WellSpan Health – York Detox and Rehab Services
The provision listed at WellSpan Health – York is intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

The best
This place is a joke, i always wait more that 30 minutes for my appointment and if u are late just for 5 minutes they cancel your appointment. This place need new workers or idk but they need to do something about it.
When you call they never answer the phone. If you have a question you will have to figured it out your self.
Facts you filled out something without me Paul V
This place never has appointments available they are not on time like someone else mentioned. You say mornings work better for you and they still give you afternoon evening times. York PA is a joke
This place is never on time! I’ve waited 30 mins past my appointment time for a simple routine vaccine almost every time. It’s ridiculous!! On regular follow ups I’ve waited anywhere up to 45 mins and have also been… told that simply forgot about me and they’re sorry. It’s frustrating when I’ve been coming here for 18 years and it’s getting worse and worse. They prioritize new patients and it’s extremely difficult to get an appointment when needed because of this appointment times are pushed months and months out If you’re a new patient, you can get in typically within the week. The doctors are great. Some of the staff is to as far as nurses a couple nurses tend to have some attitude and the reception up front are typically no help. They literally will stare at you and try to avoid you coming to their window, which is so rude and unprofessional. I personally do not recommend this location. Today for example I had an appointment at 11 AM for my routine vaccine. I’m writing this review at 11:40 because they need to find a provider to put in the vaccine in the computer or something when I had another appointment at 11:40 which I have now missed. So a simple 1015 minute appointment has now turned into almost an hour. This is not OK.
I have been taking my children here for over 20 years and have always had a great experience. We love the staff.
She but my shote very hard and I had to miss school because my arm was hurting a lot
Tried to make an emergency appointment. Was told it be 2 months out... like lady I'll be dead in 2 months.... just don't waste your time....
I personally love coming here over some other WellSpan’s I’ve been to. The doctors I have are great and care a lot about my health and getting me the help I need. Whenever I call, they pick up as soon as possible and… are very kind.
Love the calmness and professionalism. They are also fast
A Lisa Weaver is awesome!!!
Wellspan community Healthcare sucks...the people there get paid to basically not do their job I call my medication in early still for them to mess it up and not tell you. Thank goodness I know they suck and call in… myself and all they do is say sorry while I'm the one stuck with no medication.
I have been coming here since 2007 and lately as in the past couple of years prior to covid it just seems to be getting worse. Granted my Dr is GREAT! but upon arriving the staff isn't welcoming, nor nice, they don't… even smile at you. They practically have you yell out your information right in the waiting area which is no privacy at all. They don't fully listen and have been caught chit-chatting while you are right at their window. Secondly, as a long-time patient it is getting harder and harder to reach anyone, especially to get scheduled. They take new patients all the time and have openings available but for us long time we get pushed out MONTHS out. If there are new patient appointments you would think they'd see you a little sooner especially when you come to them with serious health concerns Instead you told by the receptionist to go to Urgent Care because there are no openings, even after coming from the ER. Communication is horrible. There have been times when my doctor has told me to schedule for this date, and upfront they tell me they don't have it available and when I email my doctor she doesn't understand why I wasn't put in that slot because it was and now someone else has it. The staff here up front are very sassy and cold-hearted which is sad considering they are giving these doctors and nurses a bad rep. Wellspan needs to do better as far as scheduling and keeping their long-time clients. Me, myself, 3 children soon to be 4 and husband came to this location and because of not being able to get in within even 2 weeks is ridiculous and has us considering moving to UPMC as an alternative. Due to this, i do not recommend this location just because of the way the staff treats one and the lack of appointments if you are someone like myself with health issues and can't get in even after leaving the ER what is the point of continuing care here?
I wouldn't go here. The staff, doesn't return calls, blames all the issues on a call center for wellspan. Tells you to send messages thru the portal that go to your provider but then go thru at least five other people… before going to your provider. Even when the portal says the message is from your provider it's from someone else. The clinical pharmacist they have on staff is extremely unprofessional and pretends to be on your team but only when it's convient for her. When I decided to take my care elsewhere they decided to hold my medication that's stored there, so I'm forced to go without it.
This place is not the same anymore. Requested bloodwork 4x and Never got a call. Also waited for my appointment and it was canceled the day of. Guess I’ll look for help elsewhere!
LOVE LOVE LOVE DR.CONTRACTOR.. my kids love her, she’s honest, caring and sweet. Best person to take your children to.
I'm only doing this review because the caregivers there I believe, realize that I am not perfect, & I in turn realized that they are not perfect either" My personal thanks to wellspan community health
Good dentists 95% of the time
When you need help they leave you hanging...unprofessional 👎👎
Dr weaver is excellent takes great care of her patients
Without a doubt the most discourteous and medically-incompetant staff and facility I have ever encountered. They routinely allow patients in who refuse to take covid tests, thus not knowing their status, and they… refused me entry as I have been weekly taking them out of respect to my family having immunocompromised and senior members. We are encouraged by our jobs and our government to monitor ourselves and be honest about our sypmtoms. As a former US Navy veteran in the medical service, I was appalled at the facade of medicine they practice here. In fact, they were allowing me to progress with a dry cough until I informed them I had a NEGATIVE covid test and had been routinely taking them. They asked me if it was just a cold or allergies, as if I can just self diagnose magically. Additionally they had me stand in an area with heavy foot traffic, while several adult exiting patients did NOT have masks. Staff stood within two feet of me while a lazy series of questions was asked of them. For some reason my honesty was singled out and, frankly, it seemed like they enjoyed making an example of me, the one patient they could actually trust in. Their front desk assistant and supervisor were both involved with this farce. Wellspan has no business treating veterans, and I have no doubt the numerous glances at my painted nails played a part in this transphobic office. I warn the LGBTQIA community to stay away from this provider.
