Bridge Back to Life Center Inc – Bethpage

I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to after my experience at Bridge. I've been attending counseling here for nearly a year, and I wanted to specifically recognize Elizabeth for her diligence,… professionalism, and genuine expertise as both a counselor and group facilitator. Elizabeth has been nothing short of exceptional. To date, we've exchanged over 40 emails, and there has not been a single instance where she failed to respond or took longer than an hour or two to reply with thoughtful advice and guidance. That alone speaks volumes about her commitment and credibility, but it only scratches the surface. Beyond her responsiveness, Elizabeth has consistently served as an anchor of support, not only for me but for everyone in the program. She brings a level of attentiveness and care to her work that makes you feel like you genuinely matter, which, based on some of the other reviews here, I understand isn't always a given. In my experience, and in the experience of my peers, it has been. I've also been fortunate enough to work with many of the other counselors and staff here, including Sam, Bill, Lance, and others who have all contributed to making this a genuinely supportive environment. Elizabeth may be the reason I'm writing this review, but she's part of a team that deserves recognition across the board.

This place is so money hungry. They don’t care about patients, they only see you as a dollar sign. The employee Laurie will literally withhold services and harass the doctors to not see you if you don’t pay the copay.… According to their mission, they “deal with collateral problems most substance abusers present with upon admission to our programs (i.e. emotional, FINANCIAL, familial, legal, spiritual, etc).” Laurie’s actions do not align with this mission, she should be fired.

Place just wants to see you fail they won’t advocate for you at all & try to make your life miserable. Do not recommend to anyone. I would’ve been done with my program by now if it wasn’t for them. I’ve been there since… March with negative screenings and they refuse to move me up. They complain to you about their “rules” , call you at 8am, email you at 9pm , the whole place is backwards and nothing makes any type of sense. Will NOT be returning when I complete.

I am having a great experience here! I have learn so much from my therapist Stephanie C. about relationships, well being and mental stability in difficult environments. She has done amazing work with us in group therapy… and is always emotionally present for one -on one sessions. Front desk is always attentive from my point of view. People need to learn to treat people they way that they want to be treated. Make and effort to pay it forward people!

Everyone that I have encountered at the Bethpage location has been an enormous help through this difficult process. I have learned so much and at every turn I had immense support which has been vital to my success. I… feel so grateful for this facility and everyone who worked with me. They have changed my life in such a positive way that I did not think was even possible.

The mobile unit in Sullivan County saved my life! I was in a very dark place and didn’t think there was any hope. I saw a post on Facebook and went immediately. Julia and Heather didn’t judge me and they made me feel… comfortable and gave me hope. I am so grateful to say I have a year free from my addiction and want to thank everyone at bridge back to life, Julia, Heather, Andrew, Rosalia and everyone in the groups. You were all gifts from God. I didn’t have the money to pay for treatment and they told me to write a letter explaining my situation, they let me continue treatment without paying. I honestly do not know where I would be today without this program. Thank you all and God Bless

Have worked long an hard to get me where I was always ment to be

Unprofessional, rude, staff - namely Alex. He had such a poor attitude that we had to walk out. Center was unwelcoming and bleak with signage all over the walls. He insisted that we wear masks but he wasn't wearing one.… Don't waste your time. This is not a constructive, positive environment.

Do not seek help for any kind of substance abuse from these people they are completely lacking of experience and supervision amongst themselves complete chaos there are other places in all communities please seek them… out

Staff is rude , no one knows what they are doing , extremely unprofessional. you would think they would be more professional being that they are in the mental health , such not cause more anxiety, the therapist i was… using , left and someone was to replace her , I have yet to get a session , I keep getting the runaround and a return call back , still no call , its been weeks

Good location, everything’s running smoothly.

I was hospitalized and the bills cleared my deductible, but the insurance did not process it yet. They called me and did the intake which was $175 but they did not tell me until after...Even once the deductible was… cleared they refused to refund me. They are just money hungry, do yourself a favor and take your recovery elsewhere.

The staff here is rude. 9 times out of 10 they seem to not know what is going on. Things weren’t clearly explained and I ended up wasting over $500 here. And somehow still got bills in the mail from this place that I… already paid. Please do your research

I would never recommend this place . They load clients up on medication they don’t need keeping them addicted and or creating a new addiction.The doctor (neurologist)knows nothing about addiction but claims to be an… addiction specialist .No way! If you are serious about getting clean, do not go there

Bridge back to life is dishonest and disgusting.Thay dont help you all thay want is money.Its a scam to get your money.Most people that gos there are mandated by there job.kickbacks are in play at that place.DONT,DONT,… GO THERE YOU WILL BY SORRY.

Deceit and lies are all you're going to get here find a different place because this place is terrible

The staff at this place is a disaster! Nightmare ! No one knows what there doing. They don't do things accordingly as they should when patients come in for there appointment. No one returns your phone call when needing… to speak with the DR regarding medication they prescribed. This place is in desperate need of a manager. The entire staff is unfriendly especially the front desk people. No one smiles. There miserable. Extreamly disappointed !

This place is a joke. No one ever knows what's going on. I've been in the program for a week and I have still yet to receive help. If you really need help, spend your money somewhere else because these people do not… know how to help people that are sick
