I was frustrated about not being able to find any mental health help after a traumatic injury when I did a walk in at Ridgeview. They got me in the same day and I met with a counselor named David. He was absolutely… fantastic. Not only did he truly listen and evaluate, he also gave me resources and direction on where to go for further help. He really cared about me as an individual and set me on the path to find the right type of help for my particular symptoms of PTSD. I am so grateful that Ridgeview was there when I needed it most. Thank you so much for your compassion and caring.
Filled out an immense amount of paperwork, waited for two hours, only to find out they don’t actually have the ability to get me the help I need. Sheesh.
I recently got back into ridgeview things were good at first but I was requesting anger management for like a couple months for my court and then I call back and suddenly they say they don’t have the recommendation and… that since I missed one of my med appointments (due to not having a ride) they couldn’t write any letter to the courts about it. The way the lady on the phone spoke to me was just sorta rude about it even though it wasn’t like I missed the appointment on purpose and I know I called months in advance for the anger management this isn’t cool because I really did need the anger management done before court and I now have to pay to take the class.
The people who work here really care about you and helping you. The drs work with you and actually take what you say seriously. I’m very thankful and grateful for the support and encouragement that you’ve given me and… no hospital food is great but they really try here. I just wanna say thank you so much for everything you’ve done to help me. I really respect this place and recommend it
I’ve used their services before but most recently when I tried going back for therapy. I went and got told to wait, I met with 2 people and my intake was 3 hours. It was only after I came back 4 days after not getting a… call back they promised that they bothered to tell me there would be a waitlist. I’m grateful people are able to get help here but I’ve had too many instances where something wasn’t communicated properly through this building and I was left waiting and wondering if I’d get a response. I would not recommend this to a loved one unless they don’t wanna drive to Knox. The staff care more than most facilities and are educated but the system is flawed.
It's my safe place the staff greets me when I arrive each day
My experience was wonderful. The girl who did my intake paperwork was an angel. Her name was Jennifer. She explained everything so that it was easy to understand and made me feel so peaceful. Walking through the door to… get help was so hard, but she made it easy. She reminded me that no matter where I am in life that I am still wanted and loved . Sobriety isn’t easy, but she is 100 percent the reason I am alive. Sometimes all you need is one person to remind you how loved and wanted you are and she is as that person for me. That day could have easy ended differently, but she changed something in me. Thankful for Ridgeview. The world needs more people like her.
I had a wonderful experience at Ridgeview. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. Summer at the front desk made the check-in process easy and comfortable — she’s always friendly, patient, and… professional. Jennifer, who handled my intake, was kind, understanding, and really took the time to listen to me and explain everything clearly. It’s not always easy reaching out for help, but the staff here truly make you feel supported and respected. I’m so grateful for the compassion and professionalism they showed me. Ridgeview is an excellent facility, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking quality mental health care.
Took a family member here today didn't do anything to help said they was going to have someone talk to them never happened so now I know why so many ppl commit suicide know one wants to help use to not be that way so… when ppl cry for help they get turned away
I went in for issues with my PTSD & was told "we do not do any testing before we prescribe medication." They're just guessing about your mental health and running a pill mill. Stay away from any "Medical Professional"… who talks about their job like it's mysticism. It's SCIENCE not magic!
very rude to anyone with alt lifestyles
Every experience I’ve had so far has been so lovely
Wow! A very helpful place indeed! I'd like to give a special kudos to Jennifer McKinney who was an absolutely amazing person! She greeted me with a smile. Made me feel warm, comfortable and invited. I was happy to be… there. Once she set my mind at ease, she quickly began assessing my needs. I made sure that she got me the help that I needed without any stress or worry. Her humor is unparalleled, yet she professionally handled herself and assisted me on my way! All in all I was seen in short order. The facility was a calming place and every staff member or some of the most benevolent folks I think I have ever met! Would recommend to go here if you're in a crisis or needing help or just looking for some resources to better yourself. You won't be let down. Thanks, Jennifer!
The lady at the front desk accuse me of yelling at her and hung up on me .total crisis actors not really there for your mental health when you need them the most.
They waste a lot of your time. They say you can see a psychiatrist the same day as starting with you but really, you have to wait for your care team to have a meeting. I think it's just easier to change insurance so I… can start seeing my psychiatrist again. They also do not prescribe any controlled substances. So beware of that.
Good people, kind, competent. The meds guy was an awesome dude. Wish I remembered his name. And Laura was so sweet and very knowledgeable and patient. The other skills group lady was awesome too, can't remember her name… either maybe Meredith. The people working the drink station were all awesome. And finally the provider team. I genuinely believe y'all made the correct diagnosis and prescribed appropriately.
The medical director refused to treat me but would offer no reason. I was in crisis but could not get assistance. I waited a month for them to review my medical records, then had to chase my intake worker (Erin) down… via telephone only to find out the medical director refused to treat me. There were no follow up questions asked after my intake. No one ever communicated with me. I was just left dangling in the wind. Total Nightmare.
This hospital employees some of the most caring employees. I was beyond depressed and struggling to survive and each one of them went above and beyond to help me.
The staff I’ve encountered are so awesome. Everyone is truly helpful.
I grew up in a toxic home surrounded by toxic people almost all my life. Ridgeview doesn't care about anything like that. You are treated like a horrible person when you do stand up for yourself at times. I was treated… like i was completely mentally handicapped. I just suffer from deppression and anxitey. And they expected me to take and tolerate everything that was said and done to me. I don't want trouble with anyone but i will defend myself if nessary. They don't care about their customers. They treat us like we are always the problem and are horrible people. I will never have anything to do with them again.
That place makes me feel like people actually care and genuinely want to make sure I get well. Thank you!
I came here after being assaulted, defamed and drugged by a parent. While the food was good and the hospitality was fine, some of the staff were awful. None of them helped my situation and instead listened to the parent… who's been abusing me for years (which is against their own conduct) this said parent constantly tried to call them to make sure no one believed me. There were staff who were also rude and automatically tried forcing schizophrenia pills on me (which came from said parent accusing me of such after collecting evidence of abuse) when there was zero evidence or suggestion of me having it. I said no countless times to stool softener medications and they still forced it onto me even after i left. There was a blonde haired woman who was always gossiping about me too, she acted just like that parent in law. I hated it. I can see why many don't suggest their kids nor anyone coming here. I don't recommend it.
