Great place
Really good service. Monica, one of the best counselor serenity point has.
Monica is the best counselor really easy to get along with very flexible with people schedules couldn’t have asked for a better person
Absolutely love them! Very kind, friendly staff! Thorough and anonymous services. Highly recommend!
Absolute bogus. No concept of how an addict actually works just a bunch of false teachings and very impatient staff. Expect to be kicked from the program before you’re sober or healed if they think it’s taking too long… or “you aren’t trying”.
This place is really helping me change my life around. I really appreciate the staff and and how they are really cool and respectful
The staff and counselors are very competent and friendly. I recommend Serenity Point for anyone who has a substance abuse problem and wants to change.
Staff was very welcoming, my wait time was minimal! I Would recommend serenity point to others!
Staff is friendly and my one on ones are amazing with Christy. She’s amazing and super friendly! 10/10 for her
I’ve had a great experience at Serenity Point while receiving treatment. The staff are kind and professional, and I’ve never had any issues with anyone. My counselor is very understanding and easy to talk to, which… makes the process comfortable and supportive. Overall, a really positive and helpful place.
Don't expect them to call anyone back. They take their time and they don't give you a valid reason why
In the time of my growth here I have felt very welcomed and very comfortable with the people here and the lessons I am being taught. I don’t feel judged and it feels very rewarding to share sessions with other… Individuals that I can relate to. I enjoy opening up about my experiences. I truly feel that I will be able to get through my trials and move forward because I know that the people helping me here are here to do just that! Thank you serenity point for being such a great resource in my life. I can’t wait to make you proud!
Friendly staff, safe place for recovery.
I just completed the MRT program they offer called Staying Quit. Before that, i was in the other level 1.0 continuing care program, and before that, i completed the level 2.1 intensive outpatient. I entered these… programs after completing a long-term residential program in Spokane at Isabella House. Participating in these programs, in addition to doing individual sessions with my counselor there at least once a month, giving UAs when asked, doing weekly mental health therapy sessions with another provider, participating in 12 step meetings, getting a sponsor, and working steps has turned my life around 180°. I'm a firm believer that there is no one solution cure all for addiction. However, i also believe that everyone needs to figure out for themselves what works for them and what doesn't. For me, I had to fully engulf my life in recovery mainly due to knowing just how sick I truly was. Not every day is perfect. Some days just outright suck. But Serenity Point Counseling Services has helped ensure that I have the tools and support systems in place that I need to be successful in my recovery. I feel that the counselors actually listen to their clients needs and work with their clients to form individual service plans that target problem areas in their lives in order to keep progressing in recovery and ensure continued success even after discharge from the program. I was a client many years ago, and for anyone who has a preconceived notion of it not being an effective program from years past, i can tell you right now, this is not the same as it was then. So, for anyone struggling with their addiction, even if you're unsure if you need or even WANT help, reach out to them. What do you have to lose?
They are very helpful and caring about what your future holds they give good feed back to prevent relapse
Great place actually works if you come and take what you need from it ! Highly recommend also counselors that hear you out and take time to meet when needed !
My experience at Serenity Point has been absolutely amazing! When I first started, I thought to myself, "This is going to be a drag." But, I was wrong. It has been an awesome experience. Most days, I actually look… forward to group. My group is the best, and I couldn't ask for a better counselor. Monica has been great to work with and has given me all the tools I need to succeed.
I had a really positive experience with Monica and received exceptional care during my treatment. She was thorough and went the extra mile to ensure myself and others felt safe, while also providing the right tools for… maintaining abstinence. It’s so important to have a compassionate and knowledgeable professional by your side during such a challenging journey.
The staff/counselor was always welcoming, polite, and organized. They created an atmosphere of easy sharing. I appreciated the extensive educational information and insight.
I have had a wonderful experience & have learned a lot from counselors, they are much appreciated!
The practice of this establishment is entirely unethical. Even more so, their billing department is unkempt and disorganized, to say the least. The comments and reviews that succinct to "all they want is money" are 100%… correct, and I feel for those who have been affected by this "Counseling Service". I was 17 years old when I was court ordered to attend Serenity Point and attending the service through my insurance program. I am now 29 years old. I've been fighting them for 13 years due to a statement that shows I owe over $1,000. As a 17 year old, this seems highly unethical. At the time, I was underage and again, attended through my insurance program. I've been down to the office and I've spoken with their billing department and they quite literally do not have record of my attendance nor did they have record of billing on my behalf. However because it was turned into the credit bureau I now have to pay it regardless, which is fine. I can do that. But this is just a warning to whoever is seeking to attend Serenity Point. If this is court ordered, I would suggest to your attorney and/or probation officer to attend a counseling service elsewhere. If this is for personal recovery, please, please, please go elsewhere. To say I am absolutely disgusted by the owners and employee's of this service would be an understatement. They do and will not "provide high-quality behavioral health care to the Walla Walla Community". The fact that they are family owned? Speechless. I hope this review can help someone in the future.
Labeled me with a condition that takes 12 months of evaluation in order to diagnose. Met one time! Did not fail any chemical screenings. A scam.
Extremely unprofessional/emotionally driven counselor. Program itself is redundant and just feels like one big money grab scam. I had to harass them for like 6 months to charge my insurance finally which they seemed to… not want to do.(sketchy) and the counselor I was assigned to made it a point to try and mess with my process by sending letters to the courts or having me come in for last minute UAs, to which I never once failed, all while holding me in IOP for so long that I learned the SAME curriculum TWICE(around 6+months). Not because I struggled with relapse or addiction still, simply because I did not kiss rear ends and just wanted to get my program over with. Beware of signing up.
Scam.
