Buckeye Clinic – London Detox and Rehab Services

What Buckeye Clinic – London offers, on record, is detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Withdrawal is managed under clinical observation before other treatment begins, which matters most in the first seventy-two hours for alcohol and benzodiazepines. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Buckeye Clinic – London Address, Location and Contact Information

The site is at 231 Lafayette Street in London, Ohio, 43140. Madison County covers this area. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Admissions lines are frequently busiest early in the week, which is worth knowing if the first attempt fails.

UPDATE: its been a few years since my last review and I wouldn't change any of it. The people who work here are truly the heart an soul of this wonderful place! I know its the work that I have put into my sobriety but… they have given me the tools to grow, learn and generally be the best me I can be! Huge thank you to the buckeye clinic team! Seth is amazing and Josh in Whitehall is my favorite to just talk about life with. Josh has seen me at my lowest and now gets to see me at my best! The best part is life does get better ❤️ I absolutely love the people there!! From receptionist to counselors , nurse (she is amazing and always puts a smile on my face) , the Dr's all of them have helped me with my journey. They are always welcoming and supportive. I've come to trust these wonderful people. Never once have I felt judged.

I've been through 35 different programs in my life and I'm not proud of that truth. I am proud to be a part of this program though. It is the best program I've ever been a part of. I am from southern Ohio and been… through treatment up and down Ohio, California, Iowa, and Florida. Buckeye clinic is the first treatment center I would suggest for someone to come in to. The staff really reflects the hope found in the 12 steps of AA. They care for the individual and manage the individual's care around the needs of that person. They show the light at the end of the tunnel. The promises of a new life can be found at Buckeye Clinic. If you are trying to decide where to go to for help changing your life, please come to Buckeye Clinic.

In my life I have been to a total of 7 rehabilitation centers. All across the country in so many different areas of my life trying to get help with my Substance Use Disorder. I have been in recovery since the age of 19… and I’m now 33. For once in my life I can say with surety and wholehearted faith that I have a found a home with Buckeye Clinic and its staff and peers. I’ve been given a chance to face my life and acknowledge things about myself that without these people I never would have even given a second thought to. If you or a loved one are battling with substance use disorder or dual diagnosis. Give yourself the chance to feel the blessing that is this establishment. Recovery is a life long process and I couldn’t have found a better place or better people than the ones here at Buckeye Clinic. I’ve found a home, connection, health and happiness amidst the people here. I’ve found empathy and compassion in abundance here. So much so that I’ve come to believe that I’m worth giving to myself. They’ve given me faith in myself again and the belief that even someone like myself is worthy of living peaceful, happy and whole life.
