SMA Outpt and FL Assertive Comm Trt – Saint Augustine

Just called up this place for medical records because I use to do individual in person therapy sessions at this location they told me to check in at the main medical records center to fill out a release form I did all… that and tried calling back and it seems like they fully blocked my number how crazy is that and also claiming on my files that I never was there or at any other place doing any treatment!!?

Words can't express the gratitude I have for SMA Healthcare in St. Johns County in their assistance with my adult son's mental health challenges. More people need to know there are resources available for people in need… and the quality of people available to help. Special shout out to the counselor Robert Colon. He was instrumental in my son's recovery. And to Renee at the front desk who has always been so incredibly helpful!

Don’t put your loved one here. If you care for someone, please do not bring them here. The employees here have no concern for ethics or human rights; they bring more harm than help; professionalism here it is a myth.… It's as if respect and integrity doesn't exist in this facility. People are treated really poorly here. It’s traumatizing!!

I needed a specific therapy called EMDR due to traumatic incidents. I had difficulty finding a therapist with the licensing to perform EMDR at a reasonable price. However here at SMA my therapist Miss Nicole was able to… do exactly that, and thankfully they offered a sliding fee scale, so it was affordable. After I finished my therapy with Nicole, for the first time in my entire life , I no longer had intense suicidal urges and tendencies to self harm. If it wasn’t for SMA I wouldn’t have been able to get the help I desperately needed. I will forever be so grateful towards everyone here at SMA, you all truly helped save my life.

I switched over here from the Palatka office. Much more friendly clean environment and down to earth with patients and they are about the patients and not just here for a paycheck like the Palatka office.

Unethical nurses running that place. Stay away.

Been waiting in the lobby for over and hour past my appointment time, checked in hour ago still waiting ….. also they changed locations and didn’t think to msg the address in the appointment reminder. Workers are mid to… low tier and don’t seem to care

Please update your website to reflect that you no longer provide medication management services to uninsured, self pay individuals and refer them immediately out to other providers. Med management is only for insured… now. This should be on your site to save consumers time in looking for a provider.
