Wellspan Philhaven – York (1407 Williams Road)

I just got discharged from this place today, my counselor was Mr. Dan. I did not like him because he would always poke fun of me, and others and always try to make me play games with other peers there. Obviously that’s… not a bad thing at all, but you are not there to make friends, you are there to work on yourself. When I was there I was in a huge group of about 21 kids, the usual amount is about 8. This was not good at all speaking from all of the fights that would happen, this kid was making fun of another peer for his scars, and the teachers just told us to, “Not make fun of what’s on others body’s.” This made the peer very upset and attacked the other peer, some kids are there for trauma reasons and they can’t handle fighting. Later right before my discharge we split the room in half which was better, but kids are still going to be mean. I got laughed at and kids were talking about me, I don’t want to just put all negativity in this review because there was some very nice staff there to help, such as, Mrs. Bri, Mrs. Mchalya, and Mrs. Chelsey (I’m sorry if I spelled anyone’s name wrong or put the wrong Mrs). The food was pretty good, they are made from the hospital. But overall would not recommend this place, especially if your not going to take your treatment seriously, some of the people in my group really didn’t participate and that’s not going to help.

They did not help my girlfriend they made it worse she went there for the thing to get away from it just for it to continue there and she does not feel safe and multiple fights have happened while she was there and the… teacher Mr.Daniel told her to just suck it up and move on and suck it up your to young and she comes home every day sad and crying because of this man it is a terrible place

Couldn't have asked for a better team to help my daughter during a hard time. My daughter made significantly positive changes while attending the outpatient hospital program. I can't thank Phil Haven enough for how much… they helped.
