….instead of sending us home as with our first situation. Her professionalism and compassion truly stood out. Employees/team member’s like her make a huge difference in patient care and for the overall positive impact on others. She is truly a stand out member of the EAMC Pharmacy, please keep her forever! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I have been trying to recognize the compassionate and excellent care of The Pulmonary Care Doctors that I feel helped instrument prolonged life for my husband. He had pretty much been told why bother doing anything else… because we know it's bad and you are getting worse. Then L. MAJ Matthias Williams stepped in and said that's not acceptable. He checked him out and truly cared. Unfortunately, he was sent out on assignment, Then we met, LTC Jason Unger, someone I will always remember being the kindest, most knowledgeable, most dependable, and most hard working doctors I have ever met. The hardest months of my husband's illnesses included many visits to Pulmonary Clinic where the staff was almost like family. He many times in ICU with great care. He was sent out to Wellstar when all options ran out. It was awful. Three doctors told him he would stay there and die. He wanted to go home. They refused. He begged several times. They said he would die before he got there. We finally got an ambulance to take him home. He was still alive on Monday so I called Dr Unger. He asked us to come in. Ray was put back in ICU. Dr Unger performed a very painful procedure that may somewhat seal his lung . It gave me 2 more months with Ray. I will forever be greatful.

I went there for a inginal hernia surgery, and Im not. going to lie, I was a little concerned about the stereotypical quality of Army doctors. HOWEVER, I had no issues at all with any part of the process. MAJ Coffin… (yeah I know lol) was amazing. She was the surgeon, and she did an amazing job. Im about 5 months post-surgery, and I've had Zero issues. Pretty happy with the repair to be honest.

I went to the Beneficiary Services Office to find information about a referral that I had not received. Ms. Palmer met me and informed me that that office was not in the hospital any more and that I had to call. I… explained that I had called a few times and even left a message, but no one had returned my call. She promptly asked for my Id Card and proceeded to look in the system. She told me that the second consult for outside referral had been cancelled, but she could not see why. She suggested that I get the referring physician to contact them. Then, after my thanking her for being so kind and helpful, she said, "Early Happy Birthday," having seen the date on my card. NOW, that is "Customer-Friendly service" that is worthy of "5-Star." I gave a 4-star because there is no reference in the hospital that Referral Services are not within the building.

They don't come back to you when you write a negative ICE comment but here they comment on the positive ones. If I get lab done or other procedures no one gets back to me. I always run after doctors to discuss results… even though front desk schedules phone conversation but doctor fails to call me. Physician prescribes medication without search for cause. Now I literally do my own research and read my own lab tests after printout from patient records. Everything from scheduling an appointment to having heard about my results is so time consuming and delays further med care. Here I experience the worse med care in nearly twenty years of being a military spouse. Newest update after a year, nothing has changed. Had the most unpleasant visit with Dr. Jarrio being rude, incompetent and lazy. Appointments are now scheduled months out, lab results are still ignored to discuss. As of 2026 update, they need more military personell in place. Civilians are rushing through care, are stressed out and not creating a welcoming atmosphere. The care provided is not consistent, with changing doctors and nurses for every appointment. The patient needs some kind of knowledge of his health issue to conter nurses and doctors otherwise the care will not meet the patient's expectations. They also have unrealistic BP and BMI guidelines in place. Be alert, ask questions, your health matters!

First, we waited a long time for my daughter’s wellness check. Then, they don’t even have a nurse come in to do the immunizations. You have to go back out to the waiting room and then be re called back inside to the… immunization room. This process took over an hour. Then, the nurse almost gave my daughter the incorrect set of immunizations for 15 months. As she brought in the vaccines, it looked like a lot to me so I asked what she was getting. She listed off vaccines that I knew my daughter already had previously. I told her that’s incorrect and she said the system was showing she needs them. Again, I stated it’s wrong and so she asks ME what she needs… I said please go ask the doctor who went through the vaccine list. Finally the nurse said “oops, almost gave the wrong ones” as a joke and went back to get the proper vaccines. She proceeded to tell me their system said my daughter was behind on various vaccines and it must be incorrect. It was very incorrect… but luckily I keep a physical copy regarding all of my child’s vaccines and schedule. I have no idea why it wasn’t properly updated or why my daughter was very close to getting 4 wrong vaccines! After going back and forth for a bit, she finally got the correct vaccines. So negligent and irresponsible!

This place fails at communication and accountability. The receptionist at the ER was confusing because usually you talk to the receptionist through the window. However you have to be inside a small dark room with the… receptionist and there is no sign at the door that directs you about that that. Somehow the male receptionist got annoyed at me for not doing that. I never been to the military ER and even if I did, that kind of service was unacceptable!! The employees don't communicate at all and when that happens, patients have to wait for hours with no update. I was visiting my mom when all of the issue happened. I don't trust a hospital like this one

My grand daughters and I were visiting the area when one got sick. Took her to the ER on Eisenhower two days before Christmas. We had to get a little paperwork done, because I did not have her card with me, but it was… quick and took under 5 minutes. We were triaged immediately, and we were put in an exam room just as fast. The doctor on duty was in to see her in under 5 minutes. He checked her out, diagnosed her, suggested a shot instead of antibiotics. The nurse was in shortly after to administer her shot. We were in and out in under 2 hours. The longest wait was making sure there was no reaction to the shot. Everyone we encountered was polite, professional, and friendly. I highly recommend the ER!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! Went to the ER because I was very sick and it was only getting worse, they did “every” test and told me nothing was wrong... I didn’t believe them so I went to an urgent care, my test came… back VERY quickly and I was positive for Covid. Not to mention they will not try to help you if they don’t think the issue is serious enough. Please go get actual help with those who actually care about your well-being.

The doctors are never the same and you have to constantly explain your issues from the beginning every time you do a follow up. The pharmacy is complicated. They changed the old way you just pull a ticket and wait and… now you have to call in or text, wait, and then come for the medicine out of a box with your code: it’s so frustrating and truly a waste of time.
