Vantage Health System – Englewood

My name is Luz Gamboa, and I'm updating this review to demonstrate that I didn't need the medication Dr. Lathiza Hudson was giving me. Today marks one year since I stopped taking Clonazepam on my own! Dr. Hudson wanted… to force me to take it! Even though I told her to please lower the dose so I could stop taking it altogether because it was harming me. How irresponsible of her not to care, and I had to stop on my own. At the same time, on August 1, 2025, I stopped taking Citalopram! I didn't need it either. With this, I'm setting a precedent against this institution. I ask people to think very carefully before taking that kind of medication. I said it before, and I'll say it again: the doctor wins, and the pharmaceutical industry wins. Respectful and honest

I took my son, who has ADHD, to Santo Domingo for an evaluation, and they didn't even pay attention to it or mention repeating it. However, the high school principal saw it and called in the psychology and social… services council to evaluate the case because they said the document contained sensitive information about the child and action had to be taken. The psychiatrist didn't see anything wrong.

The worst and most unprofessional therapist ever.

I want to express my dissatisfaction with this site, which I frequented for a long time when I was going through a period of depression. And I recognize what depression is like, but what I don't understand is how, if… you don't have depression, they continue to prescribe medication you don't need. If a doctor sees that the person is living their life, why not reduce the dosage? It doesn't really make sense, well, actually it does, because the doctor and the pharmaceutical industry profit. I was treated by Dr. Stain, a very good doctor, and also by Barbara White, also very good. But Dr. Stain left, and the one who ruined me arrived: Dr. Laura Sutton. She put me on Olanzapine, claiming I had schizophrenia, and I took that awful medication for four years until 2022 when Dr. Zenan David, Clara Mass's psychiatrist, ordered me to stop taking it because it was causing irreversible damage. I've now stopped taking another one that was also harming me. As I said before, the doctor and the pharmaceutical industry win, which is why they keep you on pills. Please, if you feel well, don't let them damage your brain. Because in the long run, that medicine damages neurons. Right now, I'm stopping the last one, and it's not true that I would take them again. Pay attention to your health. Your body gives warnings. Avoid these kinds of psychiatrists. They don't care about your health, only about our wallets.

This place was the worst to get mental health care they treated me like trash, when I was there I wasn’t allowed to use the restroom on a different floor,when I was upset they didn’t let me go home, during one of my… appointments one of the employees thought I was a homeless person and thought that I didn’t belong there, I had to wait too long to see the nurse practitioner, I am never coming back here

Very inhumane treatment of people who you know life happens too apparently if you're later then 15 minutes you won't be seen even if you call to let them know something happened they don't answer just put you on hold… horrible

I had a great experience in the beginning but this place is trash. I went to the Englewood location for awhile and it’s not the best place to be. Too much drama and there is a liquor right next door (that’s not a great… place for people who have an alcoholism problem, and no judgement here). Then I went to the Dumont location which wasn’t any better. When I first enrolled, I received a letter in the mail saying I did not comply when lo and behold the people at Vantage never forwarded my information and almost made my situation worse. Don’t go to this place. Team Management is a great place in Hackensack, NJ. Follow through with them, not Vantage UPDATE! 11/2023 STILL THE ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE. The comment underneath from Vantage is probably just an automated message because they cannot be bothered with anything. They sit there and get paid to answer a phone… anyone with common sense can do that, and common sense is clearly not common. My counselor would not accommodate with my meetings weekly because I finally got a job. Well thank you Mr. Sanchez because at team management, they are WAY BETTER PEOPLE and always on top of their stuff. Not once did a get s letter in the mail saying I failed to comply because at age “forgot and was so sorry for not forwarding the information” when I first started with them. Do not waste your time, insurance, etc on this place. TEAM MANAGEMENT IN HACKENSACK IS THE BEST!!!! Most helpful people in the world. And whoever commented before, please reevaluate yourself. The person I am right now is not the person I was attending. Anyway I am way better, counselors are better at Team Management. PLEASE GO THERE! GET HELP IF YOU NEED!

I have been here 25 years with my doctor. I made very good progress here. This is the place I met my husband and got married here

Wonderful service and Ms. Farhana is an excellent clinician.

The help with DSMV dual diagnosis and day therapy is essential. They offer housing too. 8 dimensions of wellness.

They care more about billing your insurance than providing care.

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE TO EVER SEEK HELP. I was involved and medicated with another facility who referred me to these people. FOR months it was impossible to get a proper intake, along with ANY therapy. IT WAS three… months before I COULD get incontact with a doctor for medicine. It is truly despicable that when you are in need of help you can not even get any from a place that is willing to provide it. Especially after this year you would think, mental health would be a priority for facilities. DO NOT BOTHER WORKING WITH THESE PEOPLE.

The doctor is really nice but the front desk gives you attitude! I'm just trying to make an appointment and you're getting mad at me for asking what days are available that's ridiculous. You work at a facility that… helps with mental health and your acting like a rude miserable person.
