Spencer Recovery Centers Florida Inc – Saint Augustine

The Doctor is fantastic and staff pretty well rounded. They could have offered more on the PTSD side, that is why I was there from the GULF WAR forward in recovery, but they allow church and a BIBLE, so it was very… effective and I'm hoping that they re-open and allow for DIGNITY to be recognized by other's!

DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY OR SEND ANYONE YOU KNOW TO THIS FACILITY!!! My best friend went here for mental health. She was provided treatment one or two times every other week, and group therapy in between all that!!… She didn't need group therapy!!! She needed to talk to a therapist about 500 things that she had going on that had been going on during her lifetime! Her mom died at a very early age, And she's dealt with countless other things throughout her life , which she really needs help getting past !! It's been extremely difficult for her the past 5 years! And then she decides to finally reach out and get help! This place, is a joke!! She's been there 5 months, and in the past 3 days they all the sudden tell everyone they are shutting down!! She's not done with the program, but they are making everyone leave!! They make hundreds of thousands of dollars off of each patient, how in the world are they not able to stay open is beyond me!!!

Do not go here if you want real help. They are liars and scammers. They charged my parents insurance 3/4 of a million dollars for a period of 3 month stay and the therapists aren’t worth a damn and don’t try to help

This is the first time I've been in a treatment center. The faculty is outstanding, 5 star. They care. Always courteous. My favorite nurse is a lady named Toni. She just has what it takes to make my mind go somewhere… else than on my problems of the day. She keeps a close eye on everything going on and the clients as they pass her station. She recognizes symptoms and actually stops me to see if I need anything to help at that moment. She's a great listener and I will miss her so much after I leave to start my new life of freedom from drugs and alcohol and my daily overall mental health. I want to thank the people of Spencer's recovery for the fine work they do morning, noon and night to keep everyone comfortable and in good spirits. I would suggest to anyone having difficulty in daily life to seek help. It's here. They are here for you. I loved my experience here and Toni the nurse was absolutely amazing. The staff here was super professional and I was able to learn new life skills on top of gaining new coping skills.

I was in the worst stage of my life I was evicted from my home in Augusta ga and my wife passed away and facing homelessness with my two elderly dogs and was ready to give up I was lost in addiction, substance abuse… combat related ptsd but here I found that I had a desire to not use or drink I know now I can trust again I was definitely lost in life but now I feel a I got a fresh start a new beginning a new chapter thanks to Dr. Pauls by the sea recovery the staff were amazing The people I met, Paul had the same desire to get better and thanks to Dr. Paul he was covering I was able to obtain four months recovery and looking forward to moving on to a healthier life. Thanks to the staff here all professional and all willing to help. Move on, thank you guys I wouldn’t have gotten this far without you I am truly thankful for everything

Good Afternoon! About 7 days ago I wrote a review about Spencer's Recovery based on 2 roommates I (HAD). They are no longer in residence. I based the whole facility on those 2 individuals actions. I was wrong. Once I… notified a staff member both where Uber away to do the drinking and drugging they preferred. So I deleted my comment and I apologize to Mr. Spencer and his Staff. I asked to come here for the 3rd time because I knew the treatment is 200 time's better than the VA is . So if you are wanting treatment that's going to get you started on the way to Recovery. This place is Wonderful. The staff is kind and very professional. The are meeting my needs Al Chris Erica and George are wonderful counselors. I’m enjoying every minute here. It’s not for everyone. But I think it’s way… better than the inhuman treatment at the VA.

Never, ever, ever, ever go here. This place is so run down, it's so disgusting. It'll make your skin crawl walking in. Only 1 or 2 people have actually benefited from this place, and that's only because most of their… care was done outside of this facility. Do not go here, especially if you're a veteran. You will get treated like scum just like the facility. Crack was being distributed and a veteran tried to kill himself and had to be air lifted

Spencer recovery,was exactly what I needed I'm a veteran who suffers from PTSD and alcoholism. The fact is I have a service dog and not only was I allowed to bring her, it was a 12 step solution based program willing to… work together with me my dog Tika multiple therapist doing multiple styles of treatment!! I came here to stop drinking but what what I got was a new lease at life. I also am grateful for the fact that I know have a new relationship with my creator God!! I've learned to trust God clean house and help others...never in a million years could I have done it alone Thank you Spencer recovery 🙏 👊🇺🇲

I spent 8 months at Spencer's Recovery. It helped me develop a foundation for my future. I made the changes necessary to be successful and happy. Thank you Spencer's, you changed my life.

This facility is terrible. I went back in March for alcoholism. However, the staff are never on the same page. Completed my program, was offered an iop program, the facility never completed the agreement to hold my… meetings and sessions via zoom. Called the owner Chris Spencer, his fix was to quit my job and go 45 min to the meetings, one at 10 am and the other at 2 pm for 9 hours a week. This is impossible for someone who lives in another town. The agreement for iop was i would be able to complete my program through zoom. While i was there they had 4 relapses in the facility. Staff are not very attentive to what is coming into the building. Staff can not ever get the the systems they use to work (computers) to have group. The best thing we’re the veterans that were housed, that helped me with talks, honesty, and discussing the program.

I stay in the sober living facility at Spencer's Recovery Center in. Pete Beach Florida. I came here after 30-day recovery. In St Pete Beach Recovery Center in St Augustine Florida. Both experiences have been a… wonderful experience for . It has taught me a lot about myself and because of the sober living that I'm here now , it has continued my sobriety at approximately six months sober. Living in the sober living facility it has allowed me to continue my sobriety with a support and help of does S R C team. I'm in walking distance to my AA meetings, and I'm in walking distance to the beach and many stores in other sober activities. I love living here a man sober people which also helps in my recovery

Informative maintenance of sobriety but not good advocates for everyone. A select few are pampered and catered to like big babies needing a pacifier. Rules are not implemented on everyone. No equality. Now I definitely… have trust issues. Some staffs are stuck on stupid and parked on dum.

The staff is AMAZING especially the 3-11 shift with whom Mary, G, Tweety, Hannah, Jake, Sean, Jasmine, Tish, Travis, Don, maintenance crew; Travis, Jim, Chad, and Josh the driver I have all built a relationship with. I can honestly say I love these people, and I can also honestly say they care about us. What a great place to be proud of to upper management and owner Mr. Spencer. This place was a turning point in My life.it was more the a turning point .It was a jumping off Point I was five Years holmless before coming I change my life around from the streets to bien a full member of society I… had the best cousoler in the world witch until today is a deep friend that will always have roots to my heart I meet my best friend there and we took our life way up the latter I forever will never forget the ppl the land and the journey that pulled me out the slums

This is one of the few treatment centers who accepts couples, which was imperative to my husband and mines treatment. We went in August of 2019 and have been sober ever since. They have a truly knowledgeable and caring… staff for dual diagnosis programs which allow you to get to the heart of your issues not just substance abuse. I would recommend this facility to anyone dealing with any sort of chemical dependency.
