Marram Health Center – Gary

Horrible experience with so call marriage therapist. Her name Laura Uzelac. Very rude, disrespectful, she doesn't know how to treat her patients with respect. Instead of acting professional, she acts like she has no… training. She doesn't even deserve 1star.

Worst experience ever for my daughter. They only get a 2 because of her wonderful mental health care. Her medical care has been horrendous. Repeated delays of care, no attention to abnormal labs. We finally were… referred to hematology. They sent us to infectious disease! The practice manager Megan was absolutely no help. She said that we had to call insurance to find our own hematologist! DELAY OF CARE is a big deal! Shame on you!

If you aren't interested in caring staff and doctors who listen attentively to whats going on with you ,and do their best to meet your needs, then don't come here because that is what Marram Healthcare & it's staff is… all about. It's convenient,wheelchair accessible,handicap parking availability, and even a pharmacy on the premises. The doctors and nurses treat you like family- you won't find this anywhere else.

I literally loved Marram when I first started going to see Dr.Watkins. She was very kind, always got back in a timely manner but now that she’s no longer with Marram I decided to go with Dr.Tywon Ward. The first few… visits was very unpleasant. She gave off “I’m just trying to get you in and out” vibes. I’ve been dealing with an infection for months and she’s put me on 3 antibiotics, which haven’t seemed to help. I’ve been calling trying to get recommendations to someone who actually specialize in that field and I have got NOTHING back. I talked to her MA once and she told me that dct had an emergency. I still have yet to get any answers from them. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all, not sorry

This place is very prejudice, multiple people working there are! Save yourself a headache. I only gave this place a shot because I love Dr.Ramsey.. I had a blood drawn scheduled for 10:45 and had an ultrasound scheduled… at 11. I got called back for my blood drawn at 11:04 and since I know I was getting called for an ultrasound I asked if I should come back later for the blood because I didn’t wanna risk someone going ahead of me and me having to wait because I had to take my son to therapy after. The lady said “ I know what I’m doing” . I never had a doubt in my mind she didn’t know what she was doing, my concern was the time! I explained to her what I just said and she goes “ you need to calm down” .. she could of stated that I would still be first for my ultrasound but she told me to calm down for my worry without confirming I’ll still be first. Anyway I didn’t reply to that I sat down in the chair and this 300lb+ lady that was trying to take my blood her name was either Clarissa or Cholesterol literally huffed and puffed and slammed down the tubes for my vitals! I got up immediately and said “oh no you’re not taking my blood with an attitude like that, I’ll come back” she said “ you won’t come back here” and that was that. I sat down and waited for my ultrasound.. The office manager came out and while the office manager came to talk to me you hear that lady talking about me in the back LOUD! I told the office manager which is also over 300lbs which I don’t care your size but you’re at a doctors office working with class 3 obesity, that’s crazy.. she started sticking up for that lady. I told her “ I don’t need you sticking up for her” and that lady claimed that’s not what she was doing but if you give an excuse to someone’s very rude actions that exactly what you’re doing! Anyway she took my blood, whatever. I go back and set for my ultrasound and eventually gets called back.. the ultrasound lady ( short hair + glasses. She’s over 70 from what she said, looks younger) and she was ok up until she asked me how many kids I have and how old are they. When I told her I had a 7 month old she said “oh girl you’re for the streets” I said “ well all my kids have the same father” and that was that.. I know I’m not the only person to get pregnant right away after having a child! & little did she know before my 7 month old I miscarried twins and I really felt it was Gods plan to give me both babies again in some way.. really rude remark.. Then the next day I get a call from Methodist asking me when I’m going to schedule my ultrasound.. I said “excuse me I had my ultrasound yesterday” she asked where and I said “Marram” and she replies “oh that’s why we didn’t see it” and I replied “so everytime I do anything at Maream you guys will call me because you don’t get notified from them?” She said “well” … very very low income place and the workers treat it as such. They need to hire more healthy workers because that may have something to do with their messed up attitude. I’m not your home girl I’m a patient.. yeah I was happy to see Dr.Ramsey returned from his retirement but unfortunately you deal with all these rude workers that seem to have a stick up their booty because they’re very prejudice, not worth this mistreatment to see Dr.Ramsey. One star is to high of a rating..

Been over a month with them incapable of answering a simple yes/no question. They claim they don't know what it is despite saying they would have someone get back to me about it. I got screenshots to prove it too. These… people can't communicate internally I wouldn't expect them to be able to communicate with other doctors or pharmacies.

I would like to give zero stars if I could. Huge waste of time and the doctor would not listen to me or empathize with my issues. Don't bother going to this place if you have legitimate mental issues because they will… give you meds that don't work and take you off of your old meds completely. This woman said she would start a taper, but just didn't prescribe anything, but the same new meds she already sent to the pharmacy. Very slopy doctor who doesn't care and shouldn't be working in healthcare!

Doesn't respond to my multiple requests for a follow up appointment from my Emergency Department visit over 1 week ago 🙃, I am still severely sick 😫

Dr. Brown and Tiffany are great! They explained what they were doing as they went along, they did a thorough exam, explained my options to me, and were very reassuring and kind. The aftercare was excellent and I can't… recommend them enough!

Unwilling to accommodate a flu shot. Leaving the community to find a phicisian whose office staff can accommodate scheduling a flu shot.☹️
