EPIC Recovery Center – Saint Augustine Detox and Rehab Services

EPIC Recovery Center – Saint Augustine carries a listing for detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Medical supervision covers the withdrawal period, where alcohol and benzodiazepines carry real risk. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

EPIC Recovery Center – Saint Augustine Address, Location and Contact Information

EPIC Recovery Center – Saint Augustine is located at 3574 U.S. Highway 1 South in Saint Augustine, Florida, 32086. Saint Johns County covers this area. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. The practical question of getting to appointments week after week is worth thinking through at the outset.

I'm so thankful that I was able to check in my loved one to this facility today. Dena was an angel over the phone! An absolute answer to prayer. When someone needs help... These are the people you want to help you. Anne… showed up in the Emergency room where we were at Ascension St. VINCENT and educated us about the process! Grant funding was available and I'm thankful to God that he completed his paperwork independently and is officially checked in !! 🙌 I'm looking forward to seeing my loved one clean and healthy ... Living life FREE from addiction.

Cheryl, Annie, Sylvia, and Dr. Rosa have supported me through my entire time at Epic, they’ve always celebrated my wins, and never stopped believing in me. I definitely didn't get here alone. A huge part of my clean… time and recovery journey is because of their love, guidance, and support.

When loved ones need support and you don’t know where to begin reach out. Ms. Anne Mountain was able to walk with me throughout an arduous journey. Once we turned the corner Ms. Cheryl Yerger was there in perfect… symmetry to continue the care needed for my family! Thank you Epic!

I just want to take a moment to share what a positive experience we've had with Annie M. Her care, concern and genuine compassion for the well being of all involved is above and beyond. It's rare and very special to… find this type of counseling and very grateful to have crossed paths with Annie. She truly makes a difference.

Do not go here for detox! I went for opiod withdrawals. They were only going to treat me with Klnonodine. That is a BLOOD PRESSURE medication. They also could have KILLED me. I brought my medications with me, which… included Klonopin and Seroquel. They were going to cut me off from both without any taper. I don't abuse either of those medications. I literally could have had seizures, a psychotic break, or a heart attack!!! And I told them twice on the phone the medications that I was bringing before I went there. The "physician" told me I would get Vistaril instead. I am not exaggerating! They literally could have KILLED me. Or caused PERMANENT PSYCHIATRIC DAMAGE. I am reporting then to the Florida department of health. They're going to either end or ruin someone's life if they are allowed to practice in such a reckless way!!!

I feel very fortunate to have the Epic Recovery Center MARS program to help me with a very balanced outpatient recovery program. The combination of medical and weekly support have given me what I need to stay sober. The… weekly meetings facilitated by Ann Mountain have been especially beneficial. I would certainly recommend the program to others.

Epic is amazing. Highly recommend — 10 stars if I could! ❤️ A huge thank-you especially to my coordinator Cheryl — she is an absolute angel who fought for me every single day, handled every detail with compassion, and… never let me fall through the cracks. Counselor Annie is incredible; her empathy, wisdom, and tough love pulled me out of some of my darkest moments. And Sue the nurse — wow. Her kindness, patience, and clinical expertise made me feel safe and actually cared for, not just treated. What sets Epic apart is that they never gave up on me, even when I had completely given up on myself. Cheryl, Annie, Sue, and the whole staff truly want your recovery and your best life — it’s not just a job to them, you can feel it. They believed in me until I could believe in myself again. If you or someone you love needs help, this is the place. I love these women with all my heart and will be forever grateful for Epic Recovery Center.

I had a great experience at epic recovery. The staff was very good to me I learned alot about recovery that makes a difference in my life today. I've been sober for a little over 4 months now. That is the most recovery… time I have had since I've been 11 years old I've been to 24 different programs and been a chronic relapser all my life I'm on the right path now and I continue to do so. Miss Madison Kenny was a great help she went over and beyond to accommodate me to my medical appointments when I was in treatment she was always there for me when I needed somebody to talk to.

The 5 star rating is for care coordinator Madison Kenny. I cannot say enough about her! She manages client assessments/enrollment, coordinating care, client follow ups, managing appointments, handling paperwork, jail… programs/classes and still finds the time to genuinely care about each client that walks through the door. She is an irreplaceable part of this organization and a perfect example of what true commitment to mental health/substance abuse care looks like.

This place is absolutely horrible now, what was once a great place now is horrible. The staff is horrible and act like thugs who don't care. All the good staff all resigned because of how the place has fell apart. It is… not a safe place at all. It's truly disheartening to see how this place went downhill so fast and it doesn't look like it's gonna change anytime soon. I do not recommend going here in the least bit. The staff is only there for a check, the patients come in and out them doors on a regular homeless basis and weapons and drugs are snuggled in without staff even caring. If you are serious about wanting help don't go here... seek elsewhere...

They told me to come in after 7 and my only ride got me there at 3. When I checked in a nurse came out and immediately treated me with absolute rudeness I asked her if I could wait she rudely asked me again why did I… come at 3 and I explained my only ride was at this time she spoke to me with complete attitude like I was stupid for coming after being told on the phone to come. I haven't even checked in yet and the nurse that came out was so rude to me. I'm going through extreme alcohol and benzos withdrawal and was treated horrible the minute I walked in. I was told this was a great place but the nurse told me I couldn't even sit in the lobby and wait so now I'm standing in the hot sun going through extreme withdrawals. This nurse or whoever she is should be fired.i thought this was a place for compassion but was just treated like a burden. She should not be in treatment whatsoever

I participated in the 30 day residential rehab at Epic and had an AWESOME experience. The staff and therapists are amazing - there are too many great people to mention by name. The counseling I received from our… therapists was top notch, and the Epic staff as a whole made sure that I had medication, housing, and all available financial resources set up upon my exit from the program. The food was good and the daily 12 step meetings prepared me for what to expect in recovery. The only room for improvement I can think of is that it would be nice to have a fenced in outdoor area or some sort of set up where patients could be outside more. We usually got to walk for at least 30 minutes - an hour each day, but it can sometimes be depressing to be stuck inside for hours on end. I would highly recommend the detox and/or residential program to anyone who is struggling with substance dependency.
