Passages Malibu is an amazing treatment center, all around. From the owner down, the entire staff is exceptional. It is an extremely welcoming environment, in an absolutely stunning location which adds to the all around… experience of peace and tranquillity. The holistic approach is amazing, and sets it apart from other centers across the globe. The clinical team is amazing, and all work together to help tailor to the clients individual needs. The quality of the clinicians it world class, and I cannot over state that. Along with that, the chefs provide amazing meals daily. Health and wellness is such a priority in all aspects of the program. There is a trainer on staff with amazing gym, as well as tennis courts and pool. If you, or loved ones, are going through a tough time in life, I could not recommend a better place to heal. If you want to thrive in life, look no further, you will not be disappointed.

I felt like Pax and the staff working at Passages truly care about me and all the clients. They make it a number one priority to work as a team. They had treatment discussion meetings and went above and beyond, to help… me resolve my issues. Everyone worked hard, and I felt cared for. They put their heart into their work. I entered Passages in November 2007. I was addicted to cocaine, was out of control, lost and had no answers as to how I could get sober, regain control of my life, get my family back and resume a normal and productive… life. At Passages, I surrendered to the staff and professionals there. I took everything they told me literally, followed instructions and did what I was told. I bought into the philosophy that an addiction is like a cold, that you can get rid of it and is not something you must address daily, indefinitely. In other words, it is not the NA or AA philosophy and I am not a “recovering addict” forever. Upon leaving Passages, my focus was in advancing my life, career and relationships and not reminding myself everyday that I was once an addict. I had many unique and significant experiences during my 30 days at Passages, which have positively affected my life to this day. I have learned life lessons from Passages, Chris Prentiss and Pax Prentiss. This past May of 2026, I celebrated 18.5 years of sobriety, health and happiness, all to a degree I never would have had I not attended Passages. I am thankful to Pax and Passages and I highly recommend that anyone with an addiction that they can not cure, who is to the point in their life that they are seeking rehabilitation for their addiction, go directly Passages. It was the life changing answer for me and will be for anyone who is truly at the point in their life that they want to rid themselves of their addiction and get back to a normal life and resolve negative issues with family and friends.

As I hit my 500 sober days milestone today, I also celebrate the Passages Malibu team that got me here. The care, love and support that I felt there was unmatched in every area and I am overflowing with gratitude for… all the help I received and will always feel that way. When I entered Passages I was well below rock bottom, alcohol had destroyed every aspect of my life and I could see no value in a future for myself. The Drs, Therapists and Counselors got to work immediately and the process began. I learned so much about addiction as well as myself and cried more than I knew I could. I worked hard, I wanted this badly and I had all the help I asked for and more. It is a wonderful program in a gorgeous, peaceful setting. I really can’t say enough positive things about it. I left Passages Malibu after a 90 day stay April 18, 2025 and I believe they saved and changed my life for good. Thank You

I went to this program when I was 18 years old im 28 now I call and ask for help since I relapsed on promethazine and codeine and oxys. Pax tells me do u have 35,000$ at the end of the day all these people care about is… money not your recovery. It’s sad rehabs are just in this for the money and to become millionaires off drug addicts. It’s a shame some rehabs just want to maintain their father millionaire status.

Im not bashing passages mailbu at all, how I encourage anyone looking for help to try melrose recovery. The staff and amazing. The therapy is amazing. The medically detox you the proper way. You can tell they truly help… their clients to live a clean and sober life.

Passages, from the staff- from RS, to Dee (angel), to all the experienced licensed professionals.. people who truly cared enough to help me save my own life, is the most amazing place on earth. I came in using high… amount of fentanyl everyday for YEARS.. I tried other treatment centers and choosing Passages was the best decision I ever made for my life because it saved me… nothing compares to the level of care and pure understanding, I received here. The empathy, the compassion, the love. It truly is life changing and something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. A lot of people on fentanyl don’t make it. It’s the sad reality. I say this often. That’s why it’s so important to pick the right place to fight your fight full of EXPERIENCED CARE. That is Passages.. because of Passages, I got the individualized help and I made it, and I have a chance at a beautiful life I couldn’t even see before… the level of comfort I received here going through agonizing hell, down to figuring out the root causes of what was driving my usage, I haven’t gotten to know my real self in a long time. I never did therapy before this, so I can honestly say it is doable to heal no matter where you are at in your journey. There is hope. Now, I wake up everyday smiling and full of life. Grateful for each passing day. My eyes are full of life again. The agony is over and I am no longer a victim to my circumstances. I had small detour and now I am on to a beautiful life. Passages will love you. Not judge you. They will help you save your own life and I can honestly say not many places like that exist anymore.

Passages saved my husband’s life back in 2018. I am forever grateful for the extra years I got with him. Staff really cares and the positive energy had its influence. Unfortunately he passed due to medical issues in… 2021. I just had to say thank you. Worth every penny and more….. there’s no price on life.

It was the greatest vacation I’ve ever had in my whole life.

Contacted them over 10 times in three days trying to verify my insurance but they couldn't figure it out. If any place makes me want to drink it's Passages.

Best Decision of my Life. I researched about 30 other facilities and none of them offered the same approach as Passages. I was on the edge of loosing everything. Coming here saved my life. I've been here 25 days and… while I'm ready to depart knowing I'll never go back ever again. The holistic and spiritual approach and the highly collaborated work the provide is amazing. This is what drew me to come here. The grounds are amazing, you'll not find anything close. But this is just a bonus. I based my decision on how they do things. All of the Therapist are amazing, and all of the staff from the front office, Admins to the gardeners and maids are all so friendly and inviting. The therapists all work with you in their own methods and drill you down to when you were a child then upward, drawing out all of your past experiences whether good or bad. They bring it all out and Im departing with a clear mind. Living the now and able plan for my future retirement along with my wife. No more tears about the abusive childhood, the sorrow coming from loosing friends and some family members, and the hurt I feel from ending up being such and angry person to my wife. I'm back to my happy fun loving, intelligent and creative me. And I have confidence know that I'll never go back again. As they say here when the patient comes out, the doctors will come and the healing begins. I appreciate everything Passages Malibu has given me. Now I have the tools to know I'm leaving a happy person for the rest of my life. If I ever see a friend or associates falling down the rabbit whole I will be showing them this is the right place for them. I feel so blessed. My gracious thanks to the entire team.

They helped me a lot because I cursed the Holy Spirit and I thought I was going to hell cuz of the things I thought 💭 but the taught me about metaphysics and to think outside the box 📦 and I didn’t comit suicied I 🍺… beer but I don’t do the hard stuff n e more I still might go to hell but to day I’m still breathing

After researching numerous rehabs, I would put this facility in top tier placing as well experienced having to be in this field well over a decade.
