TLC Treatment Center – Mesa

I lived at TLC from February 2012 to November. It chanced my life. I went in humble and needed a new life. I only wish I stayed longer to figure out why I was an addict to begin with. I had a relapse months after… leaving but the knowledge I learned while I was there stayed with me. With addicts helping addicts sometimes things get messy. It was not a perfect program but it saved my life.

If this is the TLC that was on Roosevelt in Phoenix. My Uncle Jon enjoyed staying here. It kept him safe from falling off the wagon. He enjoyed going to the AA meetings. You all took very good care of him. I just wanted… to thank you again. May he Rest in Power. HE was still sober when he passed over and enjoyed every minute of being sober. Bless your staff and clients.

I refer a lot of people to TLC and some other 3/4 houses in the valley I've been clean for over 33 years and here recently I've been hearing things about management at TLC or at least house managers that can be a little… troubling and now looking at all these negative reviews on here I'm trying to figure out how much is truth and how much is fiction other sober living houses in the valley 2 but I hope what I'm hearing and reading are just people who are upset that it didn't work for them I don't know I haven't been at TLC as a resident or anything along those lines only thing I can say is I do do some 12step meetings in the valley and like I said I refer people to TLC and a few others who were leaving houses in the valley but if you don't have money you don't have any options in the valley TLC is an option there are some other options but I guess you can't always believe what you read or hear maybe one day I'll get to talk to one of the higher-ups at TLC and find out if some of the stuff the stuff that I'm hearing about house management it's true or false I've heard some stuff about about some of their houses the higher-ups want to know the names of the houses I've heard stuff about I will let them know I'm not going to put it on here but I hope I'll have a blessed weekend and stay clean and sober

Saving lives and souls

All I got to say is Robson in the house.. I love my Robson staff.. thank you girls for loving me when I couldn’t love myself. I will forever be grateful. ❤️❤️🫶

They took my monthly disability check and kicked me out two weeks into the month with no place to go. All I was doing was trying to find another place to live. The plumbing always has issues staff are rude. All they… care about is money and not you being clean. They also have an Infestation of bed bugs . Robby the house manager looks and acts like he is high most of the time

God kicked out but before i kill myself this place helped me survive.

They asked me to move out which was cool I wasn't tripping about that but then when I didn't have a ride I needed them to sore my items someone went through my belongings and took food which they told me they were… supposed to but then they also took sentimental value as well this place was good at first very good but then it turned bad

Is there house for men

I was at TLC few years ago I ended up becoming staff it is a good program and a very safe place to be three meals a day held accountable for your actions and good meetings this is definitely a place for sobriety I have… now been sober 4 years.

Worst place I'm meas az for sober living...aka as transitional labor camp

I was so happy to meet with Aimee and the men to help with donations of my mother’s things after her passing. Though my mother didn’t reside in this residence- one similar saved her life many years ago. It takes a… village and compassion to do work like this and help give those that want the tools to recover. I’m grateful places like this exist. And the kindness and compassion Aimee and staff showed me made me feel closure and happiness some of my mothers things will become part of someone else’s recovery.

May not be the most glamorous place but there’s nothing glamorous about addiction, I spent a year at the TLC Southern house and I don’t regret one second of it, the place saved my life. Been Sober for nearly six years… now.

I’ve noticed great things from my family member who went here for recovery. TLC is awesome!

For real the only people saying anything good about the place are staff. The fastest way to get booted from the place is to say anything negative about it. The pictures you see when you look the place up are not where… people stay when they get there thoss are staff rooms. The only thing real about the place are the bed bugs

I went to them for help and they ripped me off! This is in reference to the one on 54 West Southern avenue in Mesa. I was there very briefly only 11 days and luckily found another place to go so I left. They said that I… had 10 days to go back and get my stuff. On day 8 I returned to get my stuff only to notice my $300 wireless Bose headphones and two cell phones that I left there with all my clothes were missing. They said that the maintenance man is the one that did all the packing for them... lo and behold over $700 worth of my electronics are missing no reimbursement and no reason or justification as to whom took them or why and of course because they are such a pathetic place no money reimbursement.

Like bed bugs then this is the spot for you!

I am currently living in a TLC 3/4 house anyone who has anything bad to say about TCL really doesn't want sobriety and is lazy. They do not require you to work for them so you can't save money to get your own place and… get back to a sober life on your own. They do however offer jobs as a way of paying rent while you are staying there and working a program. Those are given to the more driven people who want to either give back and help others or people who are not ready for a job and to be back out in the world by themselves . There's nothing wrong with TLC they may have outbreaks of bedbugs here and there but they do provide a safe drug free sober life if you are serious about changing your life . And sense some people have decided to hit me up on Facebook now regarding my review let me make one thing clear lazy doesn't mean about their sobriety it was in regards to not wanting to do the choirs around the place on the 72 hour property restrictions. TLC can work for anyone if they are willing and want it to work. So before you go sending me messages on Facebook or try contacting me any other way check out who I am first and know what you are talking about. And please make sure you know how to spell if you're going to sit there and run your mouth to me cause I am still about that life.

I was over a year sober when I came to TLC in 2014. I was living in Kingman and couldn't find a job. I came to TLC and within a month I had a job. Rebecca, the administrator at the time treated me very well. If you come… with the right attitude and do what you are supposed to Rebecca would bend over backwards for anyone. Rebecca is with the Lord now. Yes... I got bit up by bed bugs. I didn't even know what they were til I moved to Mesa. That didn't discourage me. I am over 5 years sober now and part of the reason is the head start TLC gave me in Mesa. One day at a time is how I live life on life's terms. If you keep the right attitude and don't turn away from your goal to stay clean and sober, you'll make it no matter where you are or what you have to do to get there.

In 2016 TLC helped me get back on my feet. I have since fallen and I was told is be welcome back. I'm sure they'll help me again as they had always kept their word.

If you are a drug addict and need a place to sleep and eat and shower for a few days before going out and using again. This place is perfect for that. If you want REAL recovery stay as far away from here as possible.… Everybody knows this is the crappiest half way house in the valley. The staff sucks the food sucks real bad and there program is a scam for you to work for them and you get nothing for $ to save. Again this is a crappy place for your serious recovery. They go through 70 people a month. I was there and got thrown out thank God.. I went to crossroads professional recovery. Then to the new solutions and have been clean for 5 months. There is so much drug use at this dump. Again of you want serious recovery don't go here. You will be sorry I promise. This place is a complete joke. Again this place is good for a free bed for 3 days to rest before going out and getting high.thats all it's worth like CBI cept u can smoke and get gigh her. Your a recovery JOKE TLC

People that care. I recognized the sober community is becoming much more genuine then it once was. A+
