Rogers Behavioral Health – Kenosha Detox and Rehab Services

Rogers Behavioral Health – Kenosha delivers partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. Ask whether family can be involved and at what stage. Establishing what happens after the program ends is worth doing early.

Co-occurring mental health conditions are addressed alongside substance use, which is the approach the evidence supports. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. Whether medication is available is worth confirming at the outset. Ask what the assessment recommends before comparing anything else.

I did rogers php on telehealth for almost a month. They wanted to push extra medication on me when I was already happy with what I had. I asked to be switched to groups that would be more helpful for me and they did not… switch me. I discharged early due to finding it unhelpful for what I was going through and I didnt learn anything for my symptoms. I was looking for extra help but I just got a waste of money.

Yea their "orientation" for IOP. Was a technology check and they told me I'd meet with doctors while admitted. Why are we talking doctors when I'm not admitted. I rejected them due to poor experience before orientation.… They tried so hard unlike my care coordinator ms Brown. So I'll give 2 stars for their effort but the entire experience was unpleasant.

I cannot recommend the MHAR program enough. Dr. Logan is truly one of the most down-to-earth and compassionate people I have ever worked with. After struggling with different medications and feeling discouraged, they… patiently guided me through the process, and for the first time, I finally feel like the right medication plan is in place. Amber was also hands down one of the best therapists I've ever bet met. Her ability to listen, connect, and truly understand what I was going through made all the difference. Im finally able to wake up day after day to a life worth living and I cannot thank either of them enough for that.

I have been a patient at rogers twice, once in 2021 and one in 2023/2024. Rogers did not only save my life, but Rogers gave me my life back. I will forever be grateful for the staff who I still think about to this day.

I agree with some of the other reviews. Horrible place. My son was out patient in Kenosha program for about 2 months. Their treatment plan for anxiety is to push meds and even when a parent states repeatedly that they… do not want their kid on meds. They said coping skills weren’t working after a week into the program and went right back to med pushing. I also think they have too many kids in the program. My son said he wouldn’t get to talk to the therapist that much. One time she went two weeks without meeting with him. What really showed me I’d never send my kid back there was when I tried to pick him up early because his Dr. referred I should bring him to the ER for medical concerns I had with him and the receptionist tried telling me I couldn’t pick him up. Beyond ridiculous. I did eventually get to pick him up early but had to talk to the therapist and the nurse had to check him over first even though his Dr. said to take him.

1 year later and I still use the skills they taught me all the time. The PHP was 6 weeks / 5 days a week. It was intense some times, but ask yourself, what is it worth to have a life where you can handle the challenges… thrown at you? Just remember, you get out of the program what you put in it. You have to do the work. Your mental health team is just there to guide you. (My team was Bri, Chelsey & Desi) Thank you!

I discharged recently, it was on july 2nd of 2024. Everyone was so sweet there, im 14. I had a really great experience and i really enjoyed talking to Courtney and DJ, Desi was really sweet aswell. But ive been needing… to talk to someone recently and i wanna talk to Courtney, i do know that i can email them in the 90 day limit but i have no idea what any of their emails are or how to find them. So i feel as if i'll never be able to speak to them again which really makes me sad because after i left, some stuff has happened and i wanna talk to someone. I had really strong emotional attachments to a lot of the counselors, i'll miss them.

I was discharged from the DBT program in like october ish after being in since august the program for children struggling with mental health problems. Miss Sophie was best person ever. She changed my life in many ways… she was great at her job. She made getting up everyday and driving to Rogers worth it. She made treatment not boring and you can tell she really cared about us. I will never forget her. And Miss Amber is also someone I will never forget. I can’t say if I would be here right know if it wasn’t for Rogers. Rogers truly saved my life. They don’t discharge you unless they truly think you are ready. If you or someone you know if thinking about going to Rogers I recommend 100% also the art therapist was one of the best people. Miss Desi showed me how to express my feelings in so many ways related to art. I will forever thank Rogers to getting me to where I am today.

My son was experiencing depression and anxiety. He was admitted to Brown Deer facility. The first few days went well then staff turned over and the replacement staff dropped the ball in his treatment. And he was forced… to room with a young man that threatened his life nightly. He begged to have his roommate changed.

In my experience with trying to get a family member in for virtual inpatient services, there was nothing but trouble. Multiple phone calls and phone interviews with an incredibly rude receptionist who seemed completely… unwilling to help in any way. Would not recommend even TRYING to get in.

My experience was A Blessing. I checked in November 5, 2019 on my 41st birthday. Full of TEARS, HURT, ANGER, PANIC ATTACKS, DEPRESSION, ANXIETY AND UNBALANCE.I was in the parcial hospital stay. I learned ALOT ABOUT ME.… Exactly what I came there for. I learned so much to help myself like 'selfcare, ' mindfulness, behavior activation, how to identify symptoms, how to identify depress, I learned who and what was My triggers. I learned why It took me 10-12 years to complete cosmetology school and other educational programs , and why I could not keep a job, ( because I was battling depression). I was able to identIfy so much about me. I thank My Doctor Margareet N. At Family Pschiatrics, Kenosha, WI for referring Me here. I thank the whole team who helped me through recovery. ESPECIALLY "BRE". I am greatful I took the first steps to Help myself by following My doctors referral and going to Rogers Behavioral Health Kenosha, WI. I DO RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY. Because Of Rogers and learning about My mental Health, I can help my children and others get help with Mental health challenges. Because Of Rogers and being able to identify my depression for so many years. I was able to move forward with My ~U Did It Gurl Empowerment, Inc~ And credit my logo for the company with A green background ( To represnt Mental Health Awareness) because I NOW UNDERSTAND WHY, THIS GIRL ( Sophia) TOOK SO LONG TO COMPLETE ANYTHING. It's because of The mental health illnesses I have been battling for 20 years. I am still believing JEHOVAH GOD TO HEAL ME OF ALL MENTAL HEALTH CHALLENGES. I am Truly greatful for My partial hospit stay here. ~ONCE WE LEARN WHO WE ARE, WE CAN RESPECT OTHERS FOR WHO THEY ARE, WE MUST WORK ON OURSELVES , INSIDE OUT first before blaming anyone of of past. ~ ~I AM SOPHIA YAMIA~ IG: @udiditgurlempowerment ~Free My Mind~

Worst place on earth. Their intake people are beyond horrible, do not know the first thing about behavioral health and treat people beyond horribly. Their doctors only want to make everyone worse and do not care about… what is good for people, just their pocket book!

They lost a star when the big guy upstairs (their supervisor I believe over the building) was requested by a group member to address some changes they were undergoing and he was rude and said to a bunch of people trying… to get help “there’s the door. You don’t have to be here.” Besides him, the only other complaint is about certain people I’m stuck with in group but you can’t help that. I really enjoyed my therapist Tammy, Aaron, and the experiential therapist. They are my highlight and Tammy worked hard to ensure I was going to the right place afterwards. I cannot say anything for their IOP as I only went for their PHP. I found myself getting better day by day, though it took me 5 weeks. That’s on me though not the workers. Staff were always friendly except that one guy I mentioned earlier telling us to get out.

Our 13 year old son was referred here for help. He had a mental health evaluation with a behavioral health physician and it was determined that Rogers would be a great place for him since he was dealing with possibly… multiple disorders. Intake interview was done over the phone and we never actually saw a doctor! It was determined that his case was not “severe” enough for Rogers. Even though he portrayed symptoms at a very young age it didn’t matter. We were back at the beginning. Getting help is very important and to be told his case isn’t “severe” enough is very unprofessional. Didn’t even provide us as with alternatives. Our son is now getting partial hospitalization somewhere else and we have to drive 4 hours a day for it. I’m not sure why they would turn away a patient seeking help when another physician felt the need. Mental illness is a real thing not a joke. Very unprofessional and bad experience here. Good luck to anyone seeking to go here for help.
