Terrible services , nurses do not listen to what the clients need , because in their own word “are under staffed “ therefore you will not get the treatment you ask or plan for.
Had a 10:00am appointment this morning intake failed to reach out on time after a week of waiting I called up there to see what the problem was. The lady said oh you were supposed to download the app I said I did… download the app and I don't have login credentials she said you have to press reset the password, so I did and after putting some credentials in it said it's going to send me an email if the credentials are correct and to check my spam folder, the lady that picked up the phone this morning at 10:15 a.m. was very rude to me, was not helpful would not connect me with whoever supposed to speak with this morning there's no difference between a virtual telephone meeting or a phone call!! My information could easily have been verified and this could have been done by phone!! I have full coverage insurance I highly recommend going somewhere else after the conversation I had with this very rude lady, she should be standing in the unemployment line!! Made me feel very unwelcomed , made me feel like it was my fault for missing this conversation and that she'd have to reschedule and couldn't connect me with who I was supposed to be talking to this morning!! Fortunately for me I own the fourth largest flooring company on the East Coast I have full coverage insurance I don't live off the system I have plenty of options, I highly recommend going somewhere else and I also highly recommend new administration in the community services board for lack of finding competent workers that are compassionate about ones struggling with psychiatric symptoms
I attend PSR groups Tuesday and Thursday, Friday around 8:00 - 3:00 pm
The emergency services team here is horrible specifically a Emergency services clinician named Karen L Williams. My experience with Miss Williams at Western Tidewater Community Services Board was extremely distressing.… She repeatedly interrupted me, refused to listen when I tried to explain myself, and seemed to have already made her decision before hearing my side. I have a well-documented autism diagnosis and depression, both of which should have been noted in my record, but she showed no understanding of how these conditions affect communication. She misinterpreted my words, focusing on phrases and slang without context, and her aggressive attitude made it impossible for me to clarify what I meant. I left the meeting feeling frightened, misunderstood, and retraumatized. People in crisis deserve compassion and fairness—not dismissal and judgment. This isn't an isolated event either it's a consistent pattern for this agency and similar agencies in Suffolk as a whole. Miss Williams did the same thing to me when I was fourteen and only a kid. Western tidewater is inefficient and hard to work with. They have a pattern of losing paperwork and being unhelpful and harmful to those they are meant to help. In comparison with the CSB in Virginia Beach they are extremely lacking. I recommend looking elsewhere for help at all costs.
Excellent experience and programs offered.
I was super impressed with the staff. I had to speak to someone regarding a financial matter and Jasmine was extremely helpful and professional. She went out of her way to help me.
Love being a part of this organization!
Had a terrible experience here. The staff, Angela McKinley, left racist remarks. It’s sad to see these types of people are working at this institution.
Update: with termination letter they sent part of a young girl's file violating hipaa and pii. I've tried to contact to let them know. I am worse after their care than I was without it. I was sent a referral for… medication from the VA, but they have a policy that they don't provide medications from those referred to the VA and never once was I told until I'd been calling to repeatedly ask about my medication appointment. The Staff Sargent Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant is not executed properly and they will give you thoughts, prayers, and lies. They are hurting veterans
Very unprofessional and unqualified lazy workers, who are getting paid without doing any work.
Got both covid shots here. People very nice. Not long waits. They have three stuff together
Went to get second Covid shot. Super nice staff (Heros).
Very nice people.
