For a while I was thinking I wouldn't go to counseling and then I met Dr. D. And all of that changed. This has been an amazing experience.
What an amazing counselor she is. She really helped me through some things that I have been avoiding for some time. I truly recommend her if you serious about counseling.
Terrible communication and they’re not based out of KY they are based out of Texas that’s why they only offer virtual services
Best Therapist on the Planet !!! I would highly recommend her to EVERYONE!!
The best therapy office I have been to and I have been to over 5. Dr. Wilson cares about her patients and overcoming hurdles to reach real and feasible goals and growth even when they seem impossible. Natasha at the… front desk is also AMAZING! I find rarely does the office have an amazing therapist and front desk, but i have 0 complaints about New Life Counseling. If you need therapy in crisis they have a crisis line, but Natasha will MAKE SURE Dr. Wilson can squeeze you in. A dream team truly.
I Spoke with Christopher Robinson for the past few weeks And I Am completely Satisfied and relieved of All he has helped me through. His inspiration and attentive listening was so very appreciated, He even took the… extra step to reach out and help me find a solution to my struggle. I would highly recommend New life counseling
Been with Dr. Dom for over 8 years and she has been a Lovingly invested and brilliant partner in my growth and aspiration toward being and achieving the best versions of myself. My family and i, and our ancestors and… descendants, are forever grateful to her for helping us to heal and break generational curses so we may truly be the conduits of Love we were meant to be. Thank you Dr. Dom 🙏🏽🙌🏽💫💞🦋☀️
There is no office phone that anyone answers and they haven't replied to any of my attempts to contact them after my therapist quit with no warning. I've been two weeks, going on three now, without a weekly therapy… appointment. **I didn't say anything that didn't 100% happen to me. I've tried calling the office multiple times throughout February and no one ever answered or returned any of my voicemails I left. My therapist's name was Joshua Shaw and he went on vacation my second or third week of working with him. Then what was supposed to be my next appointment with him, he sent me an email 15 minutes before my appointment time (the day of) and told me he was quitting and that someone in the office would reach out to me or I could contact the office. (I still have the email.) So I immediately tried to call the office and it always goes to Google Voice and then no one would answer.
Hell no! Don’t do it! The math doesn’t add up I was match with a person that didn’t match me and now I don’t ever want to deal with my past again I feel worse starting therapy and to make matters worse I was blacklisted… for being honest about my past please don’t waste your time or money and she doesn’t care about the wellbeing or her clients!!!
Excellent and very profession, especially the office personal. When I am ready to start back with therapy I will return to this practice!
I worked with April. She was illing to meet me as often as I needed. She provided me with additional information I could work on when we weren't meeting. She listened intently to my struggles an truly helped me change… for the better.
Life changing experience Great service Professionals I love my therapist E. Samuels
I just spoke with Natasha, the Office Administrator, and she went so far above and beyond to help me get the counseling I desperately need right now. She carefully checked my insurance, and let me know that the date on… the paperwork I had been mailed from my insurance company was incorrect, so now I know exactly what I have to do to make sure I choose the correct option! As a VERY recent transplant from California, I have been struggling to find primary care doctors, specialists, and counselors since I arrived in Lexington. She was so sweet, comforting, and accommodating that it made me feel hope for the first time since I’ve been here. I hope to meet more people like her, and New Life is so lucky to have someone like her on their team! Thank you Natasha, our brief conversation had more of an impact in me than you will ever know.
I have absolutely LOVED my experience receiving counseling from my New Life Counseling therapists!!! Even though the first counselor I was originally paired with was not a good fit for me, Natasha (New Life’s Office… Administrator) could sense my concern after the first session and re-paired me on the spot with a different counselor who worked here at the time, Jessica. I grew tremendously during Jessica and my sessions together the whole first year so was therefore heartbroken when Jessica shared that she had taken a new position at a different location. Jessica encouraged me to at least meet her replacement, Meredith Sunley, before making any rash decisions. I felt comfortable and connected with Meredith the very first time we met and have continued to make extreme progress in my journey through our sessions together ever since. Many of my friends have started coming here to New Life Counseling to receive therapy because they could see what a difference the therapy had been making in my life! I have always felt so valued, understood, validated, and also challenged by my therapists here. New Life Counseling is not just a job to their therapists. My counselors deeply care about me and it is obvious by the way they treat me. I am a completely different person than I was when I walked through these doors the first time. I am freer, healthier, have tons of tools I had never had before, am more in control of my responses to life‘s crazy tosses and turns, and have learned how to treat myself with a whole new love and respect. I love who I am today but also can’t wait to see what new growth and healing still lies ahead. I recommend New Life Counseling to absolutely anyone who could use someone to confide in who will love them and challenge them in the ways that we all need more healing, health, and hope! Also - what do you have to loose!?? And I know - from personal experience - all that you have to gain!
Very professional, great staff very nice i would recommend this place for everyone.
Although they do have flexible hours for appointments on weekends & weekdays, that’s about the only positive review i can give to this group. The location is not good and the rooms are VERY uncomfortable, more like a… small school office—just overall unwelcoming. We were sitting way too close together in the room & there was nothing personal about her office. My appointment was at 9am, but since the practice administrator was about 10 minutes late and noticeably unorganized, the check-in process was so lengthy for ONE other client that my wait was extended another 10 minutes. The sign in sheet still had yesterdays clients name sitting out, which honestly could lead to future HIPPA violations—i was the one that changed out the sheet. Clearly some effort was put in to making a “cute” waiting room, but lacked style and comfort. The seats were hard and not comfortable. I finally was taken back into the office where instead of feeling like i was able to talk, i was being berated with questions. I understand needing to know some background, but there were moments i clearly needed to expand on something and talk about it. There were moments i wanted to cry, and needed to, but felt like i was stopped. I cannot speak for all of the counselors there, but mine talked about herself so much. I think her good intentions to relate and give advice got in the way of me being able to just TALK to someone. She was very friendly, as were most of the staff, but their manners do not make up for the lack of professionalism of the front office—if you can even call it that. Speaking from my own experiences, it’s important for me, someone seeking behavioral health, to be in a positive, structured, professional, comfortable environment. I also feel like she may not have much experience dealing with different types of mental illness. I wanted someone that was confident and seemed to have different resources to help. I know this practice has outstanding reviews, which truly confuses me. My counselor even said something about how she was trying to hurry bc someone was after me (BUT WE STARTED LATE BECAUSE YOUR COWORKER WAS LATE), not to mention she was talking about how her 9am (me)canceled before she knew i was sitting there and had a confirmation text—i’m sure this was a glitch in the system, but no coincidence considering other “oopsy-daisies”. I just really needed someone to talk to today, and i just felt rushed and unsatisfied. There were moments i wanted to just get up and leave because i was tired listening to her own experiences. Very disappointed
Wonderful kind people. Wishing them wonderful things as they expand their services and stablished one of the best counseling services in the area.
Great place with the best staff that any one could ever ask for.
Very friendly and caring.. makes you feel very comfortable
NEW LIFE COUNSELING SERVICES ROCKS BEEN GOING THERE FOR 6 YEARS
Best in the city!!! I would highly recommend New Life Counseling! Natasha is the best!!!!!!! She gets me in when ever I need to make an appointment with no hesitation, and is very professional and friendly. Great… environment and is one of the best counseling services in the City. Krissy was awesome and helped me through a lot. If your looking for somewhere that genuinely cares about the well-being of their clients GO TO NEW LIFE!!!!!!!!
This group of therapist are superb. They are my colleagues and I would not recommend anyone else in the area to do what they do. Very educated and a very professional team of therapist.
I would definitely recommend any member of the New Life Counsel staff. I feel that Ms.Wilson is a very accomplished educated woman with knowledge and sincerity and she really helped me in my time of need and I would… definitely go again if and when I need assistance and guidance.
Never met anyone who cared so much about other people. New life has seen my daughter for many years and my daughter thinks the world of her! Always recommend these nice, friendly, professional people.
