California Detox – Laguna Beach

CA Detox really cares. The staff was so wonderful to myself and all the clients. The Laguna Beach facility was such a beautiful location for treatment. 5 out 5 stars for sure!!

This was a phenomenal rehab that really cares about patients, and takes the time to make sure that their needs on the outside are met while in treatment. The six person house makes the treatment so much more personal.… Also, the views from the house makes recovery so much easier.

Had a family member going through a Rough patch… we tried everything. CA detox was the gold standard in term of treatment. I can’t stress enough how much I recommend this place. Thanks for everything!

Staff is very helpful and its a beautiful location. The weekend outings were fun and memorable. They even took me to get a pedicure! The ocean view makes the stay worthwhile and all the skills that are taught throughout… the week I am able to use for my whole life time. Every day we learned something new about ourselves and how to live a healthy lifestyle in sobriety. I am forever grateful for this facility, Laguna beach has my heart!

Impeccable treatment in all regards. Staff support was top notch and genuinely cared about my recovery. Immenities were five star, but more importantly, this place helped save my life.

If you’re feeling like your life has became unmanageable, I would recommend going to California detox it is definitely the Best place that you could possibly be at in your early recovery. The staff there is very great.… They don’t treat you like a client, but they treat you like a friend the case manager and therapist are one of the best that I’ve ever met personally and you will definitely get the starting tools to stay sober in recovery.

I want to start out by saying thank you. I had a wonderful experience and feel that I benefited so much. I had a great experience and really feel like I got what I needed to help me on my journey. Location was… beautiful, the house was clean and comfortable, staff really cared and made me feel valued. I was in a safe environment that helped me feel supported. I absolutely recommend this place for anyone struggling. I am grateful for the opportunity that I had.

This facility is amazing, and so is the staff. They are helpful to all your needs no matter how big or small. The facilitators are great and you will learn a lot about yourself and how to recover. It has a personal… touch because only 6 residents max are allowed at one time. That creates more one on one time for specialized care. The house has a view of the Pacific Ocean that will take your breath, especially at sunset. The beach is right across the street and is only a 15-minute walk. You will go there often. After 3:00 pm you are free to do what you like, and there's plenty of opportunities to relax to allow your mind, body, and spirit the recovery it deserves. This place is EXACTLY where I needed to be to begin my recovery process, and I am so grateful for this opportunity.

I spent 30 days at California Detox treating trauma and mental health, and the services I received were phenomenal. My case manager and therapist were available all day throughout the week, and the behavioral health… technicians who managed the day-to-operations of the program both during the week and over the weekend were personable, compassionate, and professional. Mental health treatment at California Detox if highly personalized, and all clinicians and staff were responsive to my requests, preferences, and needs. Weekend outings into the surrounding community allowed us to retain our sense of being in the world and provided a smooth on-ramp to reintegrate after discharge. Medication management was top-notch, and any other medical appointments I desired were set up quickly. Highly recommended!

Beautiful view they take you to outings once a week you get to use your phone, they take you to meetings, groups are held in the house the staff are really nice ,food is catered and they also get you groceries I had a… great time very chill environment. One of the outing was whale watching but you can choose what you want to do.

Beautiful detox center right by the water with an amazing view and very peaceful environment. The atmosphere feels safe, calming, and supportive. Rachel the case manager and the entire staff are extremely kind, caring,… and helpful. You can tell they genuinely care about the people there. Definitely a great place for anyone looking for support and recovery.

This place is definitely the place to be if you’re trying to get sober. The best choice I could have possibly made for my recovery I was scared I was coming down withdrawing really bad I was going through a lot couldn’t… really think or function. But when I called the admissions guy that I had held my Hand threw it all broke it down for me listened to me told me his story about coming here and how it helped him sounded to good to be true but that was not the case it was all true. He would check on me make sure I was good answered questions I had or had already asked 10 times already let me call him and make sure about things I had questions on and reassured me that I’d be ok. And when I got here I was pretty far from home no family or anything and I was so stressed out and sad lots of emotions they were very welcoming. Which made it a lot easier for sure they talked to me helped me adjust. The staff my goodness is freaking amazing i could not have asked for better staff I love them they really care and make you feel good about where your at kept it real with me cause I only wanted honesty good or bad. My case my manager was amazing I loved her she was really helpful supper smart and amazing could talk to her about whatever and she would listen give me honest feedback and kept it real. I asked her prolly the same question about insurance and if I was good or whatever a dozen times and she didn’t get irritated or annoyed just answered them for me and said your good dude no worries helped. So if your trying to get some help and be sober, live a better life this is definitely the place to be you will not regret it at all I promise.

My experience at California Detox was exceptional from the moment I walked in the door. The staff truly set this house apart to make my time comfortable, productive and safe. Their compassion, professionalism and… friendship made a meaningful difference in my recovery. The house itself was equally impressive: just steps from the beach and with panoramic ocean views in all of the rooms. It was impeccably clean, offering a peaceful setting that allowed me to focus fully on healing. Amazing program!

The Detox program truly helped my son in a major way.Before the program my son experience three major losses ,loss his Grandmother in March 2024 and then a loss of his Grandfather May 2024 loss his Best friend.It was… too much 😢 💔 for him to bare alone he was saying he did not want to be hear.From there I reached to get help for my Son and this program is truly a blessing they heard my cry for help For my son they acted very quickly to get the help my son needed thank you thankyou and now my son is on the road of recovery thank Rachel your wonderful staff for helping my son I know with the help and the mentorship treatments he will be a better person and understand he is not alone there is help to guide you threw difficult times in your life.

When I first got here I was greeted super well from the drive here to the flight to the sign in complete 👍🏾 Rachel was amazing to say the least with Roland Jackson Nicole even the groups were good house is tidy and… beautiful everyone was welcoming

My stay here at California Detox was a blessing. I came in unsure about my sobriety and left with a positive outlook on life. Therapist Maggie and case manager Rachel are so helpful and always made sure they were there… when they were needed. Staff definitely took care of us during their shift and weekly outings were always fun.

Cali detox was a life-changing experience. I wasn't expecting to get what I got out of it, that's for sure. I thought I was just going on vacation for a day, for day credit, and it was life-changing. I'm so grateful for… Rachel, the case manager, and Maggie, the therapist; they are fantastic, and their techs were very helpful as well. I don't regret one minute of my time there. I am a changed man because of this place, and I want to be sober. I never knew I could have fun while being sober, that's for sure. I even ended up going to their PHP program at Renaissance. I made a lot of great friendships that I didn't expect to gain as well. I wish them all the best, and I might make my way back to Cali to live/work someday!

It’s hard to fully capture the quality of California Detox in one review, but I’ll do my best. When I first arrived, it almost felt too good to be true. From the beautiful interior to the incredible views of the ocean… and mountains, the setting alone offers peace. What truly sets this place apart though, is the people. Rachel is an exceptional case worker who immediately makes you feel comfortable. She has the experience and knowledge to connect with anyone and was a key instrument in helping me build a long term sobriety plan. Renne, Jenny, Eric, Nicole, Jackson, Jared, and Larson are all outstanding. No matter the time or situation, they are there to listen and offer genuine, supportive feedback. They have created a space where vulnerability feels safe and encouraged. This experience was life changing. I’ve learned coping skills and tools that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. It’s hard to fail when you’re surrounded by this level of support and care. I’m forever grateful. Thank you all! I wish I could have stayed longer, but it’s time to step back into the real world. If you’re ready to become the a better version of yourself this is the best place to start.

My experience with California Detox was phenomenal. When I first got there, I felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. The location itself is absolutely stunning—peaceful ocean views, beautiful grounds, and a… calming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The staff are amazing! Every Tech, the therapist, the case manager and each support staff member treated me with compassion, patience, and respect. They worked extra hard to make themselves available to me at all times, and made what could have been a very difficult experience feel easy and hopeful. These people actually care, and it shows in their work. The facility is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with private and shared rooms and thoughtful amenities. I thought I was in a fancy Hotel, not a medical facility. The food was nutritious and delicious, and lunch and dinner were catered every day. The daily schedule was well balanced with medical care, therapy, and time to rest and reflect. Most importantly, this place gave me a real foundation for recovery. I left feeling physically stabilized, mentally clearer, and motivated to continue my journey.

It definitely was a soul saving experience that got me in touch with myself again and reminded me why I am seeking recovery and a sober life today. During this experience I was surrounded by the kindest most… understanding staff and I really connected with everyone here. The view of Laguna beach and the ocean atmosphere really helped shine a light on all the darkness I was surrounded by. I am extremely grateful for this experience and it has completely changed my life for the better. This was life changing in every way possible. Thank California Detox for saving my life.
