Easterseals MORC – Center Line Detox and Rehab Services
Easterseals MORC – Center Line appears on the register for detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Medical supervision covers the withdrawal period, where alcohol and benzodiazepines carry real risk. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

Finding a therapist can be a crapshoot, but I can highly recommend Kristi B. at Easterseals. Kristi is intuitive, empathetic, and most importantly provides actionable steps that don't feel overwhelming for the mental… health journey. She's a great listener, balancing that with insights and gentle encouragement. Some therapists just sit there and nod, too hesitant to jump in (which is fitting for some people, but not me!), but Kristi knows right when to offer advice, and when to just let you vent. Can't recommend Kristi enough!
I’ve been with them for multiple years. Let me say there’s some good staff like therapists, psychiatrists and case workers. There’s also very unprofessional ones. This office also likes to cancel my appointments the… same day that they’re supposed to happen, with little to no notice which I find very unprofessional. It may take you a while to find a therapist you click with here. Office is decent in person. Now I only do telehealth with easterseals which is better.
I have to say I'm really disappointed in this place. My mother is 72, has dementia and severe COPD. She is constantly in and out of the hospital and when I call to cancel or reschedule her appointments, I tell them… she's in the hospital but apparently they lack communication skills as there have been other issues. She's been told twice now that she will be kicked out of their program for non participation. I will be taking her somewhere else.
Communication is horrible here, everything is not how it used to be. I've been in the mental health system pretty much my whole life and this specific facility is dirty and just not what we need for our mental health… system. Alicia Newberry (case manager) & Dawn Horton are both amazing that they have that work there. In my personal experience, they haven't been able to keep up. I had a appointment today, got a text message from the automated service and nobody today knew about my appointment for the 16th of February 2026. Continued issues, look elsewhere. Edit: July 27, I felt completely violated and disrespected by my dr Chris Subotich. I had labs faxed over and this is after a phobia I've faced my whole life, finally get my bloodwork done for labs 10+ yrs later and they can't find the fax and tell me to have them fax it. This isn't the 1st, 3nd or 3rd time the front desk or SOMEONE not doing their job. Then she asks me to weigh myself so she can compare it to the last recorded weight. At this point I'm having trust issues and ask her to tell me what I weighed last time they weighed me. She responds "I can't do that, u need to tell me first" & literally made it a big deal. Made me feel like SHE had something to hide like didn't take record of it. I weigh myself and she's still waiting for me to tell her my current weight. I'm waiting for her to tell me and this went on for a couple minutes. Then she tells me and I tell her and she says "see that wasn't hard was it?". I thought i had rights?!!? And then proceeds to just talk to me like I'm a child. I say "is that all, I'm sorry, I just feel disrespected" and she responds "byeeee". Is this how Dr's really treat their mental health patients?? Not to mention she's 60+ yrs old and idc, but is that how we do things? Then tries to give excuses on everything. I think she didn't like the fact I told my therapist she says "we don't fix nothing that isn't broken". I don't know, but I do know DO NOT GO HERE!!!
This place will neglect your case and refuse to write a script for your child. Just unbelievable how they have kept my child from getting her medication!! My child is at risk for her mental health to spiral out of… control and they don’t care but I bet if it was their kid they would do it off the books in a blink of an eye. I can’t wait to find another mental health provider because they are going to lose my case too for neglecting to help my daughter!!
Just run. Run as fast as you can. They dont even know about their own medicaid waiver program they will drive you to your literal wits end trying to get them to understand the things they offer they force male… psychiatrists on you and they diagnose you with these insane things and then they expect you to keep working with them and trusting them. I needed help getting food after the hospital hot meals delivered they couldnt help now its been a month and i am very low on food and i cant really go shopping they are acting like im the problem i always have to be accountable so lets hold them accountable too lets not starve out a patient who needs help cooking meals. This is ridiculous they dont care about your actual needs, they just want to shove you into other programs that do not help you and make you worse. I had no therapist the therapists here were useless and they couldnt even help me get one but man can they yell at me and tell me to be accountable. I just wanted to get on the waiver wait list thats it. I hate my life since this place got involved. I cant wait to be happy again maybe not having 76 appointments a month will help me and moving away from this hell hole also would help me. I wished the nurse this morning listened to me when i said i wanted to be done. I am done all around because of this place no more appointments or calls i have absolutely had enough.
They won't treat you correctly refuse to acknowledge what your body knows, gave me 2 blood pressure pills, after explaining my BP always runs low, so the catapress cause me to have 3 false heart attacks. All you do here… is video chat small talk NO TREATMENT.STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. IVE TRIED 26 DIFFERNT MEDS ONLY 1 WORKED AND THEH REFUSE TO PRESCRIBE IT TO ME, THEY WANNA KEEP TRYING IM AT 26 I REFUSE TO TRY 27 28 29 30 MEDICATIONS
I just got off the phone & I really don’t know what to say about Brandy who answered the phone..as I was trying to speak & tell her why I was calling to see if I could get some help she cut me off over 3 times in just a… few minutes..What a shame to treat people with serious health issues like trash or like I’m not intelligent..I hope you review how she represents your business & fire her or train her.Absolutely not how you treat disabled people.
Sheryl is amazing. The phone call to set up the appointment was extremely pleasant and fun. You can feel the love and help through the phone. Thank you Easterseals and especially thank you Sheryl. You deserve… recognition!
My son who is autistic has a support coordinator here. She wasn't much help she pretty much knew my on CLS was going to get denied through the county. She had me sit for over an hour to go over CLS goals knowing it… wasn't going to go through. Not only that she hasn't communicated with me since I just found out my son's cls is cut off. Her supervisor has reached out either. I would suggest if you live in Wayne county to stay there to get support for your special needs kids. Macomb can care less.
Wonderful experience great staff considerate about time
I know some people get frustrated with the turnover or when the front desk can’t always answer the phone right away, but I cannot say enough positive things about Easterseals MORC. They truly have some wonderful people… providing support.... and these are just some of them. My case manager, Helen P., has been such a blessing in coordinating all of my services through Easterseals. She has gone above and beyond to make sure my care feels seamless — from connecting me with therapy and employment support to helping with medication management. She even took the initiative to gather my records from a previous provider so nothing was missed. Helen is incredibly resourceful, patient, and caring, and I truly appreciate the peace of mind she brings by keeping everything organized and on track. My therapist, Janai W., has been a wonderful source of support and encouragement. She truly listens, creates a safe and welcoming space, and helps me work through challenges with compassion and understanding. Her guidance has made a real difference in my life, and I’m grateful for her insight and care. Easterseals MORC is fortunate to have someone as dedicated and compassionate as Janai on their team. The assistance that I've received from Jada F. 's employment support services has been top-tier. From the very beginning, she has demonstrated genuine care, professionalism, and a strong commitment to helping me succeed. Jada takes the time to understand my individual strengths, career goals, and personal challenges, and is providing tailored guidance every step of the way. I look forward to being one of her success stories! Dr. Harpold has been outstanding with my psychiatric and medical management care. She is attentive, thorough, and takes the time to explain things clearly, which helps me feel comfortable and informed about my treatment. Her professionalism and genuine concern for my well-being have given me confidence and peace of mind in managing my health. I truly appreciate the quality of care she provides. Easterseals MORC has been a wonderful support system. The staff are caring, resourceful, and genuinely invested in helping people succeed. I’m truly grateful for all they do.
They don't know how to answer the phone. Don't waste your time on any of Easter Seals business. Get help somewhere else!

When I had Jenny as my therapist, I felt truly cared for and understood. She pushed me to face difficult things I didn’t want to, but she was real with me and knew exactly how to work with my symptoms. Looking back, I… realize just how skilled she was — she had a way of guiding me to release the hard stuff at the beginning of a session, and by the end, she always made sure I left in a better state. I never walked away from a session with Jenny feeling broken down; I left feeling capable of going about my day, even after heavy topics. As someone who is a survivor of kidnapping, sexual abuse, and physical torture, my “bad days” can be very bad. Jenny understood that and worked with a compassion and intelligence I didn’t even fully appreciate until she was gone. While my new therapist is kind and I don’t want to discredit her — I believe she is good at what she does — she’s not Jenny. Starting over is exhausting. I don’t want to tell my story all over again. With Jenny, I finally felt serious about my mental health for the first time in my life, and Easter Seals made a mistake in not recognizing the value she brought. You don’t have to fire someone to make them leave — lack of appreciation can do that too. I miss the hope I had when I worked with Jenny. Now, I’m just going through the motions. I miss you and really hope you were able to get the appreciation you deserve. If i had money I'd pay for private sessions in a heartbeat. Jenny truly cared for her clients. She remembered what you told her.
The therapists are compassionate, understanding, and highly skilled, helping me navigate and overcome my challenges. The positive impact on my mental health has been profound, improving my overall quality of life. I… can't thank Easterseals enough for their dedication and expertise. Highly recommended! Jenny tremonti is the angel helping on my journey. EDIT 2025 When I had Jenny as my therapist, I felt truly cared for and understood. I am a medical student that did a rotation with NP Jackie Duncan, and she was absolutely amazing. She taught me so much and gave me valuable insight into how to treat and manage patients. She was so kind and so sweet as… well as professional. Wonderful experience here!
My son needs serious help that they can't or won't provide or direct us to who can all because his mom states she has NO issues at her house and him trying to severely harm his siblings at my house and him admiting that… he blacks out and has severe behavior especially when someone sings or plays songs from Disney's Frozen isn't good enough to get him help or take us seriously. I am planning on no longer picking him up to protect the people I'm my household because I am convinced nothing is going to get better and my son even said "As long as you pick me up people will get hurt" If I was confident i could sue this facility for negligence and win, I would"
Very poor management and worse therapists.
OMG! It has taking me about a month to do this review. It wasn't because of procrastination. I'm a very emotional individual. This review is to encourage all of Us to be appreciate in whatever part you participate in.… 1. Jada Fann-Thank you so much for your humbleness, and kindness. 2. Anna Brede- Even Tho we just meet less than a month ago. You Rock :) 3. Jennifer Wims Madden- Takes good care of my needs (LOL). 4. Jenny Tremonti- who has moved on with her new endeavor. Jen listened and helped me with this coworker. Amazing 5. Kristi Bruinsma- Rocked she was the one to referred me to all of the beautiful employees and resources I needed. With all of this being said, I know I'm learning how to accept and get though all mine challenges that come mine way. They all tell me whatever they can help me with they will. Thanks to all at Easter seal Michelle
Our kids have been seeing Ms. Heather a therapist that works with children about 6 months now and I have to write this review today because she is amazing and the world should know also to help potential patients find a… good child therapist. As a parent dealing with any psychological or emotional issues I could not ask for a better person she has went above her requirements countless times and helped us through many crisis situations and has basically held us up through out the entire process of helping us help our children she finds referrals when we need them, tracks down necessary documentation and has stayed on the line through complete and utter chaos to ensure the baby’s get through these moments, and continues to keep us going forward. She advocates for the kids mental health and pushes the process, she is professional and kind and willing to go the extra mile for these kids every single day and that is something that is more than you usually expect to receive when dealing with these situations. So Heather if your reading this your Amazing! And parents if your reading this lost in the process desperate for real help ask for heather by names. Heather Tawfikk is her name. Ms. Heather for the kiddos🥰
I can't 0 stars here but I would definitely if I could. I can't even begin to tell you how awful of an experience I had with this place, if you are a new patient please head my warning... I have been forced to miss work… for appts that weren't necessary. The case manager gave me a run around and put me though repetitive appts to get a therapist for my child only for her to quit a day before her first in person appt. Then the case manager told me she needs more information and more appts with her before I can get another therapist.. again necessary appts.. Only for her to quit and give me another case manager.. I try to book an in person appt with another therapist and they didn't even know her in person office schedule so we waited for 35min just for her not to show up.. Gave them another chance... This time I made an appointment with the therapist so I know that she will be there. I go to confirm today. and nothing I call the office. They say nothing scheduled. The communication there is awful. All I need is help for my child, this is not the place. A coworker recommend this business. And while the location by him was great this one is the worst experience I've ever had life.
Disappointing
The staff is amazing! Each of them are one out of a thousand for people in this modern work eras as far as today’s work ethic is concerned.
My son is 16 and severely autistic. He also has Sibs. This place has been a life saver for our family. Since getting Easter seals involved he is getting all the needed therapies and psychiatry help. We have been blessed… with the team involved with his care. Our case manager Vanessa Klingenberg is phenomenal. Our psychiatrist is loving and shows compassion for my family. I’ve never had issues with his medication refills or making appointments. Highly recommend
This place is a joke and should be shut down bu the government. My case manager lied to me for over a year and a half, her manager today just basically told me that it was my fault. My "doctor" is actually a nurse who… doesn't listen at all. I am now 10s of thousands of dollars in debt because Eaater Seals employees liars.
A Lifesaver and an Inspiration: My Journey with Jenny Tremonti at Easterseals Centerline For someone like me, with a past full of trauma and an ingrained fear of asking for help, seeking therapy was one of the hardest… decisions I’ve ever made. Years ago, I tried reaching out to doctors and counselors, but their lack of empathy left me feeling unheard and even more broken. That experience almost cost me everything, and I swore I’d never ask for help again. The stigma felt real, and I was convinced that professionals just didn’t care beyond their rote questions like, “And how does that make you feel?” But life has a way of forcing us to try again, even when we think we’re done. Desperate and at my breaking point, I decided to give therapy one last shot. That’s when I met Jenny Tremonti at Easterseals Centerline—and my life started to change in ways I never thought possible. When we had our first session, I was skeptical. I logged in thinking, This isn’t going to work. I had my walls up, and the moment we touched on any sensitive topic, the tears came flooding out. I knew than i naturally trusted her. As someone who has struggled with trust, opening up wasn’t just hard; it felt impossible. But Jenny made it feel safe. From the very beginning, she was patient, kind, and non-judgmental. She created a space where I felt truly seen for the first time in years. Jenny understood my fear of spiraling and respected the fact that I needed to move at my own pace. She promised me something I’ll never forget: that she would walk me through the hell of my past, holding my hand every step of the way, until I reached stability. And she’s kept that promise thus far. Jenny, if you’re reading this, I want you to know how much I appreciate you. You’ve made a difference in my life that words can barely capture. You’ve shown me that trusting is possible, even for someone as guarded and broken as me. I have hopes i can heal. Thank you for your patience, your compassion, and your unwavering dedication. You are truly a gift to this world, and I’m so grateful to have you by my side on this journey. To anyone reading this and wondering if there’s hope out there—Jenny Tremonti is proof that there is. She’s not just a psychologist; she’s a lifesaver.
Dr. Jackie Duncan is an excellent psychiatrist who genuinely listens and offers valuable support during appointments. I highly recommend her for anyone seeking compassionate and attentive care. However, it is worth… noting that she is incredibly overbooked, which can make it challenging to get help between scheduled visits. For busy individuals like myself, this lack of availability can lead to trying to manage things independently, which isn't ideal since we lack her expertise in recognizing symptoms and understanding chemical balances. While Dr. Duncan is wonderful, the clinic's management should address the clear staffing and scheduling issues. The team seems overworked and understaffed, which impacts accessibility for patients. Improving these areas would make a huge difference for those relying on this practice for mental health care.
I highly recommend Chiara Humphries as your case manager! She is amazing person who always ready to help with all you needs! Great special! Always knows everything , very helpful !
