Their ER sucks and the wait time suck. And then they will bill you for the extra time and then take you to court over $500 bill. You're better off going to Hopkinsville or Murray unless you are going to die then I would… still go to murray or hopkinsville.

0/5 the ER- wouldn’t take my worst enemy there. Not only are providers comfortable breaking HIPAA laws, they also have no idea how to do a digital block. If you need any procedure that requires being numbed before,… PLEASE go ANY where else. Not only did they incorrectly administer the lidocaine, they did not give it time to take effect, thus my small child felt every stitch. The doctor then proceeded to laugh and make fun of my daughter for crying while being stitched together without any numbing. He was scared the other patients might hear and think he was mean (his own words) and rushed through it and didn’t think at all about the patient in front of him. So just so y’all know I think that is a fair review. He was malicious. Mean. The worst bedside manner I’ve ever encountered. I am medical professional else where and was more than appalled at the patient care being provided. I’d be surprised more quality of cares aren’t being filed. My daughter has night terrors from the outdated world war 1 style trauma care.

My 9 year old son slipped from cutting his apple and cut his own hand. The ER Sunday personnel were fantastic!! They administered him right away and the nurses and the doctor had great bedside mannor. We felt well cared… for and they honored our wishes on choice options. We are thankful to have Trigg County Hospital in our area!!!

My aunt has been a patient in a swing-bed (aka therapy) several times. We can’t say enough good about the care, cleanliness, kindness & quality of food. We are from western NY where the hospitals are much bigger, but… the overall experience is horrible. I would take Trigg County Hospital over any Kaleida Health hospital any day of the week….they could learn a few things from this quaint facility.

Sat in ER waiting room for 2 hours just waiting to be triaged. No one checked on anyone. Granted we were only ones in there for the first hour. I have been an ER nurse for 20 years and this is a huge liability for the… hospital. I didnt expect to get seen quickly because thats just an ER typical experience but to sit for 2 hours without being triaged it ridiculous!

After being attacked by a rogue trigg county sheriff's department, I got brought to the ER having just had a new hip dislocated, low back pain and testicular pain. Not only were their staff caught on camera laughing and… making fun of me, sending me into a deeper mental stability issue. I was not treated for any of my injuries. They allowed me to lay in a hospital bed covered in mud handcuffed with my feet hanging off the bed in pain and no assistance helping roll me over, providing fluids, providing any pain remedy, They made me hold my penis in my hand attempting to urinate for hours on end, all while my door was left to open to the public during my entire visit. They then forced and coerced me into signing papers that I have no idea what I was signing. They told me they could not help treat my pain unless I signed these and then as soon as I signed them the kicked me out of the hospital and sent me to jail. I made a formal complaint with Joni Wilson who made a laughable approach at looking into my allegations and will be filing a complaint with the board of commissions.

Went because I was bleeding from the ear and in excruciating pain. They poked around in my ear made it hurt worse did nothing for it and didn’t give me anything for it. after 5 hours of just waiting on the Dr. he just… came in and said yea your ear drum ruptured it’ll heal if it don’t go see your Dr.

If I could please give this place 0 stars. I would. Worst experience of my life, if you're in emergency. I recommend you go to another hospital. My wife got bitten in tge head and the hand by a dog. Taking 45 minutes to… come in and they had an attitude then later. Made her Leave the hospital and go to another hospital. They are horrible people do not come to this hospital.

DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT! We took our 6 year old daughter in for a possible bowel obstruction. We sat there for hours without her even being triaged. She was bawling in pain. There were 3 or 4 people waiting… when we arrived. 1 of them went in while we were there. We found out 2 others were just waiting for someone already inside the er. My husband asked if they had an idea on the time for her to be checked out. They were extremely rude. We waited longer. I asked this time. They were all texting and chatting. 4 of them just standing around. I said I understood emergencies come first, but we were just wanting to get her triaged, not necessarily in a room. The nurse at the window snapped over the one I was speaking too. She said “we are full idk what to tell her!” I was shocked and already upset with worry. I asked to speak to the nursing supervisor. I’ve worked in hospitals for years. They are supposed to triage patients asap. If only 1 person was waiting before us, she should have been triaged. Guess who the nursing supervisor was? The texting snap happy nurse sitting on her butt at the window playing on her phone. She came out and was extremely rude! I told her I understood how stressful her job is and how hard it is to offer a time for a room, because they just aren’t sure. I did however want my child triaged. After nearly 3+ hrs by this point it should have been done. She told us to wait or leave. So we left. She was treated at Jennie Stuart, and did have a bowel obstruction. Thankfully they were able to help her and she is fine now. Avoid this place if you need immediate care or compassion!

I have been to er at trigg hospital 4 times, each time we were handled with incompetence. How can you call yourself a hospital, two of the 4 times my husband was put on a helicopter out of state. Instead of expansion… how about some well paid medical personnel. I will never step in that er again. I've been in this area for 18 years. Do better trigg. Don't embarrass this community any further. All I can say is what goes around comes around.

I been ER since 2:15 it's 4pm. I've received my lab results by message on my still waiting on doctor to come in NO SHOW nurse said wait on tech to read x-ray of neck. You shouldn't have to wait 2 hrs and you're the only… person here!!!! Need better personnel.

My friend's experience at this hospital was terrible. The staff were unhelpful and unprofessional, and the facilities were outdated and unsanitary. It is a shame that such a poorly run institution is responsible for… providing medical care to people.

Just left there with my son, waited 2 hours and 35 minutes in the ER waiting room while he vomited over and over! Never seen a nurse, dr, or custodian to even check on him. I asked three different times how long…. Three… times was told, not much longer.. absolutely uncalled for. They should all be replaced
