Semoran Treatment Center – Gary Detox and Rehab Services
Semoran Treatment Center – Gary is recorded as offering detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The withdrawal stage is clinically observed, which is what makes it safer than stopping alone. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

Semoran Treatment Center – Gary Address, Location and Contact Information
Records give the address as 5001 East Dunes Highway, Gary, Indiana, 46403. Lake County covers this area. Provision extends to the wider area, so check the journey before you set off. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
Phone ahead about parking, access and what the first appointment covers. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

Thank you for the exceptional staff that helped navigate thru 8/11/26-8/19/26 storm and aftermath. Corprate absolutely should of provided a generac generator. Shame of them for not having power in a medical faucility.
Over the days that the power was off the staff at Semeron/New Season did an outstanding job. They did thier best during an extremly difficult time. They went above and beyond to accommodate us patients the best they… could. The only thing I would say that needs to be addressed is that they had to rent a generator because there's not one already provided for them. The amount of storms we have in NWI,it has happened before and will definitely happen again. The staff and patients deserve to know they'll have a clinic to come to everyday to continue our recovery journey.
Thankfully staff worked hard to keep the clinic open and kept everything well organized during the recent national disaster in which there was no power for almost 2 weeks! I was surprised that they didnt have a… generator but that's probably bc of cooperate.
Exceptional service during recent natural disaster. Corporate needs to supply an owned generator. This will happen again. It is northwest Indiana.
New season is a great place for recovery. Regina, Makeba and Diane are great counselors. The 3 nurses Elizabeth, Tamera, and the new lady are fantastic! This place is patient focused, caring, and they go above and… beyond for patient to feel supported and respected. After the major storm when the power was out for over a week. The clinic was open and had a system to be able to get everyone their dosages. Their dedication and professionalism makes a meaningful difference in the lives they serve. I’m so grateful for new season’s team and highly Recommend New Season to anyone who is seeking recovery services.
I have been coming to this clinic since the middle of March 2026 and we recently experienced an extended power outage at the clinic for around 12 days. The staff did an extremely good job in ensuring every patient was… assisted and taken care of. Lines to check in were a little long for a bit there but that was definitely expected considering the circumstances, but they were open every day. Would have liked to use the bathroom after standing in line for an hour and a half but it was what it was, they were concerned about it safety. I just want to say great job New Seasons and thank you very much!!!!!!
This storm was a actual disaster, for lake county. I have been going to this awesome clinic for over a year, and they became my family after this . Every morning these awesome counselors showed up for us in total darkness… and made sure,w/out delay, and made sure we got our meds, and cared about our sobriety. Every single person here really gave me more than they know! Thanks ❤️
When the power was out seemed to run better than when the power was off. There was one day we stood in a big line and the counselors still tried to accommodate us..
During black out as usual they went far & beyond ...great staff & director...
Good understanding pressure
Just want to give New Seasons a really BIG thank you for all the great work they did over this black out ! To all the staff and especially the nurses . Its really nice to know you can trust all the people who make this… facility run even during an emergency. They showed up , kept things moving very well , and took care of everyone with speed and efficiency during this disaster. Most places probably would have just shut down yet they stayed open ! It really is a comfort knowing my treatment is in the hands of people who really care. No wonder so many people choose this place for their care . It ran quiet , quickly and the staff were good enough to literally stand with flashlights and direct us in the dark , so we could receive our medication and go on with our days. They worked in the dark and with no air conditioning so we didnt go without !! So again , THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!! You didnt have to do that but you did. This place really is one of the best in the area. Thanks everyone for going way beyond what was required. It really is a quality place . 10 out of 10 .
This place has saved my life I was in bad shape when I started going here now I'm 3 and a half years sober every thing doesn't work out smoothly but nothing ever does what has impressed me is we haven't had electricity… for over a week and they have still made it in every day for regular hours and giving out the prescribed medicine I'm very grateful for the staff coming in everyday thank you all for making sure we get our medicine every day
As a family member, I feel compelled to share what I have witnessed because the impact this clinic has had on my brother’s life has been devastating. If your family is thinking about going here - do everything you can… to stop them! When my brother first entered treatment, our family was hopeful that he would receive the support and care necessary to recover and rebuild his life. Instead, we watched him become increasingly dependent on a system that, from our perspective, seemed more focused on maintaining patients (collecting $$$$) than helping them achieve lasting recovery. The most heartbreaking part has been watching his physical and mental health deteriorate. He has lost all of his teeth during the years he has been involved in this program. Whether due to the treatment itself, lack of proper medical guidance, or inadequate attention to patient health, the outcome has been tragic for him and painful for our entire family to witness. What concerns me most is the apparent lack of accountability and meaningful progress toward helping patients regain independence. Families place enormous trust in treatment providers … “Doctors” believing they will help their loved ones heal. Our experience has left us feeling deeply disappointed, frustrated, and heartbroken. I strongly encourage anyone considering this clinic to thoroughly research all available treatment options, ask difficult questions, and advocate aggressively for their loved one’s long-term well-being. I also encourage families who believe they have experienced harm or negligence to seek independent legal advice so they can better understand their rights and options. In my opinion, the practices and patient outcomes associated with this clinic deserve closer scrutiny by the appropriate regulatory authorities. Families deserve transparency, accountability, and treatment programs that prioritize genuine recovery and quality of life. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after witnessing the damage this situation has caused my brother and our family, I could not remain silent.
The lady in charge will go out of her way to help you her name is ms regina .. The nurses go beyond their jobs . A special that to ms Elizabeth and ms tamron . They all will move worlds for you and I a special shot Out… for Diane
The staff is horrible. Their attitudes are nasty and you. They’re not there to help you. They’re there to treat you like a drug addict. Addict plain n simple All this chapter nasty guard even
Been a pTient here for 8 years and once upon a time it was great thete was alaays someone there for my needs TODAY I AM TREATED LIKE A BURDEN WHEN I ASK FOR HELP THEY ARE LACKING EMPLOYEES TO DEl with our counseling… srzsions snd such was so suprised when yesterday they were cslling us out by our first and last names whats the patient ID NUMBER FOR?
This place is the absolute worst. They treat you like a piece of scum they just scraped off the bottom of their shoes. You're a number with $ attached. They lie to me. I have done everything required to phase up and… have been clean for over a year and only have 2 take homes. I've been called a nasty person for complaining to another counselor and punished for complaining that my counselor isn't doing their job. So that then gives her an excuse to not do her job some more as punishment. I'm a disabled veteran. I'm not going to shut up and take it. When I've written out formal grievance paperwork, corporate never got it. And I get called a nasty person. It's no wonder they're #1 in the nation. No complaints get to corporate, they bully their patients and I'm probably going to need to find a new clinic after this. If someone in corporate reads this HELP ME PLEASE.
I have been coming to semoran new seasons treatment center for over 6 years and never in any of those 6 years have I ever have my HIPAA violated or have been treated like the staff is better than me, until today. Diane,… someone who is supposed to be a 'trusted' counselor, is someone who instead is a power hungry and unsympathetic human. As I'm being called to the window she tried to block me from going to dose and also made some ignorant comments, then went on to tell my counselor to CONTROL HER PATIENTS! Basically because I didn't let her bully me like she does every one else...oh and Diane didn't like that. Even after knowing what a disgusting person she really is after hearing how she talks to and about people, as I am sitting outside where the group was going on (literally before this had even happened) but after I saw how she acted towards me in a hallway full of people, oh and tried to deny my dose. Like what a miserable human. She obviously doesn't like when people stick up for themselves. She was just dragging addicts in that group and it was nauseating. Even after all this happened in the hallway and patients from that group are saying how this counselor acts like she is better than the patients. I sure don't want anyone or anything like that around me and my sobriety! Being in that type of position and treating people in recovery like that is disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourself, Diane. Literally the ONLY negative thing I have to say about Semoran. Like I said i have been in the program since August 2019 and I have had a very positive experience with everyone else. Regina is so kind and supportive but also very no nonsense. Michelle, the nurse practitioner has a heart of gold and the best sense of humor, she will always have a smile on her face. Dawn is my counselor and she's amazing, she has worked very hard with me and I have came so far in my recovery. I can always depend on her to be honest with me. Steve, you aren't my counselor but you have helped me through a lot too and i am very grateful for you. This program was the best thing that has ever happened to me. You have to be ready to commit yourself to sobriety and really be done for it to truly work for you. And there are some wonderful counselors to help you. Bruce, Makeba, Vic, just to name a few. Even negative things you can try to take away and make something positive from it. This may have started off as sounding like a negative review, but you can't let one rotten apple ruin the bunch. 🙏🏻
First time for me to ever receive any help 45
I attend semeron in Gary Indiana. I've been going there for some years now. It took a long time to really get serious about getting clean. The good thing was they allowed me to make those mistakes with compassion and… didn't kick me out for not being clean right away. They allowed me to make that decision for myself. My counselor Diane is so wonderful! She's my counselor and my brothers as well , we both attend. She's so caring and really goes out of her way to be compassionate and really makes an effort to meet you "where you are" , which is rare in a person. She deserves the most credit for any success I've enjoyed . She's a miracle worker . And then there's the nursing staff . They really make the place function . They dispense the medication and evaluate you at the window to make sure everythings is ok with you. Again , great people . They do a lot of the heavy lifting. They deal with a lot and still remain friendly and professional . Regina is the boss. LoL. She runs and sort of coordinates everything that happens at semeron. There isn't anyone who could be better this job. If you let her know you have an issue she's on it . Fast. She's super dedicated to making this experience as easy and beneficial to everyone as possible. If you have a question or a problem or any issue really , she's the one to see. She's the brains of the operation, and she's really really good at it . Even the security is helpful and friendly . They are good at keeping away any riff raff or stopping fights or anything like that. But that isn't a major issue at this place . It's a very professional, very clean , compassionate and it saved my life and my brothers too. I love their groups and classes too. I think that's been another reason I'm clean too. They have so many different forms of rehabilitation and avenues of treatment to choose from, it's easy to find something you'll like . It's a great place that is literally the reason why hundreds of people are alive today. They don't get enough credit.
This is the best clinic and the best option for medicated assisted treatment in Gary. There are a few counselors who have been there for quite some time that actually care about their clients. (I.e. Bruce, mike cody, )… this Clinic is not ghetto and they do their best to stop the shenanigans. If you need the help and you truly want the help and you want to use medicated assisted therapy this is the best place to go in Gary. They have a brand new building and have plenty of dosing windows. The only time you will experience a wait is at 5:00 a.m. opening when everyone is trying to get to "work" they will give you take home doses if you work the program and continually have clean urine screens. It is what YOU make it. The nurse practitioner Michelle vorice is absolutely amazing and a caring great doctor. She has helped me more than anyone. Bruce does a great job as well but is strict because he has so many clients and responsibilities. All in all it is what you make it and you can succeed and so maintenance here.
If you are ready to make positive changes in your life, this is the treatment center for you. All the counselors work closely with each of their patients, providing a safe and trusting environment. Every nurse is very… kind and understanding. If you're willing to put in the work, the results will follow. I thank, Miss Regina, for managing such a wonderful and caring center. Plus, I have the best counselor, Diane. I could not have achieved my goals without her!
Great staff
I been coming to this place for almost a month now and the has been an issue EVERY SINGLE TIME I go into dose...... I've had 2 days only that I was able to go in, sign in, n dose, there's always an issue wit the nurses… dosing clients n issues getting dosed bcuz of paperwork the counselors fail to give u to sign and there's ALWAYS an issue here.....I WOULD NOT EVER REFER ANYONE TO THIS NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE EAXH N EVERY DAY. If u wanna jump thru hoops for a couple hours each n every day u dose then this is the place for u, but if ur looking to wake up n go get dosed this is not that place. I wud giv ANYTHING to go bac to the clinics in Illinois jus to avoid the consistent issues that last a couple hrs at times, what happened to getting dosed n going home??
First of all I'd like to say what did they do to the actual methadone that they give us because I've been there for 10 years going on 11 years and the medicine used to work now I don't know what they have done to it but… it has changed it doesn't hold you no matter how high you raise your dose you will still feel the same it has nothing to do with how long I've been there I can tell the difference just by looking at it before it was more like a thicker syrup like substance you literally had to use water to get it out of your cup and now you don't need it at all it pours right out like water I've noticed this for the last couple years they need to go back to the original medicine that they had instead of trying to cut corners and make more money. Oh and please don't tell me you apologize for any inconveniences I might have had and to talk to my counselors because they can't do nothing about it.
