Glass Health Programs Inc – Essex Detox and Rehab Services
The register shows Glass Health Programs Inc – Essex providing detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The withdrawal stage is clinically observed, which is what makes it safer than stopping alone. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.
The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

Glass Health Programs Inc – Essex Address, Location and Contact Information
The facility address is 8909 Kelso Drive, Essex, Maryland, 21221. Essex sits in Baltimore County. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
Phone ahead about parking, access and what the first appointment covers. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. Admissions lines are frequently busiest early in the week, which is worth knowing if the first attempt fails.

Completely new review. I deleted my old review because a lot has changed for the better. I absolutely LOVE Lester, Rebecca, and the Amazing Mrs Davita. My counselor Davita is A1 top notch, she is up there in my top two… with my old counselor Ciara. And that’s saying a lot. She actually CARES about me which is amazing. Rebecca is the best and Lester is always so pleasant. The nurses have been great and so has the doctor. Whatever changes they made have been working!
My Franklin Knill and I had a good experience. Are they still doing the Christmas giveaway?
Medmarks spectacular
Mrs val and the women who work the front are great, pleasant and a pleasure to be around.
The staff is incredibly friendly, but it’s rare to see my counselor once a month as required. Additionally, there’s a long wait every morning. The morning should be reserved for those who work only, as I have to be at… work by 6. On more days than not, I wait 15 minutes or more to be medicated. The nurses are constantly on their phones and not paying attention. Usually, there’s only one or two nurses there in the morning. This situation has me seriously considering switching programs.
This is by far the best clinic I've been at! Absolutely EVERYONE is so caring and you don't receive any judgement from anyone there. I've been here for over 6 years and will never go to another clinic. Medmark (Essex)… is the place to go, they help with so many other things besides just getting help with addiction.
Just saying I love everyone in this facility especially front desk lady! And Sara also mrs.Val them three amazing people
I’ve been coming here for about 3 years, and I can easily say I’ve never had a problem. The staff is always welcoming, and, I mean Every single day you walk through the door you are greeted with a smile and a “good… morning”. The people who have negative things to say about this place are the ones who don’t follow the simple “rules” (basically watch your language, & once a month give a urine/see your counselor).
Place is perfect if ur really tryin to get off something ..working for me ...my counselor is amazing lady ms.val.is her name ...
It was great at the begining going there but after 2 yrs the nurses became rude the counselors stopped caring I wouldn't recommend going here at all
Well, I have been going for at least 2 years, I stay clean otherwise, not that that matters, but I was away for a week and guest dosed and came back for a re-enter, but did not dose for a couple days for the road trip.… I went to the lab tech Dinka (Or however it’s spelled) and brought the UA cup back once, she says not enough, then more, she says not enough, AGAIN and she says not enough (mind u for the Dr they only need one drop) I have done this SO many times. I KNOW WHATS ENOUGH!!!!! Otherwise most of the staff is great! Mrs Manners! Mrs veradeen, Rebecca, Mrs Val, Lester, the new cute young dude up front (lol) the drs, etc….it’s mostly fast and they seem to care. It’s very clean and most staff treat you like human beings. But she treated me like I was a pice of white trash fr!!! I told her if I was not strong I would go do fentanyl and probably hurt myself and that I would have to go buy a bottle and she just smacked her teeth at me, then I told my counselor I was doing so and she just says “ok” ugh. It was a terrible experience while I was feeling very ill at the time. I worst clinic experience EVER!
Staff is rude Front desk talks disrespectfully to clients and makes fun of them when there not around Unprofessional Seems like a buisness that doesn’t care about the clients just a revolving door
My new counselor makes me feel like i cant talk to her and looks at her job not as helping but doing me a favor i have to listen to what the people working had for breakfast or what there doing later before they call… people to the window if you want help try another place first this place will help but it vome with headaches
If you do the right thing like they ask it's all gravy.. Been here for years and only go once a month. My councilor is very persistent and easy to talk to. You can tell she honestly cares about her clients and always… has some good advice. She will go out of her way to try to help. Kristen is the best and I love talking to her when I'm there.
This location is very understanding and caring for each individual person. If you are honest and make a mistake, you just tell the truth that is my advice, but this place has some really great people that I met over the… past few years that I’ve been coming in and I will continue to follow my treatment plan to the best of my ability and work with these amazing people
Not a patient but from what I’ve heard this place is great, they treat their patients with respect and kindness rather than like trash as a lot of people in this world do. The patient I know had a counselor named Ms Val… who I always heard pleasant things about, thanks to her he’s doing a lot better and getting closer and closer to recovery. Thank you guys for making him feel welcome.
I'm not in your program but I really would love to know how my husband is and he is still getting high every single day. If I could give 0 stars I would.
I went there for over two years, continually clean but had my take homes taken away because my counselor left at 1 and I couldn’t make it in before then to see her. The program is open till 3 but I was punished because… I couldn’t get there before 1. Utterly ridiculous don’t go here they don’t treat their clients with amy respect or common Courtesy
The staff is truly amazing. You can really tell they are committed and really care for the clientele. Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s making a difference!
Iv spent the past few years working on myself, getting clean and healthy. Medmark has helped me in so many ways. I attend the ladies group every Friday, ran by Mrs Val & Ms Wanda. The two of them have taught me self… love practices, how to be strong during those hard times. All lessons from these ladies are always right on point and much needed... My complaint about Medmark would have to fall on the front desk and the director for the Kelso location. Iv have seen on numerous occasions watched as they gossiped about other workers and counselors. Also the nurses are nice but super slow. Over all this place has helped me. But it's what a person puts into it, if it will work or not...
The rules they have don't make sense when it comes to certain things.and they let the nurses make decisions that should be up to the counselor or the director They like to make recovery hard for people.
This place needs help. I would normally say I love it but since covid I would NOT recommend anyone coming to this place when I recruited 6 ppl not anymore I want ppl to get help not do deals in line or through the… windows or not come cus they cant get there cus they dont believe theres a storm so I ask nurse my counselor n another n they laughed at me saying theres no storm but the way they laughed I say I wasnt the 1st to ask nor will I be the last so I say ok what happens when there is a storm o we will call u o great I love driving all the way home just come back I should have wrote this sooner but I was hoping the facility would have but the turn around rate is crazy I'm on my 4th year n 6th counselor cus they dont last if u want to be treated like an addict then by all means come here
Medmark on Kelso is a joke
I give this program 5 stars because it is a clean and safe environment to get treatment. My counselor is available when I need her and there are daily groups available. Even during this unpresidented situation with… Covid-19 this program has given me weekly takehome bottles and has made this trying time that much more easier for me. All programs have their flaws I mean look at population it is serving we are not exactly the easiest to work with. But this program has exceeded my expectations. I just want to say thank you to the staff for all that they do on an everyday basis.
