Tranquil Shores – Saint Petersburg

Saved my life. Went for a 90 day inpatient 12 years ago and haven't reentered another rehab since. Built great fundamentals to recovery and kept me long enough to get started. If I had only done 30 days I know I likely… would have relapsed . I now am healthy and happy and have a trade skill, which is quite dangerous but I'm always clear of mind and haven't been injured for the entire 8 years I've been practicing my trade.

The team at Tranquil Shores is amazing. My clients get great treatment, and their families get consistent communication. The facility is beautiful, clinical staff and programming are legit. As an industry pro for 15… years, I'm happy to share that Tranquil is great.

On April 17th, I celebrated 13 years of sobriety. Thirteen years ago this month, I was overwhelmed, struggling with addiction, a high-pressure career, and family life. I turned to Tranquil Shores for help. The 90-day… program, the counselors, the groups, medical staff, and culture were simply amazing! The experience gave me back a new life with my family and my career. Thank you Tranquil Shores!

I went to rehab while facing drug charges. First was Hazelden/Betty Ford. After five weeks, they wrote a letter to the judge on my case that said, “Sam has emotional issues that we are unequipped to deal with.” I… transferred to a second dual diagnosis treatment center that was, similarly, unable to help me. With very little hope, I tried a third time, at Tranquil Shores. I can’t pretend that it was an easy/totally smooth experience, but they were the first team to not give up on me. They were the only facility that actually lived up to their promise of “individualized treatment.” I have a graduate degree from one of the top universities in the world but the most important education I ever received was from Tranquil Shores. It’s one of the only places I’ve ever really felt welcome. I can’t say enough good things about their program. If you or a loved one are lost and struggling, ready to give up, go to Tranquil Shores.

This place will treat you like a child if you make a little mistake. They will take away your cell phones and iPads until your punishment is over. Be very careful before you sign up. They are very sneaky. They also want… you in bed asleep by 10:00pm and you must take your meds by 9:00pm. You can not lock your doors to your room. They will come in every 30 minutes to make sure you’re asleep. If you are a woman, the male staff comes in all night long.

Out of all the treatment programs I have participated in, Tranquil Shores goes above and beyond in all areas to help a client succeed on their recovery path. Clinically, the team does an excellent job at addressing each… area of life where mental health and substance abuse are affected. The overall atmosphere is one of care and it is the type of care that challenges someone to grow. I would only suggest Tranquil Shores to a friend or loved one in need of treatment. Best team ever!

Tranquil shores is a life changing experience. Having been to 7 other treatment centers I found Tranquil shores on the web they are a part of Community Care services for the Veterans Administration health services, I… encourage anyone who may be seeking help to come to Tranquil shores you will not regret your decision. My life filled with PTSD, trauma and drug use to cover up the pain I had been in for nearly a decade has been changed forever for the good. The therapist show up every day with the most amazing attitudes to help you better your life they care about you genuinely the staff that surrounds you the entire time are nothing less than amazing I promise you this is the place to be if you want a new life God bless all of you and thank you for helping me on my way to healing my journey has just started and I am excited for my new way of life

This place is incredible. I have never experienced such kindness, care, and loving professionalism. This goes for the staff, the therapists, and the medical team. The curriculum changes each week and is run by… professionals who have the experience to know first hand what they speak of. The families are involved in the most beautiful way, which really brings it home. And the setting is luxurious and peaceful... I should say Tranquil. From the gift baskets to the soft clean, delightfully smelling beds, the moment I arrived and joined the 14 other guests, I could finally breath again and know that I was in the right place. I feel healthy and happy again and I see the light and feel the sunshine, but most importantly, I have a smile on my face and in my heart again. Thank you Tranquility Shores, thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ 🤝🏻❤️♾️

Great people, great care and beautiful residence on beach!

Tranquil Shores helped save my life when I could not. Everything was top notch from the amenities to the therapists. They pride themselves on having a great client to therapist ratio which really helps. One thing I… noticed was that every employee truly cares about helping the clients from the support staff to the owner. Tranquil Shores is accommodating to any needs within reason to make you feel as comfortable as possible during your stay. It is truly the best treatment center in the country. They also have a great outpatient and alumni program to help you stay connected and continue your sobriety once you graduate from their program. I can’t thank the team enough!!!

This treatment center was instrumental in helping a loved one get sober. Condos on the beach are clean and comfortable. The frequent individual counseling sessions, family education, and weekly meetings with the… psychiatrist were so exceptional. The medical care was an additional unexpected benefit. Tranquil Shores really did help my family member “reclaim his life.”

I would highly recommend anyone that was committed to getting sober and changing their lives to invest in Tranquil Shores. The entire staff and facility are outstanding. My son’s experience at Tranquil Shores has changed him in ways that finally give my son and I hope for his future. My son has been an opioid addict for over 7 years and has been to rehab at least seven times but nothing… has ever worked. His experience at Tranquil Shores has been a totally different experience from day one - he actually felt good being there and much to my relief was not chomping at the bit to leave. On his own, my son decided to stay and complete the 90-day program at Tranquil Shores. My son’s counselor Mark is amazing and is the perfect counselor for him. He has a rapport with his counselor and because of that Mark has done incredible work with my son that has made all the difference in his recovery. Tranquil Shores offers weekly meetings for families. These meeting were always very organized and led by very competent and informative presenters. These meeting helped me better understand what an addict goes through and also gave me ideas for helping myself. Additionally, all staff that I interacted with at Tranquil Shores were very professional, caring and understanding. Tranquil Shores has a very innovative recovery program that addresses mind, body and spirit and I think works. I would definitely recommend Tranquil Shores to anyone that is looking for an effective treatment/recovery program for addiction.

Tranquil Shores is an amazing facility! My addiction had created an unmanagable life for both myself and my family. Other rehab facilities were not unique to me or directed toward issues in 'our' lifes (more basic text… book like). After diligent research, my children encouraged me to take the trip to Tranquil Shores. Their team is truly dedicated to all clients and their lasting sobriety, with emphasis on 'you're not alone' and their is always someone in your court to help you through. All staff and the facilites make you feel worthy of a happy and meaningful life regardless of the past. With true determination in staying sober, and embracing and trusting the staff and the program .... I am maintaining sobriety and will be forever grateful to my family and Tranquil Shores!

Wow, where to even begin. With Tranquil Shores, there was a different, more positive, more caring feel than similar options we had explored almost from day one. They really took the time to get to know my family member;… and even me to a degree as well! They highly encouraged family to be involved on a regular basis in a way that worked even through the craziness of COVID. My family member’s time there has quite literally changed all of our lives for the better. It will always be a day by day process, but the impact made by the Tranquil Shores team to get the ball rolling in the right direction has been immeasurable to this point and I can’t thank them enough!

Tranquil Shores is an amazing program that treats addiction, substance abuse and trauma. All the staff members are incredibly professional and knowledgeable. The condos on the beach are beautiful. I would recommend this… program to anyone that is suffering from addiction. 5 Stars.

This program is second to none. I’ve seen other programs and there is no comparison. The clients get an individualized experience based on their needs. The clients are treated with respect and dignity. The staff works… to show those struggling with addiction that there is life on the other side. There is HOPE at Tranquil Shores.

Bam Margara is being held here against his will. Don’t give a facility like this your business. There’s plenty of other rehabs that don’t do this to people.

Tranquil shores has quality group therapy and individual therapy. It is such a wonderful facility!
