Quail Run was truly an experience like no other, and I honestly mean that from my heart. 💜 When I first got there, I didn’t know what to expect, but somehow I left with more than just discharge papers. I left with… lessons, tools, laughs, and a whole lot of healing that had already begun. I learned SO much while I was there, and I’m genuinely grateful for the people who made that experience what it was. Jo, my “Big Sis.” 🥹💜 Thank you for helping me in the best ways possible, even when that meant getting on my nerves 😂. You stayed on me about taking care of my mental health, finding healthier ways to cope, and actually putting the work in. The fact that you were so open and honest about your own story made it so much easier for me to be open about mine. You didn’t just talk to me — you really connected with me. Forever grateful for my Big Sis. 🫶🏽 And CiCi & Mariela, THANK YOU. 💜 You both made me feel genuinely loved, cared for, and seen while I was there. Sometimes it’s the little things like checking on me, talking to me, laughing with me, or simply making me feel like I mattered, that stick with you the most. Y’all definitely made my time there easier. And last but CERTAINLY not least… Steve. 🥹 You made sure I was good while I was there, but what means even more to me is that you didn’t just disappear once I walked out the doors. You’re STILL working with me and checking in, and I appreciate that more than you probably know. That kind of support means everything when you’re trying to take everything you learned and actually apply it to real life. Quail Run gave me something I didn’t expect: I came home with my healing already started. I learned about myself, learned different ways to cope, learned things I can actually take with me beyond those walls, and met people who genuinely made me feel cared about. To everyone at Quail Run who played a part in my time there: THANK YOU. 💜 Thank you for seeing ME, not just the person who walked through those doors needing help. I’ll always remember my time there, the lessons, the conversations, the laughs, the tears, the jokes 😂, and most importantly, the healing. Quail Run, y’all really got a special place in my heart. 🫶🏽

Quail Run helped me recover mentally and physically from a suicide attempt from a sleeping pill overdose. Elliot is the best tech there! The way he was always so positive and helpful and caring to us patients, it truly… inspired me to want to start a career in the recovery field! Also Blair was the best nurse! She helped calm me down multiple times when I was still trying to understand and figure things out there. I wish she was my primary care physician!

Quail Run?? Where to start, this place saved my life. From the moment I was wheeled in the doors i could feel the change begin. All the staff that took care of me while i spent 6 days in inpatient care my needs were… addressed and taken care of. I was afraid of the change I was making but once I opened up to the plan for me it seemed all the pain and the reasons for my despair were uncovered. After 6 days of good food great Techs ( Jo ) and some great work groups I was discharged. I immediately began the Outpatient Class and man that’s when my life really changed.. I was blessed to have Maddy as my Advisor.. And just so you know the only person I know who is always right.. Facts, truth not open for debate.. What I learned in Maddy’s classes was so eye opening and real you just got to open your mind to what we were being taught was what we all run or hide or deny ourselves from grasping.. All the tools were perfect and still work till this day.. I will never ever forget what Quail Run did for myself but if your not honest with yourself there will be some struggle.. I am still Sober to this day 9 months later and will never forget Maddy for being there for me..

You should maybe make sure someone with a history of ED eats at least once a day? 7am check in, didn't eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Is it not your jobs to monitor your patients?

Speaking only as a patient’s family member, I am generously giving 1 star! They do not call when they say, they cut short afternoon visitation to serve dinner they do not honor appointment times. Patient cell phones are… not always given as stated? They don’t return email questions! So why do they make appts? Why have posted visitation and cell phone times?? Please, improve communication to all involved! This place caused me great anxiety just with their lack of communication!!

When I was here, the staff was caring, encouraging and straight forward with me. Though it was a frightening experience when I first showed up, once I was assigned to a unit, I immediately started to feel at ease. The… doctors, nursing staff, technicians, and other support staff were very encouraging. They are not pushovers, but if you are serious about healing your psychological wounds it would be hard to find a better team to support you in your endeavor. I continue with Quail Run on IOP. Hopefully I remember to update this as I continue with my progress to help others with a complete evaluation of the facility.

Inpatient: 3/5 ⭐️ Outpatient: 5/5 ⭐️ I have spent time at Quail Run in both inpatient and outpatient care, so I have experienced both sides of the program. My two inpatient stays were mixed. The facility itself was… clean, colorful, and much less depressing than many other psychiatric hospitals in the Valley. During my February 2026 admission, there seemed to be more groups and the overall atmosphere felt more organized than it had in July 2025. The nurses and behavioral health technicians were consistently kind and compassionate. My biggest concern was with one of the psychiatrists, Dr. Fermo. I often felt rushed during our daily meetings, as though he was trying to move on to the next patient rather than having a good conversation about my treatment. We disagreed about medication, and I felt my concerns were not taken seriously. At one point, he recommended a medication that I had already tried in the past and had explained was both ineffective and poorly tolerated many times. When I declined it based on that history, I was documented as “non-compliant,” even though I continued taking the medication I had already been prescribed. I also felt that my court-ordered treatment (COT) status was used to dismiss my concerns, with the explanation that I “didn’t have a choice.” Rather than feeling like it was being used to support my care, it felt like it was being used as a threat to pressure me into accepting a treatment plan I had legitimate concerns about. My hesitation wasn’t about refusing treatment, but rather about avoiding a medication that had already proven unsuccessful for me. I would have appreciated having my treatment history and concerns given more consideration, especially since our interactions consisted of only a few brief meetings over the course of four days. Feeling heard and involved in treatment decisions makes a significant difference, even in an inpatient setting. The reason I’m writing this review, however, is because of the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The outpatient program completely changed my perspective on mental health treatment. I had failed to complete multiple programs over the past nine years and honestly expected this one to end the same way. Instead, I graduated. Maddy was an exceptional therapist. She created a welcoming environment where everyone felt valued, genuinely got to know her patients, and somehow made group therapy both meaningful and engaging. During one of the hardest moments I’ve had, when I realized I wasn’t safe to drive after group, she simply met me where I was, brought me a cup of water, listened without judgment, and helped me through the crisis. That experience completely changed how I viewed asking mental health professionals for help. I also want to recognize Kelsey, who was wonderful after I transferred to the morning program temporarily, and Dr. Vines, who was always approachable and available to patients. Graduating from this IOP is something I’m incredibly proud of. It’s the first outpatient program I’ve completed in nine years, and my certificate is still hanging on my wall. While my inpatient experiences were mixed, Quail Run’s outpatient team is, without question, the best mental health treatment team I’ve worked with. If you’re considering their IOP or PHP, I highly recommend it.

My daughter has been hospitalized at Quail Run several times, and each time I hoped she would finally get the help she desperately needs. Instead, I’ve been met with resistance, dismissiveness, and decisions that make… no sense given her condition. She has made frightening threats including wanting to stab people and kill her sisters, yet the psychiatrist refused to raise her mood stabilizer and later refused residential treatment. As her mother, I felt completely dismissed when I tried to explain how unsafe things were at home. No parent should have to beg professionals to take their child’s mental health seriously. I left feeling defeated, unheard, and terrified for my daughter’s future. Quail Run needs to do better for the families who come to them in crisis.

Even after hours he won't hesitate to answer any questions or concerns we may have!! I would recommend Quail Run to anyone seeking psychiatric help or detox needs. The facility is very clean and sanitary . The food was amazing as well. They have so many resources to help get you through your needs and worst times. As for the nurses, Erick on the morning shift ,JO on the morning shift and a few others are top notch and will do everything possible to make your stay the best and comfortable as poasible!! The night shift as well especially my nurse Jen. They are all fantastic ! I went in for a walk in for Alcohol detox and they made sure all my vitals and meds were up to par! Participation in the daily activities is a huge part of success and completing the program:) im so thankful for the entire staff! Mr. Shean the psychiatrist is phenomenal as well . This is a great facility. I am doing the IOP Intensive Outpatient Program, specifically the women's group, and have had an amazing experience so far. Our therapist is really empathetic and supportive, and she is great at helping us open up. We all love her! The IOP has really helped me... My only wish is that I found it sooner!

I just finished the IOP Women's Group and feel like a new person. The instructor, Grace was lively and knowledgeable about what she was teaching us. The classroom was engaging and helpful. I am so happy with all that I learned and look forward to happier days using the tools I was given. I'd also like to bring up that we had a substitute named Chi. She had her own style of teaching but was also very effective. Thank you! Shelly Talmo
