Talbert House – Cincinnati (510 Oak Street) Reviews and Ratings
Have you or a loved one been treated at Talbert House? A few lines about admissions, the staff and what happened after treatment ended can help another family in Cincinnati weigh the same choice.
Great!
Adapt for men has charged my insurance company for services not rendered and also female staff walk right into personal areas with no announcements. We are supposed to do updated treatment plans by Ohio state law once… every 90 days and I have only done 1 in 8 months. This place is nothing but a money funnel with no true outcomes. They put barriers up to watch you fail. When staff makes mistakes it falls on the clients as well.
Visited my brother
While the people are awesome this is not a space for those who have special needs. Please look elsewhere, to those that lead it do it better or change things up for people who are handicable!! GOD BLESS
Welllllll, where do I even begin? First they had only one working toilet for about 20 guys and many times have been told to pee in the shower. Gross! The food they serve is undercooked and past expiration date. People… get sick from the food every day. The staff is racist against white men. Thought all that should have no business in that kind of place. They leave you till the last day to try and rush and find a place to go. They under medicate sometimes. People sneak drugs in there all the time. Staff except for a select few are off no help at all and one even told me to get high and come back in 24 hours so I could buy more time to find a place to go from there. The staff is extremely rude and no one seems to care at all. They have a box full of grievances that staff told me they don’t ever check it. I need help to find someone higher up to let them know. Also this place is a definite insurance scam. Without a doubt.
Place is awful
Perfect place for recovery
So I graduated this program like 2 days ago and like the curriculum is really good there and the clinicians really do care about the clients and so does the director of the program, but I will say that some of the RAs… are most definitely racist and they definitely choose between their favorite clients and let it be known. It’s very inconsistent, the drop off times change all the time one day you’re allowed to wear something the next day, your not but as far of the curriculum and the clinical staff and the director they’re really good people
I attend the MAT program at Crossroads. The building has numerous programs geared at assisting individuals with substance abuse issues from smoking cessesstion to heroin addiction. I have had interactions with numerous… staff at multiple programs. I have been attending groups and individuals counseling as far back as 2013. I would highly recommend this place for people who are convinced they have a problem to people who believe they just need a little support to get over it. Give them a call. What could it hurt. Good luck and God bless.
I got to crossroads clinic and it's a great place and also has inpatient treatment for full service they even treat mental health also so they treat the full problem I feel like
Do not like the rules for drop offs for residents there you're required to place things in boxes instead of bags and sometimes it's hard to pick up boxes and they are only allowed food boxes once a month.
Staff is willing to go as far as you yourself are willing to go. The place isn't designed to make you feel home, but they do well with what they have and I feel fortunate to have been through the program.
They help people who have a very hard time getting off street drugs. The people are the better for it. So thank the Talbert House.
Well my personal experience with the Talbert House Adapt for women. That program was amazing and saved my life. I would recommend that program to anyone who is struggling with Addiction. Judge Burke, the probation… officers Erica and Missy, and all of the RA’s and the counselors that works upstairs at Adapt for Women we're amazing. They taught me so much about the coping and life skills that I used everyday and for that I am so grateful. I hope someone reads this and it really helps someone. It will make me so happy to know that someone else got their second chance at life.
Great place for addiction treatment.
Talbert house is garbage!!! There's way better options for sobriety!!!
I bring the ladies a group once a week and it's a very special commitment for me. Paying it forward is good for the soul! Thank you ladies for the opportunity
The Engagement Center food was just absolutely terrible there. One nurse totally rude. Staff was respectful & courteous. I'm still on the right tract thanks for you help. Maurice was very helpful as well!!
My fiance has been sentenced to 90 days of treatment at the adapt women's Talbert House. She has been there almost 2 weeks and has had zero complaints about staff or patients. ........update on ADAPT. APPARENTLY EVERY… ROOM(SLEEPING QUARTER'S INCLUDED) EXCEPT FOR THE BATHROOM HAVE CAMERAS, WHICH ARE ABLE TO BE VIEWED ON A COMPANY ISSUED CELL PHONE THAT ALL EMPLOYEES ARE GIVEN. DAY OR NIGHT, DURING THEIR SHIFT OR SITTING AT HOME ON THEIR COUCH. THERE IS ALSO NO POLICY AGAINST ANY MALE BEING ON THE WOMEN'S UNIT.(COUNCILORS OR MALE INMATES)
