Rehabs That Take SIHO

SIHO is a health plan name listed by treatment centers in Indiana, and the listings do not spell out the full organization behind it. Where a SIHO plan applies, coverage for drug and alcohol treatment can vary by plan, network and level of care.Indiana centers on this page name SIHO on their own websites. Your member card should show the phone number for the organization that handles your benefits. Why Trust RehabSeekers.com?

RehabSeekers is an independent behavioral health directory covering drug and alcohol addiction and mental health treatment providers.

Every listing has a source: an official register, a licensing record, or details the facility sent us.

Credentials shown honestly. Accreditation, licensing and registration listed separately.

Reviews shown exactly as written. Never edited, never removed because a facility asked.

No commission, no referral fees. Nothing a facility pays for changes where it appears.

Contact details always go direct. Calls reach the facility itself, never a call centre.

Common questions

Answered from what is listed here.

What is SIHO?

SIHO Insurance Services is an Indiana health plan administrator based in Columbus, founded in 1987 by local physicians, hospitals and employers. It sells fully insured and level-funded employer plans, administers self-funded employer plans as a third-party administrator, and runs MyTruAdvantage Medicare Advantage plans.

It is primarily hospital-owned, and member services can be reached at (800) 443-2980, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern.

Private Insurance Acceptedhttps://rehabseekers.com/insurance-accepted/private-insurance-accepted/
Does SIHO cover rehab?

Yes, SIHO plans treat addiction treatment as a benefit: inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient care for mental health and substance use are named on SIHO's authorization lists. What you pay depends on your employer's plan, since SIHO both insures plans and administers self-funded ones.

Fully insured benefits are set by SIHO; self-funded benefits come from the employer's plan document, so check your Schedule of Benefits or call (800) 443-2980.

Inpatient Rehabhttps://rehabseekers.com/programs/inpatient/
Does SIHO cover detox?

Yes, medically supervised detox is a recognized benefit. SIHO's provider manual lists inpatient/detox alongside residential, IOP and PHP as mental health and substance use services that require prior authorization, meaning the admission is reviewed for medical necessity before or at the start of care.

Emergency admissions still count: SIHO asks to be notified within 48 hours of a hospital admission, or as soon as the member's condition allows.

SIHO Insurance Services is an Indiana health plan administrator, owned by hospitals and based in Columbus, that sells employer coverage and runs the MyTruAdvantage Medicare Advantage plans. For anyone arranging treatment, the SIHO name on a card is the starting point rather than the answer, because the funding model behind it decides which rules and which benefit schedule apply.

SIHO calls its three employer models Classic (fully insured), Transitional (level funded) and Select (self-funded with SIHO as third-party administrator). On a fully insured plan, SIHO sets the rules and publishes the authorization list. On a self-funded plan the employer’s plan document sets the benefits and SIHO processes the claims against it. MyTruAdvantage is a separate line with its own copays, networks and Medicare timelines. There is no SIHO Medicaid plan; in Indiana that coverage runs through Indiana Medicaid and its managed care plans instead.

This guide covers which levels of addiction treatment SIHO recognizes, where prior authorization applies and who reviews it, what a stay costs under the 2026 MyTruAdvantage plans and what employer plans publish, how addiction medication is handled through the pharmacy benefit, and how to work out whether an Indiana program sits in the network printed on the card.
