Always a long wait, Rhonda who answers the phone is not nice or helpful, its really sad they dont realize what all the patients already have to go through there is no compassion or wanting to help, please dont work… somewhere people need understanding patience and compassion. You make us feel like we are bothering you when you have a job for us. Return calls be nice act like you care or dont be here.

I gave a call and spoke with “Paula”, no professionalism on the phone no hello and sounded very angry and monotone. None of the employees are knowledgeable No one gives any follow ups. I’m on my 4th grievance with this… “clinic” Don’t even bother wasting your time they will make you feel more crazy.

I've been coming to Copa Health Arrowhead for over about you could say 10 years plus in a lot of things can be said about Copa health from what I see from other reviews. It can be a challenge there at times and they… haven't always had the best staff, but the staff that they have now going forward is amazing two in particular I'd like to really point out are Natalie Perez and Coy these two case managers happen to be absolutely amazing they go above and beyond the call for their members they do the absolute most. I'd also like to highlight Dr Adina Burros she happens to be my doctor and is absolutely amazing and one of the most patient women I've ever known giving me a lot of Grace during times where I haven't always been the proper client. Overall they've help me get my life more manageable, and have stood with me through each one of my challenges that I have faced I'm getting back to a recovered mental state and all around life state!

Everytime I come here it is a mess, the front desk is often rude, their voicemails do not provide any information just "this is the clinic call us back for more information ". The providers keep scheduling appointments… that aren't needed due to receiving care from another care network..The lobby reeks everytime and there is always at least one person blasting something on their phone or having conversations loud enough that I cannot hear the provider.. If you have a choice find a better clinic!

I don’t feel like Copa Health has been good for me. I have never gone into this facility feeling like anyone here listened to or validated my feelings. I have been socially embarrassed by a woman at the front desk.… There was no repercussions or anything to correct her behavior nor were my feelings even remotely concerned about. I saw her treat other clients rudely and condescending. I did notice that she no longer works there but they just replaced her with someone else who isn’t any different. I had to fire a psychiatrist for lying to my face because she has this idea that because she went to school and became a doctor, somehow she knew me better than I know myself. She never listened to me and pushed medication that I didn’t want to take. And now come to find out I just discovered a new diagnosis that I was unaware of I had and I have been being “treated” by this company since 2018. I have now driven down to Copa health for two appointments (40 minutes each way) and been told that I had the wrong date and time and automatically blamed for it because I have smi status. I don’t see how gaslighting the clients who are traumatized helps them. It doesn’t help me. To sum it up, you failed me I don’t recommend that anyone use this place for help. I haven’t been treated like a human being, just a diagnosis. I am not my diagnosis. My advice to any person who is trapped in the system designed to keep you in it with false promises of having autonomy over your own brain, is to ask questions. ASK QUESTIONS. They don’t offer information that would be beneficial to educate the people they are “treating.” Ask for your records and read them for accuracy. You have the right to know what is happening to you.

I have been so patient with this facility since March 2025. I have been waiting on an update on my referral for therapy. I have been calling asking for updates and told "there's nothing we can do after we put you on a… waiting list." It's not the front desk fault they are lovely everytime. I believe it's a staffing issue as my "case manager" has been switched twice. I had two different crisis while waiting to get an update on therapy. I am an SMI patient and am limited on where I can recieve therapy. I do believe the staff that are there are trying their best. I also believe that my "referral" may have not been done properly since they keep resubmitting the order in hopes that I will get a call soon. The staff seem tired and overworked. I almost went in patient during my crisis and therapy could have really helped me avoid getting to that point. If they are low staffed, then they need to make a new plan and referr patients to other facilities instead of constantly accepting new patients for therapy. The time peroid from March to October is unacceptable. There is someone higher up to blame for this system that seems to be built on greed. One thing I know for sure it's not the staffs fault that you see everyday. Please be kind to those working here as you can tell they are tired and overworked. But do yourself a service and go seek care elsewhere

I’ve been coming here for years and have seen many changes—some positive, some not so much. Recently, the clinic “cleaned house” and replaced all of the case managers on my team. Unfortunately, the new teams don’t seem… as personable or confident in what they’re doing. In my experience, Alexa has been especially disappointing. I understand that this can be a stressful job, but if you choose to work in mental health, basic kindness and professionalism should be a priority. Ignoring a simple “hello” and making clients feel like a burden is not acceptable. That said, I’m very grateful for the few staff who continue to make a real difference. Marcella, Paige, and Stacey consistently show care, professionalism, and genuine compassion. Paula, please make an effort to look at clients when they’re speaking and be more courteous over the phone. I’ve noticed this behavior for some time now, and it’s not okay. Overall, the new management needs to step up and bring back the level of respect, empathy, and professionalism that this clinic used to have.

This place is incredibly unprofessional. Twice I've shown up with my teen for his appointment and both times the person was 'out for the day'. I even had text reminders the morning of. Completely unorganized.

Here we are, older and wiser. I wanted tofind this review to improve the score, as my team and the workers at my clinic will always be around to take my calls when I need to reflect. Yes, sometimes the phone doesn't… pick up! Just make sure to stay in contact with COPA, most importantly your case manager and support team. Now, I haven't been on the streets and I'm working!

Unfortunately I had to give a star even though it's not deserved, the only staff actually working and being helpful is receptionists. This place gets worse and worse with every new leadership. I am a guardian to a… recipient and I get frustrated with no call backs phone hang ups and lack of communication. They have recipients on their roster that they don't even see. They seriously need to be looked at by Ahcccs. I'm one angry guardian

I had my services switched from NOAH to Copa back in December because I was determined smi and needed more care. Since I've switched they have been unresponsive and uncaring. My appointment seems like they're just… trying to get it over with. It's been almost four months and they still haven't given me a counsler even though I've requested several times. Now they forgot to call in my vyvanze prescription and I've been trying to get a hold of them for 6 days and left 5 voicemail with no response. Now I'm going through withdrawals form my medication just because my doctor forgot about me and they won't answer the phone.
