Scioto Paint Valley Mental Health Ctr – Circleville Detox and Rehab Services

Scioto Paint Valley Mental Health Ctr – Circleville carries a listing for partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

Addiction and mental health are worked on at the same time here. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Scioto Paint Valley Mental Health Ctr – Circleville Address, Location and Contact Information

You will find this provider at 145 Morris Road, Circleville, Ohio, 43113. Pickaway County covers this area. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. Admissions lines are frequently busiest early in the week, which is worth knowing if the first attempt fails.

If I could give zero stars I would. The director and the nurse are unprofessional/rude. Good luck getting any of the slime to do an ounce of work.

Dr Shela Forbellah has some very serious personal issues of her own. After she mentioned that she works at the Pickaway County jail herself I looked her up on the internet. I told her that and because of her own… insecurities she freaked out and quit seeing me. If it wasn't for all of the people that are court ordered to go there this place would have been out of business years ago. Stopping services to a patient that has been having Anxiety so bad that it landed them in the emergency room and showed up on a EKG as a serious delay on the top of my heart. After some extensive testing over the next few weeks the Cardiologist explained that it was very likely that it was my extreme anxiety. This whole thing of stopping seeing me because she took me looking her up on the internet the wrong way has my Anxiety and blood pressure through the roof again. And her nurse literally just called me while I was typing this and the whole mess has me where I can't even think straight to finish this review at this point in time. The person I trusted to help me took things the wrong way. A lot of us look people up on the internet to see who we are dealing with. It doesn't mean anything other than we want to know who we are dealing with or putting our trust in. This just shouldn't have came to this at all and in fact what I did tell her I seen was meant as a compliment but she was the one who twisted it around in her own head and made something bad out of it. This is my new honest review at this point in time. It will be edited later on when my brain settles down enough to think more clearly to type things out better.

Please do not seek mental health care here. staff is not knowledgeable on how to deal with mental health patients. They will talk down to you be rude and condescending. You are not allowed to respectfully voice your… opinion. It is my advice to please seek help somewhere else if you have the ability to.

I have went here for a few years for counseling. Don’t go regularly like you’re supposed to. But one thing I’m sick of is a certain employee here. Vicki (I think is how you spell it) always has this snotty demeanor… every time and tbh I get sick of it. Makes me not want to come back to be honest. No, I’m not in here constantly like I should be. But that gives you no right to be so snotty. And you would think it’s an every once in a while thing that she’s so snotty. Nope it’s every time I go in there. I normally keep my mouth shut but it’s getting ridiculous. And yes, I’m normally respectful and everything when I come in there. But dang at least be kind and not so snotty. Another thing is, counselors are always leaving from here too. So don’t be surprised if you start counseling and your new counselor you just got leaves.

This place is super awesome. Ever since they moved their staff has been on the ball. Maybe it was just the old building. Full of negative energy and whatnot. If not for the mistreatment my wheelie bins keeping me up at… night I would never have needed the help of these fine folks. Thank you Barbara & SPVMH I don't care what they say about y'all.

I would do a half of a star if I could. This place just keeps becoming worse and worse.

After 6 months, I was worse than when I got there. The only person the listened to me was the psychiatrists nurse. They simply threw medications on me hoping things will work but not listening when I complain about… things not working or when I say that the side effects are unbearable. I went through 3 councilors in 6 months time. I felt like I just kept getting shuffled around. I transferred to new horizons in lancaster and pickerington. I finally feel like my self again thanks to new horizons.

Person I was talking to loved to gossip about other clients she seen, she also said in a report to a SSI judge that I abused my medicine with alcohol on a daliy bases, I dont even drink. They can't keep therapist longer… than a month it seems and if one decides to leave they don't even bother to tell you, instead you'll play phone tag for weeks and that's only because they are looking for some other shmuck to waste your time. Repeat this process a lot.

Called multiple times to schedule an appointment for my brother to talk to someone but always lied and never would schedule, only went once and afterwards told us to call to make another appointment and would never get… back to us. Don’t waste you’re time trying to come here. Unless you wanna waste you’re time! Don’t see how they still have a job!
