Sinai Addiction Recovery – Baltimore Detox and Rehab Services

The register shows Sinai Addiction Recovery – Baltimore providing detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The withdrawal stage is clinically observed, which is what makes it safer than stopping alone. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

Sinai Addiction Recovery – Baltimore Address, Location and Contact Information

Records give the address as 2401 West Belvedere Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland, 21215. The city lies within Baltimore City County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. Journey time and parking are not trivial details when treatment runs several times a week over months.

Phone ahead about parking, access and what the first appointment covers. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

The physicians are fine, but you have to get through the absolutely indifferent front desk and nursing staff and it just isn't worth it. Hold out for a place where the staff actually care to respond to your requests for… refills of the (totally standard, not a controlled substance) medication the doctor prescribed to help keep you alive.

Tried calling to check on a family member two days in a row...first time a security guard answered and hung up on me when I tried to ask for the nurse, second time I got thru to a nurse working midnight shift, third… time was placed on hold for over 20 minutes before I got a click in my ear and fourth time they hung up on me. I'm really disappointed that people do not have the skills to work with telephones or know how to take messages...

If you want to die, go to Sinai. Had a serious illness that I was supposed to see a specialist for, then 2 hours before the visit I get a call saying my PCP never sent the referral. They even lied and said they called… and left a message when they didn't. I have to go somewhere else if I want to live before they put "sorry no referral" on my tombstone.

I went here after waiting from 1-10pm I had to ask someone when would I be seen and she seemed frustrated and was like we will see you when we can. She finally rolled me into be discharged. The provider( word they use… here ) saw me told me I had an upper respiratory infection since it was so late he was going to start the first dose. They gave me the Medicine. They next morning I filled my prescription and there was no z-pack. I called the Hospital I was told to come back and the provider would give me the prescription but after driving 20 min the provider refused to give the prescription. When I asked why, he said your notes say you have a viral infection and you don’t get antibiotics for that. They said they had no notes of being given the first dose and if I felt like I needed it I could get seen again to get diagnosed and I would have to wait as if I was never seen and use my insurance all over again. The biggest thing is they said they don’t know what they gave me for the first dose of medication. That’s scary there is no note. I could have been allergic and they would not know what they gave me. So all of this I don’t know what’s wrong with me.

The emergency room staff need Jesus they sent me home with my blood pressure 168/143 but they are saying that nothing is going on with me but I keep getting light headedness and dizzy and falling out and waking up on… the floor

Did not listen to my concern I was having side effects to a medication and the doctor refused to take off that medication.

I really like Mrs. Ellen Robinowitz, Mrs. Judith Gallor, McKenna and Dr. Ashley. These 4 medical staff members are very compassionate, understanding and professional with their patients. They will not discuss your… personal medical information or treat you like a joke at the end of a punch line. They're also very knowledgeable about adult mental health patients to include veterans and Black Americans. Also the administrative staff members are very kind and helpful to all patients.

Sinai Hospital sets a very high standard for healthcare. My husband has multiple healthcare issues and had been seen at a major University system for years with very unsatisfactory results. We have been more than… pleased with our interactions with all of the doctors at Sinai Hospital.

The doctors and nurses are always so pleasant. I think the wait can be rather long but what hospital wait isnt long! The place is always clean. Today the floor smells like a dirty mop but loaded with bleach..if that… makes any sense to you lol. Overall I will continue to come here because of the good treatment. Def not my favorite place to be!
